Thread: Battle animation???

Has HH ever considered animating the battles scenes with some great animations to go along with the moves? The battles are a little boring now.

I agree strongly. What is the purpose of having your harem, if you cannot see your girls (animated) in battle?
It's the major disappointment I have for this game. I would not put any money until I can't see animated battles.

agreed one of the biggest failings of this game in my opinion is this!

I really don't understand why they don't animate the battles, or at least use still scenes to represent the moves. They have already a lot of scenes from the main quests that they could adapt, and the game would be a lot more interesting with a bit of scenes/animations in battles.

But it's not so easy bringing such a big feature, when we are a really, really small team.

Please don't animate the battles or at least don't turn them pornographic. The good part about this game is that most of the parts of it (except the history part) can be played in public like in a bus or other public places...

You could also suggest that the feature should just have a toggle so players can choose for themselves whether or not it shows animations. Sort of like how they added the option to choose between the 4 affection poses for each girl.

The problem is animation is CRAZY expensive. That's really a time consuming process, a single animation could take as much time as a whole scroll to draw.

Aside from "tricks" like that:



The only hope is that they'd use a software like live2D to turn their drawings into animations with minimal effort.

But in the meantime I think they should totally do something like that:
