Comments about the event

Well the event overall doesn't look to hard to do. However, the first god tier map seems to require you use awakened units, and the second is definitely a lot easier with them, but it is possible to beat it without awakened units. The rest of the maps you appear to be easily able to blow through without to much of a problem with a well trained harem... or army for those you who trust guys not to steal your girls and alcohol... which they do... *cough*... This should be a very enjoyable event. For those of you who can complete it quick enough you'll have a two week break. That you can farm affection, fairies, exp cans, demon crystals, or silvers. Completely your choice.

Hey, first time posting here but long time reader.

Managed to clear all stages with 3 stars. Done with the event. Had more trouble with Final Battle in the Dark Night X than the last one though (for some reason one of my units got killed two attemps in a row).

Seems Kagerou isn't implemented in the game yet (considering she's loli/loli-like, damn it Nutaku), so the drop in that map is a Cecily instead. Here is a picture as proof:

I'm not sure what you mean by final battle X... I'm assuming you are referring to dark night X the 8th map.. If that is the case the silver Valkyrie wasn't used at all. It was Platinum Valkyrie Thetis. Either way trying to replace one class with another if you are using those videos may not always work. Specific class do specific things.

Trying to replace a Valkyrie with a non-valkyrie will result in two things. That unit will not have any magic resistance(most likely), and you'll be down in UP as Valkyries give you one each unit they kill.

At least previous event was generous enough with archers and I was finally able to evolve Bashira to accompany my Soma.
On the flip side Deine as a first roll was quit a catch. Now if only she wasn't so expensive... And witches smile upon me with Yuyu and Adele. And between Lynn, Ada and Cypria (all very far for the maxing, but still) I have some selection of dodge-stallers. Now how to level up them all...

One way, is to just spam around 30 SCs on charisma/stamina to fast level your team. looking at your summons I doubt you're a freemium, so if you actually spend like 30 SCs for charisma/stamina to grind instead of spending them to get 6 summons, you should be able to make future events much easier. as a guideline I'd say those charisma should go to

- EXP - Remnant vanquish 3 or flame dragon auto-complete (since they are less painful on gold consumption, especially if you're lacking gold)
- AFF - Phalanx 2 challenge quest grind (for mix of fairy & affection. low cost battle 1 if you want silver fairies instead)
- Daily - monday/wednesday daily (tuesday/friday fairy not too worth it, better to farm affection + fairy at same time at phalanx 2, and thursday daily doesnt improve your team for the time being)

Edit: I'm freemium who hasn't summoned any aside from the initial 10/11, so yeah. Only used SCs for stamina for event unit farms so far, so I'm really considering using SC to grind up team first.

It is supposed to be crazy hard. In this scenario I wouldn't consider "unfair" to use one or some of the blessings considering one of the mechanics that existed in DMM at the time they released this isn't here.

I think it would have been impossible for me to clear that map without Sophie (and with a 6/10 skill at that).

Finally came with a formation to deal with heated battle, just need to put some more levels on Karma so she can kill Horus before i need to retreat her
if let horus past that point then it's GG, she will reck my ranged units like a knife thru butter and then without healers nor archer suppot, my meelee units die too...
At this point mi Karma either dies wile landing the lasto blow or i retreat her but horus lives and kill 1 archer so i end up with 1 unit diying on me
Feels good to know i can do it still, just need to level up a bit :)

two of the 100/2 map and dark night X are immpossible to 3 star unless you have Karma or damage reduction, and I'm gonna using it. Spend 3 SC for perfect Horace -> worth it.

I used neither Karma nor damage reduction, well apart from Odette but her skill didn't really add anything. One valkyrie and two princesses was what i used for the dark nights thingie.

It's a drop completion map, so yes, you need all drops in order to get the rainbow one.

In Dark Night X, I'm doing fine until Horace comes along and shreds through any melee character who dares stand in her way... And after that disaster, the liches come along with mummy hordes and obliterate everyone else.

Guys, I need your help desperately! These units only bring me to 1 star Final Battle in the Dark Night X, and the last G maps are like a distant dream for me... I also have 50CC1 Land Strategist Uzume, and two Yin Yang Mikotos. Do you have any strategy input?

In Dark Night X, I'm doing fine until Horace comes along and shreds through any melee character who dares stand in her way... And after that disaster, the liches come along with mummy hordes and obliterate everyone else.

