Ar the book still dropping from the Great Pachinko?

Yes but only green or white rarity if I am not wrong (you can see what drops from pachinko under the big picture just like you can see what drops you can get from bosses)

The answer is actually: No, they don't drop anymore.
The preview from the pachinko isn't accurate and hasn't been since the start (the legendary item preview is the easiest to spot errors in, with it's lack of items), so you should just ignore it... But they didn't drop in 1000 10x spins at all, so it's safe to assume the books don't drop anymore (yes, I had money to waste). I wonder if there's a bug that prevents them from dropping for some people.

Can you explain what exactly happened? How many spins did you do? What did you get? When was it?

I gave about 2 500 000 money on great pachinko and not even one kook hasn't dropped. It started around 2. October.

I can attest to this being the case for me as well. I received all items that it showed for each 10x spin, but despite the amount of spins there was not a single book in the drops. Additionally, there were no common flowers or common chocolates either (did get plenty of every other affection item though).
