Looks like a second discount Danchou Ticket has been added to the exchange. A free rainbow might be obtainable in a reasonable timeframe if they continue giving out medals and adding cheaper tickets.

What's a Danchou ticket?

Its a feature on the DMM version of the game. You can find it in the exchange shop. Its pretty much what it sounds like - a ticket that gives you a 5* with a slight chance to get a 6*.
The difference is - you can obtain this ticket via grinding (quite....the... loooong... grind, that is).
But in a short explanation its something like this:
Boss fights > Equipment seeds > Equipment > Turned into Special infusion points > traded for Danchou Coin > a set amount of Danchou coins traded for Danchou Ticket > A guaranteed 5*(+) ticket pull.

Got Nerine from my first Danchou ticket -> Hit Level 60 .... Only Two Purple Dragons.
I blame Epidendrum and Apricot (Christmas) for arriving first and using them up.

My luck on Nutaku continues to be overall better than DMM.
I got Poppy, Dancing Lady Orchid, & Black Baccara from 1 10+1 pull. And I got Justica, Lupin, and Chocolate Cosmos before that from crossover tickets.
Note the preponderance of Slice Types (All but one, I have most of the 5* slice types now), I am in leveling HELL.
That's my Nutaku Accounts 3rd normal 10+1 Roll 6*.

The best way to get the coin is to exchange equipments from mid-level weapon gacha right? I'm still pretty new to DMM ver.

Same here, my latest rolls on DMM are abysmal 0 gold from 100 gems + no golds from the tickets either..

That's the grindy way, best way needs money since you can get danchou medals from rolling with dmm points.

Just out of curiosity - are ticket gachas a thing on the DMM version or are those Nutaku only?
By ticket gacha I mean a 10+1 pull using FG that additionally nets you a special ticket (5* or 5*+).

Not for FG, no. It's not too unusual for people to save up 1k gems over several months. That'd be a lot of free tickets.