The key factor for me was leveling up Karma a few more levels so she could output enought damage on time before retreating
ATM i'm sitting on a Maxed skilled unit, still need 2 stars for the min-cost but right now i can rest content knowing that i could finally beat this map :cool:

Thanks for the input. I think my Karma is fine at the moment, she can take down a lich by herself. And that actually relieves me to see that you can 3 star the G map while still only 1 star Dark Night X. I'll pull some levels for my Alissa and see where that gets me. And if everything else fails, I will buy the goddess buff set. (oh and I locked my units, too ;) )

Sure is frustrating to not get the featured unit, I know that (probably forever be bitter about Solano:) But really, it would be best to concentrate on powerlevelling for now, and only spend the token effort in events. There will always be revivals, some day XD
Then, If you spend SC for full blessing, it should be possible to at least 12 star the event towards the end of the next week even with starter team.

thats because I'm too lazy to find a more precise guide on what to level, and I pretty much managed on my own by thinking and reading some of these stuff. and they're all links by the one who has been coming up with all these guide threads for us after all.
and unfortunately, as the 'veterans' have been saying, it's up to us to learn how to 'manage' to grind ourselves up to match the back-to-back events, since having breaks is not an option apparently.

ok i am 3-4 weeks in and i just burnt 60-70 SC on rolls. I started suspecting i might be gay after obtaining 6 male characters straight (valerie, crave, julian, korujo etc) then followed by a bunch of rogues. (cuterie, cecily, berna etc)
I am not sure what to think about these rolls, silver/gold with spice of black. (only exceptions are stella and bernice).

Question:
Right now who should i focus on for the event? Stella, bernice or just power level berna?

lv up berna first, she can kill almost anything in the game with luck, these lichs ogres mummies & knight can be killed 1 blow by her skill:cool: even if her skill don´t kill it, with her hp she can tank even a lich with 2 healer on her

One of the main strengths of black units, aside from the usual slightly higher (or plain higher) stats is the fact that their skills can be used as soon as you deploy them (1 sec cd). This is extremely useful in the case of skills such as instant kills or immortality (Karma), to put two examples. I would go with Berna, you won't regret it.

Edit: Show Katie some love as well. Units like her are irreplaceable in many situations.

Well... I don't actually have any SC's. I tried to get a decent unit from the premium summon.
Also I made the mistake of not reading a warning when trying to get into a stage about it using an SC.

I am following that first guide as closely as I can. I've got one archer at 32 another at 27. A witch at 17, 2 mages at 18 and 14. Katie is at 23, Phyllis is at 22. I also got the tanks Leeanne and Bernard at 20. Oh and Healer Iris at 20, and Robert at 10.
I have three-starred the first two event missions, but was unable to complete the next two.

Katie is hard to take seriously at 13 cost. She is quite good other than the fact that she has never been farmable or even gatchable (on DMM). It would be nice if she could switch places with Julian.

HOPE~! I actually came super close to 3 stars on Heated Battle G. I made only 1 single split second mistake that I am kicking myself for. I refused to dismiss my Prince when a 10% HP giant Mummy got to him. I thought he'd be able to take it down fast enough with 2 healers healing him. I had my mouse hovered over dismiss but choked.
I had my Rowanna tank the last lich like a boss while this was going on.

Had my Prince just pulled out, the archers would of finished it off. Granted I dont think Rowanna would be able to stay alive without Savior buff. This is Crossroads X all over again!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Rowanna is solo tanking lich, savior buff would have no impact on her survivability. Savior gives only ATK and DEF, but no MR.
Luckily i had Sophie, she tanks them all with 30MR <3. A true sadist xD

I used neither Karma nor damage reduction, well apart from Odette but her skill didn't really add anything. One valkyrie and two princesses was what i used for the dark nights thingie.

I just passed Dark Night X! I found that seesaa wiki had pretty decent walkthrougs.

My healer department was lacking badly as you can see from my previous post, but i still managed to do it. I had Iris, Dorca, took my sucky Echidna off the shelf and fast-leveled 40CC44 Alyssa with 100% aff. Conrad was on fire, he slaughtered Horace, the lich and a few smaller minions ;)

I also previously passed heated battle G, with no sacred crystals wasted on buffs, so with 24 stars this event is done for on my part. Feels good! And good luck to anyone still trying, may Aegis grant you strength.

In my first try the lich managed to kill my valerie (that led into a massive leak and failed misson) so i had to try again and added the bandit so i could give valerie 1 hit worth of rest and that worked

Yay I finally 3 starred Wraith Soldiers. Now I have a little under a week to get at least 1 more star.

Since I have 1 star for both Gigantic Mummy Invasion and Assault on the Capital I think thats the best way for me to go as I'm still struggling on the H difficulty stuff. Power levelling Prince/troops and CCing like mad to get my guys/girls strong enough.

Quick question. What do you think the better ranged units are for this event regarding Mummies/King Mummies? I have CCed 2 Witches, 1 archer and 1 mage. I'm looking at CCing a 2nd mage or archer next.

well. archers are probably more important and more likely to let you get 3* on gigantic mummy invasion and assault on capital I think.
you probably need to use some SCs to level up your team faster if you want a better horus.

