Welcome boys and girls! Whelp looks like the devs love doing exactly what I say isn't likely to happen. They need to pick a pattern and stick with it so I can predict them! Ah, oh well I guess everyone will be happy for Odette to arrive.... at least until they realize she has a 16 level skill..... Lets hope she doesn't decide to do a magic trick and make all her levels disappear.... like she did to DMM..

Comments about the event

If I had to say any unit was the focus class during this event. It would have to be Archers/Vampire Hunters, but honestly this event shouldn't be to hard for people. All maps can be cleared with unCCd teams.

The final map which is clearly the best to farm Odette on shows a 40-50% drop rate based on aggregate data.

OMG a Calliope drop?!?!?! That alone has me excited for this event!

I wasn't playing yet during Belinda's event and wasn't aware how impossible obtaining anymore silver witches would become. I saved a Calliope for Cloris' CC, but used the rest on herself since I didn't have any luck in my early splurge getting other witches. Got Adele when I did a couple summons during Karma's event and she's been benched at 50 waiting for the opportunity to get her CC.

My mage team only has my two grumpy jii-sans Cyrus and Barbastroff, so a nice platinum beauty will be more than welcome also :p

I would really like one of those witches as well, I have Cloris at level 50 but can't CC her yet. A second one to CC Calliope might be nice as well, but not sure I care about that a great deal in the short term; just getting one would do me quite nicely!

It seems strange that the intermediate one doesn't drop the event unit, though.

I also am hoping that the "all event maps can be cleared without CC'd units" is accurate. I watched the video for the last one. It looks like it might be rough for my team, perhaps not 3*-able (those four riders at the end bring back bad memories of some of the story maps), but perhaps doable...

Personally i am going to burn every other copy i can on her since i dislike having double of the same on my team, but i reckon somewhere when the chance for skill increase drops to 25% is a good chance to stop if you want a second.

Also wanting tons of calliopes. That last map is gold! Calliope, demon crystals and Odettes!

What do you want all the extra Calliope's for? Skilling up Increase Attack on other cards? I mostly just wanted a couple more for CC purposes, but aside from skill-ups, not sure what the need is for having a large pile of them

Though it's a great idea from the other poster to save a bunch for War of Magic, that's the one I'm stuck on right now too (3-star on everything else below it). Trying to use mages on that is never going to happen.

I just picked up Spica today! Saki is a long, long ways away though. Need to pick up another 284 or so Demon Crystals. Doable since I already managed 200 of the things, but definitely will be a grind. :)

I also sent a ticket in about the event, random non-helpful generic response (only deviation I've seen from others was a single sentence saying that the SC we got was "not for delaying the event, but for maintenance".

Well, after todays DC daily has ended i now lack 24 crystals. That means 24 from getting all 3 trading post units :D

So if the event hits next week and i get a fancy amount of DC from the last map i should be set.

Monica is just insane though, in all honesty. Before i got her my standard DC per map was 3, now i usually get 4. Even got a full 6 yesterday.

just random question here regarding this upcoming event. Can someone give me a general ideea about how strong a team would need to be able to finish this event ? Especially if i'm aiming for a perfect unit ? To put it simple , what of the regular story maps compare in dificulty ? Curious to see what chances i would have and on which of my 2 accounts i should focus leveling up till the event hits.

Kinda hard to say, imo.
I doubt any of us have ever done this event. It can't be that difficult, though. It was one of the earlier event in DMM.
I'd say if you can 3 star castle retake, then events like this shouldn't be much of a problem.

well , i was hoping for an answer from someone that played the original version. That being said , yes i can 3 star castle retake on my main account...but even that was pretty hard for me since i have a crap tank (only silver). Luckly i got lucky in healers (1 gold , 1 plat ). Hmm...so i should probably grind up my newer acount in hopes i can get it up fast enough. Right now , i 3stared anything under armor of the dead. If i could get lucky with the assasin and kill the first 2 armors as well , then i will probably be able to take that map at 3 stars as well. Kinda hard tho , since i made this account 2 days ago....so didn't got to do the monday dailies. Its hard to level up units with only mission gold. Anyway , thx for the answer. Hm...i just watched the videos (yeah , i know , i comented without watching them) , and honestly , all seem doable on both my accounts. Actually , i think my older one has less of a chance then the new one , since most monsters seem to be weak to physical and my archers are still rather weak right now. Also the fact that they are generally zerg rushing means , Nanaly , on my second would be extremely useful. That being said , i should raise my healers a bit tho , since unCCed healers have low range , and my problem will be placement. Also the hardest map seemed to be the 3rd in my opinion.

My level 80 Sybilla with skill active (5/5) will only do 130 damage on the last map, so im incredibly sad :)

Hi, I'll take the chance to ask if my current units are good for the upcoming event, based on what you said here.

For archers, I have a 50CC50 Soma and a 50CC40 Daniela.
For the tank role I'm currently leveling my Leeanne, at the moment she is 50CC39. Also I'm planning to use Katie if needed (50CC32).

