    Eastern Wind Story Mission Guide

Was hoping Lafate would post this before he went on his hiatus, so it was long overdue. Pretty sure many of you have played through the 1st phase maps already which introduced some new mobs (preta, onis, and tengu) so I don't need to go into that too much. The 2nd phase introduces the spoopy samurai skeletons (soldiers and archers) who have a power-up aura once their life hits below 50%, so watch out for them and hope you have a strong tank (like AW'ed Bernice) to defend against them. The last few maps also bring in new bosses with two forms and deal multi-target magic damage, so don't get cocky once you beat their first forms.

The later Eastern maps are the first ones that prove to be more difficult with common units. If you don't have any good premium/event units, it is recommended you 2* it for now. The Heavenly Kings are not to be taken lightly.

As for the drop completion, 3/4 are new units that you may want to get. The silver bishop will prove worthy to use in the Magic City maps if you don't want to wait for Sharon, the silver female samurai is probably AW fodder since there are better samurais out there already, and the silver monk is also AW fodder for you Rika users who don't want to continuously roll for Gina. And let's hope the monk uses silver rogues as CC material until we get more copies of him.

well , its nice that people started picking up from were lafate left. Good job mate

This should help the newer players quite a lot mate....and help even veterans prepare for whats comming. Again , good work

A bit of criticism tho - try to post videos that have more freemium/nutaku avaible units if possible. I mean , most veterans have an idea about what units were going to get and what they might do even before we got them , but newer players might get confused -and the ideea of the guides lafate did was to be as accessible to the general population as possible

Yeah I tried my hardest to get the "freemium" guides from YouTube. Lafate seems to have posted the Nasu guides, which have gone from freemium to event/premium units from this point on. After "Castle Town of Despair", the maps are simply too difficult to 3* without relying on event/premium units to tank the bosses. But if you really want me to, I guess I'll post Nasu's guides too. My goal after the 2nd phase is released is to post the ones from VP games, key kii, or poor troopers if they use common units.

Maybe you can compare both and see if his are better than sennen war's:

Keep in mind that his guides have Kerry because this was before Bashira was given as the starting premium unit. Maybe a silver bandit can replace her? Elaine will probably not do a good job. If Mischa is implemented, maybe she can help. Noel has been in his team for the extra gold passive she has. He probably got his Claire from the gold rush, something we have been missing for a long time. The rest are just event units he got.

Once the Magic City maps arrive, expect very little freemium guides after the first two maps, because things get a lot more difficult with the big golems around. And we can only hope Raichi gets implemented in TP as that is the freemium way to get a mage armor.

having event units should be no issues since after all , u cant do most maps with just the free silver/golds we get , and its assumed that most people have at least a couple event units.

Stuff like olivie tho and lianna (i know on dmm shes an event unit) , are not stuff that most of the playerbase can replicate tho.
I actually like your second guide more then the first one.
Still , ițd leave them both on atm , and let people chose.

But for future reference , trying to get the maps that have mostly freemium units (that can include event units as well) would probably be the best choice.

Other then that , i think this is admirable job , and both you and zero should get a cookie

Would be cool if kotono could make this thread a sticky

Thanks for the kind words guys. Post above updated with Nasu's guides for the final four missions and new units introduced. Feel free to correct me if I made any mistakes with the skill translations. And as noted above, their stats are based on them at level 55 instead of 50. For Nutaku, their listed abilities do not matter right now.

I can only hope for a gold rush with bernice happening cause it slowly starts hurting a lot not to have any better heavys then bernard or leeanne. Garret doesnt count :/
Thanks to the patch i was able to beat the eastern missions we have using leeanne and bernard (with the help of none cc dancer, who wasnt too necessary), but looking at whats coming and your kind words... i have no idea how the hell i should make up for bernice.
The last and only event Heavy was ages ago and is situational anyways (i didnt play at maribels time) and the only other way to get a higher then silver HA is pure luck from summoning. Sadly im on the losing side of this since 15 golds that i got (12 unique ones) none was bernice.
Good job on the Guide anyways, it does sure help.

Don't loose hope...Miranda is coming soon...
Plat Heavy Armour Miranda is one of the best farm event units of Aigis so far...she is a must have heavy if you don't have Gellius or better...
Her AW90 stats with prince buff can even tank completed Mithiril Golems..
If ever B.Iris comes to nutaku then with her 10% def buff and Skill...Miranda has above 4.5k effective HP (def+HP.)

we had 2 gold rushes and i believe we had bernice in both ( cant remember exactly). Shes such a staple pick for a heavy , that even the manga has a chapter with her.

My guess is that we have a good chance of seeing her again in a gold rush. Other then that , assuming u are freemium , try to save all your sp crystals till u can do 10-20 summons at once , and keep them for a day when the spotlight has bernice.
I got a lyla from sp , so golds are deffinetly a possibility.
If you have the gold , u can try doing 2k summons as well during that spotlight , but the chances of golds is way less.

Of , speaking of summons , if u wanna do sc summons , 3 sc summon tend to be better at getting gold units per sc spent then 5 sc. Ofc the chances for higher rarity do decrese...

I wish we had 2 gold rushes. xD

    We only had one sadly.

Perhaps they will do a gold rush or two as an apology when they take over in September. *unfounded-optimism-glasses-on*
