Thread: Quick Question about Spirit Usage.

As a f2p player you get 3 gold units Katie, Iris, and Cloris...at what point would you start using gold spirits to level them? Or other units? When you use them should you do 2 fodder 2 spirit, or some other combination?

I'm currently at 50cc60 on Katie and Iris on both my accounts, but I'm unsure about when to start using the spirits just for leveling...I have like 50-60 on each account and no additional gold units to bother using them on. (well second Iris on both accounts but one already has Marr as a third healer, and I AM leveling the second Iris on the other.)

I'd say it really depends on how much leeway you have regarding plat armors and gold fairies. I used to level gold units from 46 to 60 using 6 gold fairies and 2 plat armors, then occasionally leveled units from 46 to 54 with x2 gold fairy x2 bronze unit. you should probably look at using plat armor + gold fairy if you have enough plat armors, otherwise use x2 gold fairy x2 bronze to level from 46 to 60 (or even 40 to 60 if you want to).

edit: I recently just leveled AW bernice from 55 to 64 using x2 gold fairy and x2 bronze because I ran out of plat armors and had plenty of gold fairies.

Yeah, I never have a lot of plat armors so I was trying to find the best way to use the gold spirits. I will probably level my Cloris from 46-60 with them, and me second Iris on my other account with them. Thanks for the advice.

I use gold spirits/plat armors on gold units mainly if its a unit that I used as part of my core team. Having core team at 50CC60 is a priority if you are a free player as upgrades/replacements can't be relied upon, especially as we get events at a slower rate than DMM does. Also many event units are niche so no guarantees they will be immediately useful.

Right now my gold spirits are starting to pile up purely because all my core team gold units are 50CC60 and I'm focusing plat armor usage on Plat niche/support units and Sophie when the black spirits come.

I have found since I could do Gold Armor X the gold pours in. Even if plat armors don't drop, coupled with farming Base Scramble 2 you can level stuff fast.

Yeah, I have 50CC60 for all three golds on my 2 Plat account now, and I'm planning on doing the same for the other two golds on my Black account.

Just gonna hijack this thread with my own fairy question. For farming rainbows with Celia do I wanna be doing X or E. I heard heard E is better but that might of been before X

Why are you stealing my thread!?! ... JK JK! I was done with it, and sorry but I don't know the answer to your question.

Going by percentage it would seem that E is better than X when Cellia is awakened (2.5% per stamina vs 2.3(3)% on X) and the same (2% per stamina) without awakening.

If gunning specifically for rainbows only, E spam is best. That's ignoring need for any other fairies that potentially drop, things get complicated when you start factoring in potential values any given player would assign particular fairies given their current circumstances
