Paypal limited my account, so this is currently suspended until a resolution can be achieved. Sorry!

I tried making a new account but that one got suspended today for being "linked" to the first one.

This post should not be considered final unless otherwise stated by me

Well, those of you from 4chan may recall my original post before I made this forum. I mentioned that I'd like to use a credits system that can be exchanged for real currency for buying Nutaku gold. Of course, I couldn't do that unless they actually implemented Paypal, and now they have.

Starting in July, I will allow for credits to be withdrawn to a Paypal account. My budget for this is looking pretty good with my main website kicking it up a notch in traffic and revenue, so as of now there is not a maximum monthly withdrawal limit.

So, how do you gain credits? By being active, mostly.
Posts are worth 1 credits each + 0.001 per word, minimum 10 words to qualify
Threads are worth 2 each + 0.005 per word, minimum 30 words to qualify
Referrals are worth 25

For referrals to count and be credited to you, the referred member much reach 20 posts, at which point they become a full member. These transactions are moderated and the member will be reviewed. The most important factor in deciding if this is a valid referral will be if the account appears to be a duplicate from another member. Yes, you may invite your friends and family (if you dare) to participate in this forum and the games it is about. But, NO. You may NOT sign up your brother, sister, father, uncle or what have you as a referral if they all live with you and share a connection. Accounts signed up through a proxy are also not eligible.

How to refer?
In any thread, under the "Thread Tools" dropdown box, there will be a link to e-mail a friend. This opens a page and auto-completes the message box with a link to said thread that includes your referral ID. &referrerid=#### can be appended to most urls of this forum to award referral credit.

To start with, I am offering $1 for every 25 credits earned.
$5 minimum to withdraw. Requests only accepted in $5 increments.
I don't want to sit and process tons of $1 or less requests. I got games to play too, you know!
As of now, requests must be made via a PM to me. You must include the required information and meet any conditions as follows:

Paypal primary e-mail address
Amount of credits you want to exchange, along with the expected dollar amount.
First time requests limited to $5 and must include a screenshot that shows Nutaku user name, current gold amount, and the date/time according to your PC clock.

To be eligible for additional requests at another time, another screenshot must be taken and provided to me showing the additional deposit in your Nutaku account. I don't feel like this is too much to ask when I'm offering you money for being part of a community.

More ways to earn credits can always happen in the future, but we will need to see where I sit with just this. I don't want to over-commit with too many ways to earn credits and end up with not enough income to accommodate for it.

Terms for use of credits:

Please understand that any credit values mentioned in this post are subject to change as necessary. However, upon a withdrawal request, the amount will not change from the time the request is made to the time it is processed. I will not change your 125 credit/$5 request to anything less or more.
Spamming will not be tolerated. Infractions may be issued if your activity appears to be nothing more than to make as many posts as possible in a short time. Infractions cost you credits, and become more costly each time.
Money sent to you is meant to be used to purchase Nutaku gold. I ask that you please honor this request. The whole point of this is for me to help support Nutaku without needlessly spending money on myself for RNG premium draws that are likely to be garbage anyway. If it becomes clear to me that the money is not being used for this purpose, you may lose the ability to request payouts.
If at any point it is decided that I simply cannot continue this offer, there will be a 30 day warning. All payout requests made up to and including the final day will be honored.
These terms are subject to change as necessary

I have also installed a Raffles system. This will eventually be used to hold drawings for bonus payouts. Raffle tickets can be purchased with credits when it is available.

If you do not wish to cash out credits, that is fine. They can also be used to purchase items from the shop. More items can and will be added over time.
If anything in this post make people feel uncomfortable, or is disagreeable, then let me know. Feel free to state opinions and suggestions inside this thread.

I had to update the value of posting.

Posts and threads now have a slightly higher initial value, but words are worth much less. Adjusted values are in red.
Word values were too powerful, and as shown it is too easy to exploit. Single posts being worth well over 100 credits was certainly not intended, and isn't something I can support. As of now, there is much more value in credits earned than what the website has earned from the (very limited) advertising.

As stated before, this benefit is still in the testing phase.

I may need to reconsider how it works. Greater rewards for those who produce well-made, useful, and even popular guides sounds like something I can do.

