    Opinions wanted: Nerine vs. Apricot

I'm having a really tough time choosing between which I want for my main unit.

    Apricot vs. Nerine:

-Both have Bloomed forms so are future-proofed
-Stats are somewhat comparable; Nerine hits harder but has less HP/Def than Apricot
-Apricot is faster, but Nerine makes the squad immune to webs/whirlwinds.

The only thing that has me leaning towards Apricot is that I am not a fan of lolis, but Nerine brings enough to the table that I am willing to overlook that. Anyone have other thoughts regarding the two that I could consider?

Both have 1.2x skill activation when bloomed.
Nerine has 4% damage reduction when guard, atk and def+22% all members
Apricot has negate damage 1 time, counter with 3.75x def, and atk+20% all members.
If only Apricot skill is +def, I'll go for her without second thought.

I generally prefer to place web/whirl ignore units in squad number two, for the simple reason that it makes it easier to plan where the squad goes on some maps which have those things behind switchnodes.

    Simple examples:
If the webs are behind the initial direction of the switchnode, then simply put squad 2 on the tent for that path and squad 1 on a tent following a different path.
If the webs are behind the second direction of the switchnode, then you can still place squad 1 and 2 both on the tent for that path. Squad 1 passes first and takes the initial direction, squad 2 (with Nerine) heads for the webs.

Putting Nerine in your first squad rules out that second option, so it's simply less versatile.

Thanks for the input guys. Still haven't decided yet which one to get, though Drip's feedback is something I hadn't considered.

Would go with Appricot in the first Team, Nerine in the Second as was suggested above.
Personally I think Apricots bloomed - Negates 1st attacks is more valuable in some maps (like WhaleShip boss fights where the Boss pest wipes your max lvl team in two rounds of AoE ultimate.)
Both are good, and you can always swap them around two depending on the map you run.