I've been burning through SCs the past week after getting 10 stars on day one. I can't CC Bashira yet (only have 1 spare silver archer) but I have her on L50. Looks like I'll need to CC another silver archer for the meantime.

I think you have a chance to 3* Heated Battle still. I have a similar team and was able to pull it off.

Instead of Shiho I used Despera, but I think a high level Cloris would work as well too. I don't have a high level Spica, so I used Daniela. I also don't have Odet, so I had to use Cyrus.

Some things I did different that helped me. I had Charlotte tank the black goblin king instead of letting him walk through. I didn't have enough dps to kill him with everything else going on unless i held him there. Also when Horace appeared, I put a tanky unit, Conrad or Bernard(can't remember), in the space right in front of the prince to soak up some damage while everyone else killed her.

I'm not sure WHAT made me forget entirely to put my Cloris onto this (She's 50cc60 with max affection) but I guess Elizabeth pulled her weight here well enough. After all, it doesn't matter how big their HP bars are if they can't never-ending triple arrows to the face with her skill active.

Was worried though for abit since eventually I decided to throw down Bernard to block off the spot before the Prince once there were too many things not dieing immediately to the gauntlet I had set up, but thankfully he persevered. Drinks all around for Bernard!

One other thing I forgot to mention. First run through with 2 stars, the plat and black spirits dropped, and the successful 3 star run got me the gold spirit.

Another Rainbow spirit for the Odette 16 skill level engine (progress is now 7/16, the road is long and hard but it will be conquered!).

I'm...not sure what you said there, so I'll go with the two best responses I can think of from this

How Charlotte faired in the run: Nothing is more fun than watching two Magic Swords(wo)men fling their magic blades at another. I also approved the irony of it, its like watching the Charlotte/Horace debate except with less...well forum wars.

How Charlotte is fairing in lving progress: I swear ever since Shiho I've never had the luck I did then with CRing these farm event units, but at the very least I got Charlotte to 9/10 on her skill so its not the end of the world. Ada would've broken the crappy CR streak, but the lowest she got was -4. Least Rogue/Assassin units are naturally low cost anyways so its not too impactful, but every unit point reduced does help in its own way.

The key word here is 'try'. The one problem I notice at times with this game is that you can never be too certain about what you're gonna block, specially with units that only have that 1 block count. It doesn't help that if you farm one map ad infinitum, mobs look like they move alittle in their pathing, so its just up to lots of experience with that one map to know when to place units to block that one mob you needed blocked.

It is painful.

I can see why, but there is always room for that one niche unit that could prove useful in future events. Or if your name is Black Karma you get used against the big bad unit of that event.

Funny how I took the entire day's worth of charisma and stamina to go after Giovanni the other day, and I got everything that could drop from that map over the course of the day. Even the plat armor that drops at half the rate of said silver units.

So far the farming has felt rather pointless dropping lone Dragon Crystals. Then I finally get a 2nd drop... another Dragon Crystal. Whoopee.

Yes they are handy but if I really want them I can farm on Thursdays. The units I need for CC. I'll keep plugging away.

24 stars, three-starred oasis map and got both Spirit of Rainbow and Platinum Armor. Might be able to three-star the "Heated Battle G" with precise withdrawals, but why bother? Not going to ever touch Final Battle X from its one-star position either (funnily enough I felt G maps be easier to pull off the Final Battle XD )
MVP of the event is definitely Aigis. Not only her blessings are only reason I was able to come this far, but I undoubtedly won't be able to three-star the "Battle in the Scorching Desert G" without pulling and powerlevelling Bernice to be my second heavy-duty Heavy to compliment my first-ever-premium-pull Deine. Katie is nice and powerful, but in the face of king mummies and desert soldiers she is not quite tanky enough.

Things to take home from the event: powerlevelling is a must. Timing is everything.


Now lets see if I can farm a couple of Leeannes to CC my heavies...

Hi all new to this forum but been playing Aigis since before Fairy Village Crisis. I managed to get in under the wire in getting all the stars. I had spent a fair share of SCs on fast leveling and CCing 6 units (Golds / Plats) to a high enough level to finish and 3 star Dark Night X, after many many attempts, I had followed a video by Key Kii I had to add a 4th healer in order to keep Kerry up to tank Horace after I did that it was easy....too bad I didn't realize that much sooner. I tried Heated Battle G and 1 starred it, I did use the buffs so I could 3 star it and finish the event just in time it seems. I know this post is after the severs went down for maintenance (Well for me anyway).

