How important is it actually to use same element teams? I get you do increased dmg and would take less dmg, etc etc, but can you get by with just a strong team composition? I mean.. full element teams seems kinda whale'ish and unlikely for me at least.
Send me a Message and I'll explain it deeply but, it also has to do with your Eidolon boost and Weapon Grid, not counting the Hime special habilities for the short answer

You should be using all same element himes and weapons, that way all your himes get the weapon skills. There are only a few exceptions such as Sol and Amaterasu since their skills are just that good or unless you're forced to use a mix/max passive eidolon like Luxuria (which is a pretty bad eidolon in general).

Other eidolons you do get a small boost to your team using the same element too (IIRC, it's only a 10% boost) but you should prioritize using the eidolons by their activation effect instead of trying to use the same element eidolon as your team.

Thanks for the really usefull information.
Though I want to ask, what Kamihime combo team would be the best to go for with FIRE (main) and THUNDER (secondary)? Also how much attack an element can deal/receive when facing a non-disadvantageous element boss (eg: FIRE vs THUNDER boss)? Same question about DARK/LIGHT element against every other element boss.

The best [[available]] Fire SSR's are Amaterasu and Svarog; you'll most likely end up using an A Frame Def Debuff as EX Skill , Thunder are Tyr and please don't run Thunder lol

So going from Sanahtlig's explanation, what are the top 2 current Elements that can cover up both OFFENSIVE / DEFENSIVE and have the highest chance of enduring a battle against every Element excluding its weakness? From what I can tell, it seems that Water and Wind are on the top list, but what do you people think?

Actually the main reason why I choose THUNDER was to cover up for FIRE's weakness against WATER, but I can still change my secondary to WIND since it's my 3rd strongest element if necessary.

If you make Fire your main, then it's fine to make Thunder your secondary. You don't need all that much to eat Water events up with elemental advantage.

I'm stupid enough to main Thunder, and Fire needs to be my flipside. Just like most Water players need to build Wind teams.

Not to add to the salt pile or anything.. but what exactly was the point of the "Player's Choice" poll? lmao. The rates at getting the chosen is still low af regardless, and a lot of people seem to not be getting anything at all. Nutaku just wanted to cuck us, huh.
