Higher base stats and health, less crit, less defense (how is that even calculated, my stats are higher but I have less?).

Must be your girls. Also I have more crit on equipment, since there's no epic charm weapon for some reason.

I've got the upgrades at the point where each one costs about 96k for the next additional point. No idea how much more can be added beyond that point (probably a lot, I'm way below both of you).

I've got:
1475 charm (which is my main stat), 900 hardcore, 820 know-how
2341 - 2910 charm attack, 735 - 1303 hardcore defense, 638 - 1206 know-how defense
13731 endurance / 16908 ego, 22.48% crit

And that's with my team set up as: alpha = Abrael, beta = Metal Noemy, omega = Eugenie

Although it's basically pretty much just the alpha's stats that influence your stats to give you better battle stats. Primarily, at least. Damage and defense values are not actually randomized within a range, they're a specific value. Fights start with the lowest value indicated on the damage on defense ranges, and then after each of the other girls are added in they add specific bonuses to those values for the remainder of the fight, ending up at the top of the ranges when all three girls are active. At least that's how it's always seemed to work as far as I can tell.

I wonder how different things will be after the big update finally hits... (Should happen sometime tomorrow, apparently?)

Edit: My gear is half yellow stuff / half green stuff, by the way. Laurels, Jetpack Boots, and Dragon Paladin for yellow stuff. Magical Outfit, Seagull, and Katana for green stuff. Kept hoping for upgrades from contest winnings when I pushed for a decent spot in them, mostly got a lot of the gear for the other stats. I've got a collection of 12 pieces of yellow gear that are pretty much just for show / not actually useful for me.

It goes up to 152K at level 40. Focus on your primary stat of course, the others just add a tiny bit of defense and crit. I'm still on 77K for secondary stats so...

Have the books and gifts been nerfed, or just a bug?

They have been re-balanced, just like almost everything in the game. There's a topic with feedback and discussion on the re-balance with more info about it.

So yesterday was slow as hell. But managed to get two of my girls to affection 5.
THough they don't serve me any purpose in battle currenty but the money they collect is impressive.

Anyhow was wondering if any of you knew how to increase the affection meter of the rest of the girls.
My theory is to kill Gruntt and other bosses for their trophy to get an affection boost, but so far no luck in that area yet.

If anyone has figure it out please share the info.

Other than that I am enjoying the updates Rebalance and the economy as definitey shifted. haha But the new items are insane.

Other than that looks like a lot of time playing this to finish out the daily quests.

The secret to getting the other girls to 5 stars is simple. Wait until they actually release that content. :P

Started playing game a few weeks ago, fun time waster, not that strong yet, funny af story though.

Is it just me or are the others also getting this error message?

"The server didn't answer. Please try again.
(Err 503 error)"

I'm guessing it happens when I click fast, but for it to not appear I have to wait 2.5-3 seconds between clicks.
