Yes, the abilities of your team do not really matter. Whaleship has its own stats for different activations.
I am not sure but it seems that some of the ablities do add a little here and there, like Crit. Chance, Skill act chance etc, but if that is true, and by how much I cannot tell.
The only setup for WS is to stack the most powerfull girls of the necessary color into the first two teams who will do the actual combat.

edit: ok, that's just me being dumb, they are present in the mission list, I even got the FG from the 3* reward

Those are all RNG for the ship itself. It neither receives buffs from the girls in it nor gets healed by special nodes.

NOTE: The number of Development Memos required to activate the "Days Of Yore Plot" and "Days Of Yore Great Plot" stages is different each time.

For me, it stays at 10 memos for now.

I have an exclamation on the Quest button after finishing a second event map, but no completed quests on any of the tabs. Same for main and alt accounts. Anyone else have this?
