Thread: is it possible to create nutaku private server's?

No I'm not asking because I want to create one, I'm asking because this guy told me He's going to make a retro (private server) out of nutaku games, so here I am thinking to myself "is it possible to create nutaku private server?"

P.S private servers are basically copies of a game with either unlimited money or cheats

If you've the code and the resources (images, database, etc), yes, you can.

Possible, sure.
But I'd have no idea how one would get the code required for this to work. For some reason, I simply can't see nutaku/DMM handing over the source code to these games.

Yea, but remember nutaku don't own those games though.... So the other websites might just so give us the source codes

I highly doubt that. They would lose players to private servers where we can get everything for free.

It's the same thing that happened to habbo, now they regret everything

Only happens if "official" server sucks. The solution is simple, don't screw users.

they have no incentive to do so.

And all you are ignoring a tricky issue: copyright.

I can mind how Nutaku or DMM could shift from cash milker to gangsta copyright troll (as did Perfect 10 or Malibu Media)

And i can put more issues on the table (like the Transpacific agreement, it will mean bye to DMM server), but i see too hard to put a private server without any issue, even remaking the content (unless DMM got tired of Nutaku and choose to license other partners).
