    How to decided what game gets a board on this fourms.

    May be over thinking things.

    =======

    Honestly I have not been doing my job properly (Partially do to having to make an image for a map, and not being able to find a clean image... and Partially do to my old laptop dying and losing all the information I had written down... including a lot of thread updates)... but when I joined this forums it was specifically to run the Aigis section as well... not many of the English community knew anything about the game in-depth, and I wanted to help out (Still do). Was also hoping these forums would become the official if not unofficial official forums for Nutaku games)and now I'm getting off topic).

    To put it simply with all the new games Nutaku is releasing. I feel as if a new game shouldn't get its own board(or place on the shoutbox maybe). Until it has maybe 2-3 dedicated people to up keep the section. With FAQ, Relevant guides, free unit threads (you know how some games give those away via serial code), and the upkeep or well creation of that games wiki for the site. Maybe a person or two for the DMM version of they game if we have somehow who plays there(but the wiki would be towards the current Nutaku version).

    Until the group for that game is of that level on the site I feel as if they should not have a board and simply have a thread in the 'Others' board.

    =======

    Then the leaders of a given section could have a custom title so people know who to yell at to get off them bum.

    We can always work out set in stone requirements. As of now, it's just been based on what kind of game it is and how much interest it generated.

    The idea of requiring an active wiki could work, in theory.

    Can you make a subforum for the DMM version of aigis...where we can put in info and queries of the DMM Aigis only...
    this wont mix stuff and those who only play nutaku version wont get mixed up...
    we can place the current event data and other stuff there...
    along with info about stuff which we dont have on nutaku...

    Can you plzzz do this...

    As someone mentioned in some other thread a while ago, there's only a few who will actually work on the wiki despite the fact that the games might be much more popular on the boards. I'm just going to point the finger at the Aigis wiki here (though I'm not sure what's up with that wiki, maybe there's just nothing else to add to it). I don't think lack of wiki activity is sufficient to disqualify a new forum.

    Aigis and LoV are both kind of a special case.

    For one, they both already had and still have established/active wikis before our wiki ever showed up. They were also the only two games out when I made this board (I think, anyway).

    Aigis is also the most active game around here, so of course it won't be losing a forum. LoV is not so much, and still has no wiki started so not so sure what to do with that one. Not even sure how many still play it.

    I stopped playing LoV for a while, then got back into it. I don't know how many other players it still has.

    Yes, but that's why I would suggest taking into consideration forum activity separately from wiki activity. Or rather, don't let wiki activity be a case against it one way or the other.

  9. I was wanting to help with the LoV wiki if it had some form of start to it (since it kept being ignored when newer games kept cropping up), though I'm not as versed with the wiki here compared to a wikia where I could do much more from personal experience.

    The Aigis wiki here is not too great mainly since only Lafate is doing all the work (when he decides to not be lazy and do mass updating rather than do it during a break week) and is missing a lot of stuff like characters who share skills and the like. At the very least it has videos for all story missions (the ones prior to what was added) which the Aigis wikia doesn't (it's not structured in a template and some don't have a page).

    Since more are playing the DMM version of Aigis I agree with Kirito on making a sub section for it, more so it doesn't turn out like every other forum out there (reading through 700+ pages on ULMF to make sure I didn't miss vital information is not fun) and instead have it with separate threads for every event set that happens over there.
