    cost reduce vs class evolve

it is better to cost reduce katie and phyllis rather than class evolve them?

    thanks

Well im a fairly new player as well but, as far as I know for Cost reduction you need a copy of the same unit and feed the copy for it to work (and only the first copy has a 100% chance of working the next ones go lower in %) and Class Evolve (Or CC as players call it) is a must after reaching lvl 50 so the unit gains better stats and breaks lvl cap (ex a lvl 50 Katie after CC goes back to lvl1 but retains her stats and can grown to lvl60) but the cost of the unit goes higher

Forgot to mention that after CC some units change the skill (katie goes from 10UP to 15UP after CC)

As Kira stated the differences between CR (Cost Reduce) and CC/CE (Class Change/Class Evolve). Class Evolve is a must if you wish to make you units stronger for much harder maps. Class Evolve with most units will change there skill to the Next level up. (example: Range Up I will become Range Up II or Reinforcements II will become Reinforcements III).

Cost Reduce can be done with after CCing your units so you don't have to choose between them though to CR units you do need the exact same unit to feed into your main or a special spirit (Which are very rare). So you really don't have to choose between them, you units cost will most likely go up after CC but that is because they are becoming stronger.

Just remember once you CC you cannot undo it, so make sure you CC your unit at there max lvl being 50, never CC at lvl 30-49 otherwise your lcl 30 CCed unit will miss out of 20 lvls worth of stat increases which can hurt your unit in the long run.

the problem about class evolving is the +3 in their respective unit cost

so assuming you would start the game with 10 unit point with 1unit points / sec:

you can deploy the in 8 seconds (their unit cost is 8 and 10 respectively)
in an evolved class, it would take 6 sec more..... (14 sec)

but if you can cost reduce them.... you can deploy them as fast as possible and use skills a possible. however, they are fragile to enemies.......

so its hard to defend against rushes or im just a stupid person on this forum.....

What you're missing is that a class evolved unit is much much stronger then a non-evolved. For most early maps a lvl50cc50 (leveled to 50, then class evolved, then leveled to 50 again) archer can kill all the early enemies by her lonesome self.

In Aigis defense is substracted from attack damage, so a single strong unit that heavily outdamages an enemies defense does much more then multiple weak units which have a hard time overcoming the enemies defense.

Also, while you can class evolve at lvl30, never do that as you'll miss 20 levels of stats forever, borking an unit permanently. (Unless you just need that evolved class as a fodder later on, but thats more advanced. )

This only really applies to rushes maps, which you field specific units to counter. (multiple soldiers/low cost blockers)
You have limited unit slots for fielding in each map so you want the strongest units you can field eventually making CC common sense.

If you have jerome or other plat soldiers, you can justify your stance in a non-CC. (They start with +15 pre CC)
But katie's ability bluffs from +10UP to +15UP, that alone makes up for her fielding cost. Always CC katie.

phyllis is a filler unit which I have never used again 3months~ in after my team got strong enough. Up to you to CC her.

CC = class change, the original name used before it became CE when they ported to nutaku. They used to have english content on dmm.

Talking to an unregistered, is like talking to a constant fart of air.
It stinks and you don't even know if its the same person.

So at least give yourself a name.

Yes where it is true CCing does add additional UP to your stronger unit, if your worried about preventing rush attacks there are other units that can hold off rush attacks while using their low cost to your advantage. For instance Elaine and other valks have a very low cost and valks are great units to have to in my opinion for holding of rush attacks while building up your UP to prep much costly units to be deployed that and valks give most if not all (depending on whether they are CCed or AW) of their UP back once you take them off the battlefield.

Everyone plays Aigis different so if you want you can leave Katie and Phyllis un CCed and take advantage of their low cost if it makes you feel better. In my opinion I wouldn't worry about it, I find it rare that My AW Katies cost (which is the Max 13) is an issue as I have other units to play should I need to stop rush attacks and you will need more powerful units for much harder maps and CCed/AW Katie can be a blessing on those maps.

Not sure why this is even a question. Sure, it's nice to have low cost units but they get a LOT stronger when you have evolved them. It CAN be useful to keep like 1-2 units un-CC'd at max CR to deal with some situations, but this is not something a new player should worry about and you should just evolve your units once they hit level 50.
They will be stronger and thus able to handle the maps that come later in the game, which the un-evolved units will not be able to.

And if you need a low-cost soldiers, you can always use min-cost bro(nze) ones.
