    CC at 30 then awaken?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if better idea to CC unit at level 30 then awaken it later, or is it better to go to 50 then CC then awaken. I asked because I saw people on Aigis wiki page talking about how awaken character are kind of like a new class, unlike CC where it is actual upgrade and stats are effected by at what point you CC. The idea is that awaken units have a set starting stat point, which is often weaker then max level cc unit, for several levels. If The the character automatically go to minimum awaken stats you could save some money and time on such a unit by cc at 30. which is normally not a good thing.

does anyone know if this is true?

Not true. If you CC the unit at 30 and later awaken it, it will be missing 20 levels worth of stats. The only case where it may make sense to CC a unit at 30 is if you plan to use it as awakening fodder. Same answer should be posted in the wiki as well, but the English one, no idea about the Japanese one.
Should we ever reach the point of guaranteed first drops, it might make sense for new players to CC their archers at 30, since a 30CC20 archer is statwise the same as a 50 non-CC one, though with greater range and easier XP requirements. And said archer is later fed to a Bashira or Spica to awaken her.

thanks for the reply, good to know. I wanted to make sure because I been waiting for to 50 cc and then awaking to get max possible stats. It had me wondering when I was seeing people mention in post below characters on the wiki page. That they where decreasing stats when awaking and it was basically like a new class. l just awakening a new unit not that long ago and saw the stat decrease my self. So it had me wondering if I was wasting time with ccing at 50. I normally only cc at 30 for silvers I am going to being using as food to awaken another unit. since I am not swimming in golds to use.

Only CC at 30 if silver for AW fodder.

AW decreases stats by a preset amount regardless of where they were, so if you did 30CC60AW1 your stats are lower than 50CC60AW1. No unit should EVER be CC'd before 50 if you plan on AW them.

Which brings up a question: Most other units, barring those with stat boosts that are built into them from the get go (Power Attack, Attack Up, etc.), do indeed loose some values on AW. So why is it when I AWed Erun she lost so little of her original stats?

Cause shes an Angel. Units lose more or less stats depending on thier class sometimes.

It's not the class itself but rather how much of an increase in stats they would have to get to hit their AW max stats. This kind of depends on their rarity as well. Sophie as an example loses a fair deal of stats compared to Erun while gold healers and PWs lose barely anything. Heck, i remember having a gold unit that GAINED stats from AW, that was rather impressive.

Yeah, Plats and blacks have a higher level cap to go along with their increased stat gains so it's certainly plausible that they could be losing more by being set to level 1 and having most of their stats be determined by base class and a few modifiers.