"Money sent to you is meant to be used to purchase Nutaku gold. I ask that you please honor this request."
Tiny problem, Nutaku is being picky with PP, tried buying gold and site basically told me my PP is no good and i should add CC to it.
Not a fucking clue why they would add PP option if you still need to use credit card :/

[edit] Just tried buying again and got told "Aby sfinalizować zakup, dodaj kartę." which translates to: "To finalise payment add credit cad" (as in add credit card to your paypal account)

[edit2] Just saw they actually added paysafecard, as an alternative you could give ok to people to get PP from you to buy paysafecard to get credits if they have problems with PP like me :P

note to self: buy cheapest paysafecard and test it on nutaku (never used it)

Going to be forced to use a different option anyway, if possible. Apparently Paypal had an issue with my activities, so now my account is suspended. Can't even access the funds in it for 6 months. And I'm banned from making new accounts. Already tried that and it got suspended too.

Kind of shitty of them to do this, really.

Anything is better than Safetypay (i can't change payment methods, Epoch refused to do). Paypal warning is obvious, they need to verify your account with real data (charges $2-3 and sends a code in...

@up
Bummer, as i don't intend to verify my paypal (i see no reason why i should have to).
Oh well i will have to try this paysafecard sometime in the future.

Where are you seeing this paysafecard? I'm only getting options for CC and paypal.

Hmm, I wonder if this is a region specific thing? I'm in USA and all I see there is:
Credit Card
PayPal

Quite possibly since this "Przelewy24" is a polish payment site.

[edit] and i just tested "przelewy24" by buying 100 gold, works fine and it only needs quick bank transfer so screw paypal.

Sorry to hear that PayPal is behaving like an ass now.

I can't enlarge the pic you posted with PayPal's notification, why they are banning you exactly?

Because they realised he is trying to start a new cult and wanted to stop him before he could grow in power!

Jokes aside, also curious.

Sorry, fixed it.
It's just a generic email they send informing of the suspension.

@up So when they suspend your account... and decide to not lift it you lose all your money on PP?

Surprising that you have less options than us (maybe ToS/copyright paranoia).

And i'm condemned to be stuck with SafetyPay. Epoch is owned by Manwin, who owns Pornhub and Brazzers, is a big holding.

No, the funds are held for 6 months.

The last paragraph in that email suggests that the reason they suspended you was because of the anime streaming site you put up.

That would be true if I was selling anything on there via paypal. But I'm not selling anything there at all.

In fact, that site is not linked to my paypal in any way.

I've already sent them a message, so will just see what they say. Taking some time for a response, apparently.

False positive. They was tracking you?

I know that USA is insanely paranoid with copyright issues (the "Pixels" fiasco in Vimeo as example), but these kind of links are not good.

EDIT: I saw dat site, i'm worried cuz you're murican. Good luck.

The Anime Fortune FAQ has you stating that you are currently funding that site's operations by selling premium accounts for TStorage, which is a file-sharing site. It looks like you're handling the money from that on some other service, but from the first paragraph of the email, that seems to be where they think the money in your account is coming from.

About paypal and this kind of stuff, is legit to trade something in the forum?

Yes, that is fine.

Also an update on this issue:

They are letting have a new account, but all my bank/card information is still stored in the old account. I cannot link the same card/account to a second paypal account, and I can't unlink my stuff from the old account because of the limitation. The limitation is for a total of 6 months, so I can't do it until then.

The only way to short that time is via shitstorm as happened with other false positives.

https://gigaom.com/2014/07/01/paypal-freezes-account-of-secure-email-startup-protonmail-asking-is-it-legal/

In your case, you should prove that your paypal account is not involved with your anime site but this fan site.

Alright, so we had a short chat about this in the shoutbox a bit earlier today, and it seemed everyone there was in favor or at least not openly opposed to this.

This offer is just going to be discontinued. For one, I can't pay right now anyway because of the issue with my old account being suspended. It won't let me disconnect my banking info while the suspension is in place. Aside from that, ad revenue is very low at this point - especially with 80% of pageviews having an adblocker active. The funds to pay all the credits are just not there.

And there is also an issue that is preventing some members from gaining any credits whatsoever. I've been unable to figure that one out ever since I noticed it. According to all the settings, there should not be any reason these users don't gain anything.

I have a new account now. My old one is still suspended and it will remain that way.
The button was added because others were expressing interest in having one available.
