    Lets talk about items

So the only complain in this forum seems to be that there should not be items for kobans in the market - why are there even items you can not buy with ingame currency in the market in the first place.
But what bugged me ever since the introduction of HH 2.0 is that the item quality is just sooooo bad. It made a lot of sense to not make the best in slot epic items in HH 1.0 easily obtainable as it literally was the best gear you could get. Now the 'best gear' would be a level 400 single statted legendary item of your specialization - which will take like 2 years until anyone comes close to that.
It already is rare enough to get a legendary or even epic item in the shop - if you get it in the shop it is a 50% chance you have to buy it with kobans and like a < 10% chance to be single statted and the stat of your specialization. It literally makes no sense as the item will be outdated in 2 weeks maximum. WHy would anyone pay 5€/$++ for an item he wont equip for much more than a week? It also makes pachinko pretty pointless as the chance to actually get a useable item is close to zero.

it simply induces statcrippling as people use gear that is 50+ level below their current level as they dont find any upgrades - I even see some people that still use parts of the gifted set from HH 2.0 because they could not get an upgrade ever since
for me, half of my gear is 30+ level behind even though I used kobans to do 4x the 10x epic pachinko (=4*10= 40 ROLLS! quick maths). so for 40 rolls I got an upgrade on three slots and got 4 girls - for something between 100 and 150€

The main problem, obviously, is the stat distribution.
First of all - why are there even crit/HP/rainbow items after like itemlevel 50 - there is absolutely no use for a crit item as you are capped on crit anyway. I mean I see a lot of people using rainbow items, but those suck as soon as you are critcapped (which, again, is at around 40-50 at least). As I said above you only want single stat items of your specialization as everything else is significantly worse.

What I propose is the following:
    - remove pure crit and HP items completely as they serve no purpose, rainbow gear actually does not server much purpose aswell if your gear is somewhat up to date or make it so that you can not get those itemstats on items above itemlevel 50
    - give legendary items in the shop and epic or higher items from pachinko at least a stat roll that fits your specialization
    - remove koban items from the shop

there literally is no harm in doing those changes as the most reliable way to get up-to-date gear is epic panchinko. if you can not even get a full set upgrade for over 100€ something certainly is wrong, because as you level the gear will become outdated quite quickly

yes I know gear actually does not serve a purpose outside of PvP as it is impossible to lose against bosses after a certain point, but it still is such a terrible system

So you're saying the best gear should be easily obtainable?

You can still gamble for them in normal pachinko, though of course there is no point in that until we're level 400.

Apparently I haven't been reading the same forum as you. Most of the complaints I'm reading are about Affection and Haremette drop rates. To be sure there are a couple threads about items, but they are mostly about koban cost not being plainly marked. Let's be honest, items are not going to make any difference until they launch the revamp of the PvP system (maybe not even then). As for your suggestions, I totally agree with the drop HP/crit items, especially for those over level 50, again, if the stats are going to be unaffected by the PvP revamp. I really don't mind buying gear with kobans if it is an epic with my specialty as the single stat. Given how much I have to spend to level affection, I need all the cash I can get and kobans are a much easier to get now. I do admit that it irritates me to see an epic with a completely unrelated stat when I reset the market, but that's no reason to remove koban pricing all together.

I will say that any item changes ideas/request should wait till PvP/battle mechanics revamp, or at least till we will be sure there wont be any changes to how stats work for dmg/hp/defense/crit.

And just for sake of adding something to discussion, I would rather ask not for removing crit from items, but to changing how acquiring crit chance works and possibly rising the cap. There should simply be a diminishing returns like in any other crit having game thats not some simples clicker game or something. Meaning that with each stat point we would get less crit chance, then we wouldn't have a system where you from stats alone can have max crit on less than 50 level (or more now after they changed how much upgrades per level you get now). Then having actual crit chance on items like we have now could have sense. Thou the values should be lowered down a lot and maybe scaling with level could be reduced a bit too, so that we don't max crit with like 2 items at close to cap levels.

    So TL-DR:
    - Add diminishing returns for crit chance from stats
    - Increase the cap (at least to 50, 75 could work too if the PvP/battle mechanics will allow for crit to not be retardly OP)
    - Reduce crit chance on items by reducing the base and how fast it goes up with items levels

my proposed changes would not lead to super easily obtainable gear - I am level 140 and still use itemlevel 100 gear because I can not find any upgrades in the shop/pachinko. I should at least be able to upgrade my entire set every ~50 levels but with the current system there literally is no way to do it without either using a lot of ingame currency for normal pachinko that is a huge gold loss since HH 2.0 or use a lot of kobans (and even doing that, as I described in the main post, will net reliably give you upgrades)