yes pallis can be obtained from 2k summons. thursday hard mode is pretty tough but easy if you have the following: 2 50CC40+ silver+ archers, 1 or 2 healers (cc'd preferred), 1 MR tank (maybe kerry can take that role). basically, the requirement is just 2 shotting every monster that comes. if you can't 2 shot with your archers, you might want to consider doing N first. (approximately 350 atk each before prince buff for both archers I believe.)

i am doing thursday hard mode easily with 1 cc-ed archer 1 non cc-ed/1 cc-ed healer 1 non/ 1 tank/ prince buff. Max aff on healers/archers other than non cc-ed ones.

yes pallis can be obtained from 2k summons. thursday hard mode is pretty tough but easy if you have the following: 2 50CC40+ silver+ archers, 1 or 2 healers (cc'd preferred), 1 MR tank (maybe kerry can take that role). basically, the requirement is just 2 shotting every monster that comes. if you can't 2 shot with your archers, you might want to consider doing N first. (approximately 350 atk each before prince buff for both archers I believe.)
Great, she's my main mage at the moment, working on CCing Valerie.
Most of my CCed units are in the 30's, some are close to 40 like Pallis 50CC38. Also have CCed Daniela, Iris, Leeanne, Calliope.
Working on CCing Valerie, Alissa and Soma. Then Katie, Cloris and not sure who.

Yup, I did a few times today. Only doing normal and I got maybe 5 Gold armours alltogether today. Not sure if I want to chance losing on Hard difficulty
They'd be nice to have, especially if I could get more Daniela to Cost Reduce my main archer, and a few Allisa would be good too. Can Pallis be obtained from 2k summon?

Also how difficult is the THursday daily hard mode? I would like to get enough crystals for Spica.

don't waste silver archers to cost reduce other silvers. Archers are one of the most used fodder in cc. That being said , a lot of really good archers can be obtained even for free (duh , bashira is a free giveaway - unless you got kerry > whichi kinda doubt since you seem newer at this game - and spica is a 200 DC unit from trading post. Both are really good , but to cc a platinum archer u need 3 silver archers , so they are quite expensive)

PS: you can even get gold units from 2k summon (but very rarely). For example , i got a cyrus and a conrad from it. I think there was a guy posting in the 100 2k summons thread that he even got a platinum. Yes , on average , if you're lucky and got extra gold , doing gold summons can't hurt. That being said , i'd try to raise my gold piles now in preparation for awakening , since that is a very costly process.

I'm not sure if its supposed to be like that or if its an error, but wasn't Horace's skill supposed to be a 1.7 boost to attack and not 1.3 at 5/5?

It's her stats pre-patched. Her stats and skills will eventually reach the same ones as in the jp. magic fencers got a nerfing patch which also reduced their cost.

so iirc the image on the event details said that Verotte was gonna be lv40 (same as Horace's max achivable level) if you got all the missions cleared and stuff, but i saw she was already 50, not mad but confused

yes you did. if you clear all 8 missions, you get verotte at lvl 50. 3 missions -> verotte, 4 = lvl10, 5=lvl20, 6= lvl30, 7 = lvl40, 8=lvl50

Sword Enhance was updated in the JP version (1.7times maximum). I can't check the original boost rate now... Wmm... XD

Ooookay, assuming one pushed for a perfect Horace and has max affection, her skill still makes her better than Charlotte attack-wise if Charlotte is under the same conditions (max aff, max CR, max skill). Mind you the difference between the two units attack powers with skills on is minimal, but with me every point matters. If anything, assuming one has a perfect Horace, her use vs Charlotte is gonna have to depend on how well you did in Charlotte farming to get her UC down.

Which for me means Horace gets priority, since poor Charlotte is at 25 UC after cc and once I cc Horace she'll be decently cheaper than her.

Skill duration/cooldown (assuming max skill lv, 10/10 and 5/5 respectively) is still the usual though with these two: Charlotte for when she's needed (15 sec skill duration, 34 sec reuse timer), and Horace for the long-term (30 sec skill duration, 50 sec reuse timer).

I made my account sometime in February or March. Didn't really play Millennium Wars Aigis very actively or smart, until I started going hard on PeroPero Seduction in September.

I'll do my best, I'm trying to my damnedest to maximize my core team, and get these events done now since I never did when I started. I remember the event with the dark elf woman, really want that unit - I love dark elves.
But I'll be doing the Monday daily as much as I can now since I now have a team that can handle normal at the least. I'm already ahead on the new event I guess; would have had 4 maps 3-starred but I didn't feel like recalling two units in each.

Sorry to say then , but u don't get bashira anymore then if you're that old. You already got kerry. Bashira is her replacement for newer people. Older people had a week or 2 to farm DCs and get bashira from the trading post at 100 DC. But that was a one time deal. Once its gone , it remains gone. You get bashira now if you get lucky draws i guess