I think I've screwed it up with Valks, I have no one CC'ed. As soon as I get Leeanne (I'm leveling my tank for now) at 50CC50 I'll start with Kerry and Elaine, but I'm not sure if they'll reach a decent level in time.
It's Ok with them? Or should I improve something else? I'm still kinda confused when playing Aigis xD

Well, just work the best you can on Kerry and hope you can get her high enough. We still do not even know if the event will start this week or not.
The last 40-50 stretch is quite hefty so might want to work on Kerry now already.

I have the same problem : no cc-ed valk on any acount , since i barely use them. And i lack princesess for that matter. The problem is that everyone said that Odette is going to hit with magic , so a physical tank might not be strong enough for her. That's why everyone recomands valks.

Well, darn. Got Odette, but I messed up on Monster Hunter N (one of the red gargoyles got past due to my placement the first time), so I can't give Monster Hunter X until this evening. But still. Woo Odette! Now for the grind. Once I get a chance to play the map a few times and figure out my deployment strategy. :)

Wow, the first map was really, really, easy. My team is mostly between level 20-30 (some below that, even), and they 3-starred that map without breaking a sweat. I think I'll need to spend some charisma to level them up some more, though. In the second map, Odette and her mage buddy nuked a couple of my team members before I could react in time. Because of that and a single red gargoyle breaking through, I was only able to 1-star it. Still, knowing that it's possible to get Odette from any of the Extermination maps has me hopeful I'll be able to get her on my team. :)

Well, it went better than expected. The lack of the 2nd valk hurted a little during Monster Extermination H, but still managed to clear it with 1 star (f*ck u plat armors, lol) and get my first Odette.
40 mins until I can give the next stage a try, though from what I saw in videos, it may be kinda tricky for my current team, so I'm already using available time to improve it.

Let's see how it goes. Worst case scenario, I'll have to farm stuff at Monster Extermination H, instead of X.

Farming at ME H wasn't as bad as I thought, so far I got 3 or 4 Odettes, which is kinda faster than I expected. I'm not sure how fast are other players farming from ME X, but still I'm happy with my current results.

Good info on Valerie drops, I think I'll need to farm some too.

My results are not so great. MH:X has given me 1 additional Odette so far. I hit MH:N 4x today though and pulled a Valerie, so now I am all set to CC my Odette when I finish getting her to 50. No Calliopes or anything else really useful, alas. Looking like I won't get to buff my Odette a huge amount, but hey, every little bit is better than nothing. :)

I got a question regarding buffing Odette. After lvl 50 CC do i have to cc all other odettes i have to boost her abillity or before CC? Im kinda new to the game and got only 2 odettes so far and can farm all maps except last one atm :s

No, they can be left at level 1 if you want.

Three full clears of Monster Hunter H in a row with 0 drops at all. Rather disappointing!

The one before that did drop an Odette though (third one total, so was able to do two combines. Had good luck with those, both were a unit cost reduction AND a skill-up).

I got 0 drops from time to time, too. IMO that shouldn't happen in event maps.
But I can't really complain, though, just got my 6th Odette, so I guess I can stick to ME H and stop worrying about finishing ME X.

Well, unless you get to receive something extra for doing so, but I have no idea if something like that happens. It's my first event after all.

If you've got a decent Witch they can still do good damage, despite the magic resist - My 50CC10 Calliope was one of my main damage dealers after I left her in by accident following some Dragon Hunting. I assume Mages will also do well still, but are probably too expensive for the first wave.

Can somebody tell me what the rates are ? I can 3 star the last map with both accounts , and while on my main 1 i keep getting drops (8 or 9 or so) , i can't CR past the first 100% one. Skill is somewhere around 5 , but after 7-8 combinations i'm still at 34 cost. On my secondary , i can't seem to get a drop....at all. I have only the first guaranteed drop , but after 8 or so repetitions ( wasted a SC as well ) , i can't seem to get 1 god damn odette. Got 3 caliopes , but not 1 odette. The thing is , tomorow is the last day i can play aigis for this event. I think the RNGessus is trolling me

and her CR/SK+ rates ? It seems a bit ridiculous that after 7 combinations i could not get the second CR. I was expecting it to be somewhere around 75% after the first 1...

CR is 100% -> 50% -> 25% (25 for all 3 last ones).
SU is 100% on the first, then 50% until 8/16, followed by 25% and then finally 5% on the last point.

And a 35-cost 8/16 50CC42 Odette, with one Odette still left over (will merge her when I get 2 more platinum fairies, but most likely won't get a skill-up from it).

Pretty happy with how it went actually, given that the last event I just barely managed to squeak out a Rowanna at all.

My Odette ended up like yours, except I used every copy to get her to mincost... Even ended up using a SC to get the last 3 that got her from 36 to 35 cost...

Well I got well over the 20 Odettes mark and not a single calliope dropped for me on the last mission...

I wasn't able to clear last mission (iBad :() but I got Odette to 31 Cost (1 off full CR), 6/16 skill. So I don't think I did too poorly. (I also have enough Gold Shield guys that he's at full CR and I still have enough left over to Evolve him and Leanne, and I think 2 or 3 others that need Silver Heavy for whatever reason)
