Thread: weapon skill leveling question

Just wondering if each rank of a weapons skill level has the same additive value as the previous one. I know the base % increase for rares, SR, and SSR are all different, but is in bonus value added per rank the same for all three? For example is getting 3 SR weapons to rank 3 the same as getting 1 SSR weapon to rank 7 (+6 total either way, less mats for the 3 SR weapons)? Just finding it hard to level some weapons multiple times due to not having that many (S)Rs at once.

Skill level increase to an assault weapon provides the same bonus with each level. That's why it's best to level SR weapons to the same skill level, and SSR weapons to half that skill level.
