Is anyone else having this problem?
I would say about a week ago, is when I noticed this. The chance for upgrading your Knight's Skills from 4 to 5, has dropped dramatically. Up until recently, most of the skills had about a 50/50 chance of getting increased when you combined two of the same characters. Not anymore. I just did 7 in a row, and they all failed. Counting more than just this morning, its at least the last 15 in a row that have all failed to go from 4 to 5.

Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone else encountered this? Anyone know what this is? Other skills going from 1 to 2, or 2 to 3, etc., dont seem to be any more difficult. Unless I've just had some ridiculously bad luck for the last 5 days or so, which just seems unlikely. Previously, the most I ever went without a success was 2 failures in a row, now, 15 failed upgrades.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I have trouble moving from 4 to 5 too, yes. I just chalk it up to "its tough," and thats that. Most of that stuff happens with 4* girls, the same ones I get in my box occasionally when doing the 1000-seed gacha, and I give it a whirl again. I end up wasting ~2500 gold when it happens, but yeah. I don't have the numbers or any studies to back it up, but you're not alone on the lack of success. I've been playing videogames (well before this type of game) for many years, so delayed gratification and leveling up people for a long time is nothing new to me at all. Dragon Warrior on NES will prepare you for anything.

I've always had tough luck to get from 4 to 5. Maybe you were just lucky before?

has always been something closer to 5~20% for me. i think you were just really lucky at the start.

The chance of failure probably doubles with each skill level. Something along the lines of
1->2 10% failure 90% success
2->3 20% failure 80% success
3->4 40% failure 60% success
4->5 80% failure 20% success

IF thats what others were experiencing, then maybe I did have great luck for awhile. Its strange that it suddenly turned from 50% to zero over what is now 17 attempts.

I have a 3* girl who failed ~20 times in a row (for now, because that's not finished), so yes I have the same issue.

^ This is much more plausible than 50/50. I am 110% sure it's not 50% chance every level and it does get more difficult the higher it is. I just don't know the exact percentage.
