doesn't change the fact that they have no male events , yes ? Random question to the people here : wouldn't a male event be refreshing once in a blue moon? Would you people try to max him if he was a very good unit? Or just never bother with him just because he's male ?

You know, lolix, this is a hentai game. Sex sells. Just look at Lafate who outright refuses to have male characters in his team. I don't really think a male event would be as well received as a female one (well unless it's a trap, those are great!).

That aside, damn we have missed a lot. Come on devs, step it up already. Many of the characters we are missing have been greenlit for the love of god!

They could just state it is a trap from the start. Just have the trap use "boku" and complain how everyone thinks he is a girl all the time. Event itself is to become more manly, but in the end he gives up, accepts his fate, and embraces cuteness~~

Well, crossdressers in general tend to be called traps nowadays because their looks are entrapping. But for clarification i obviously meant a crossdressing/androgynous male character. Something like Aikawa from Prunus Girl. Everyone knows he is a guy and likes dressing in girls clothes, but they do not care because he's cute ^_^

...great manga that for the records, do recommend it.

In terms of raw numbers comparison:

    DMM:
    174 units
42 events (38 without subjugation + drop increase)
    7 revivals
    9 story missions
    Awakening

    Nutaku:
    132 units
    18 events

Also a couple of patches as well yea?

Units wise we aren't missing much of anything. We can live without any of the event units listed there. Most occupy a certain niche or already have better or equal alternatives.

I personally would like to see us having Misha (she does makes some missions easier due to her affection bonus being +ATK and can pretty much replace Elaine in any situation), Dancer Waltz (having a min-cost + max skill Dancer will be quite useful as the game progresses), Claire (Gold units in general are questionable to Awaken due to the cost of Awakening a unit, but Claire is actually quite useful. Gold units are cheap to max level and Claire gets a powerful passive after Awakening. If we do get her as much as DMM, she will also be min-cost as well), and Moldevort (free Platinum Mage with a useful skill). All, of course, subjective for each individual.

One serious biased want is Aisha. Aisha best unit period. She is an absolute blast to use. Just recently Awakened her and still can't get enough of her. Now just debating if I want to Awaken her skill or not. Full screen nuclear blast vs. lower cooldown, tough choice. We will never ever get her here on Nutaku though, unfortunately

Something else we miss is a ton of Sacred Crystals from all the missed events (and for those who missed the events that are the subject of a revival, even more Sacred Crystals) which are quite important for free players. Since we have the advantage of seeing the progress of DMM, we can easily judge which event units we don't want/need and focus our Sacred Crystal expenditure on better units/events. Also events means silver unit farming. There will always be a need for silver units - whether for class evolution or for awakening.

As for the Desert Story Mission set, I think this is pretty important. The Desert missions are all significantly more experience productive for your Prince and your units. From here on out, all new Story Missions will have better EXP per Charisma for your Prince than the previous mission up until the final one (which rewards you with the Prince Awakening title). These missions also introduce new Bronze units with the passive 'Veteran's Teaching' which boosts their given experience value when used as fodder. All these also missions drop 6 units total and majority of them with a 4 Bronze 2 Iron split. Serious unit experience. The only downside: very low gold per charisma reward. Coupled with how fast you will be leveling your units gold will seriously be an issue - especially for newer players and even some freebie veterans.

Overall are we missing much? Mmm... Not soooo much. Depends on how much one weighs the missed items. I think missing out the Desert missions and the Sacred Crystals from missed events to be quite big. Would love to spend my Charisma more efficiently and have more free Sacred Crystals to throw around to prepare for Awakening. (Also willing to spend thousands for Aisha)

    - - - Updated - - -

Side note: the longer we delay Awakening (until the point where 100%'ing events is very difficult to do) the better. ESPECIALLY if you are a free (even low spending) player.

    Awakening is a SERIOUS grind.

Awakening requires a unit to be MAX level with MAX affection.
Orb specific missions cost 90 Charisma to do.
Orbs have average to below average drop rates.
Platinum+ and non class-evolving units (EX: Princess) cost multiple (up to 6!) Orbs.
Specific class Orbs will only drop from a single day per week.
The Awakening fairy, Nias, costs 100 Demon Crystals.
Awakening also requires 3 CC'd Silver or 3 Gold units (mix of the 2 is acceptable [EX: you can Awaken with 2 CC Silver + 1 Gold]).
After Awakening a unit, that unit is actually WEAKER than before Awakening for the first ~30 levels (class dependent)! Need to have fodder units prepared for post-Awakening.
Also events are always a threat! Balancing where you spend your Charisma and Stamina will slow your awakening progress.

I personally had a run of 11 Orb mission attempts before an Orb I wanted dropped. And for the specific class I wanted Awakened it was only 1 of 3 Orbs. 990 Charisma over the period of 3 weeks (because, remember, only specific Orbs drop on each day!) for just 1 of 3 Orbs. Yeah, it can really suck if you are unlucky. So it basically still took me a month to Awaken a unit whom I already maxed, with all the fodder prepared, and the gold banked because of RNG (and me not wanting to spend my SC).

This is why I want Awakenings. I want to be pressured, I want to be forced to decide between options with more serious consequences. I have over 2,5M gold and 500 DC saved for awakenings. But it will never come at this rate

However, you are right regarding that it might be beneficial to new players that this feature is delayed even further. But if we consider this, we would also want to consider that each and every day new players join the game. At some point in time awakening has to come. I don't like how Nutaku is treating this game compared to others (they even already had revivals for games that they released after MWA!). I don't know what is happening here, but to reach the point to where they also forget to announce the current event in their Facebook page for one day is... troubling to say the least.

I would be satisfied with the new set of Story Missions for the time being, to be honest. My primary objective is to reach level 192.

So while we're making lists, let's talk about what advantages Nutaku does and doesn't have over DMM.

In the past year, what have devs dropped the ball on?
-Missing "approved" units (the arguments have been done to death, but just to put it on the list)
-Awakening (again, just to get it on the list)
-Constant breaks between events, including the six-week fiasco (see above)
-Barely any apology SCs for said breaks (etc.)

-Making Liana gacha (this annoys me so much that it needs to have its own separate point)
-Late Gold Rush (we got one gold rush in the time it took them to get four?)
    -No revival or 1.5x events
-Late level milestones (it took us how many months for us to get the level 10 Iris?)
    -Lack of Trading Post rotation
-Implementing revival/post-AW mechanics for first-time events (as far back as Dragon Invasion where Dragonewts did magic damage instead of physical damage, up to the current event with the swimming sahuagins' faster DPS)
-Certain units are stuck pre-buff (gonna need some help with elaborating on this, since I forget the specifics)
-No serial codes (possibly minor gripe, but most of Nutaku's other games have used this feature; you'd think the least they could do is give us codes for some gold units)

Now, what have devs done for us?
-Trading Post to start with (probably didn't make much difference since a lot of people don't have Chydis)
-Not counting the break in between, back-to-back Dragon Invasion events (difficulty of the event aside, we got Anya/Echidna a LOT sooner than expected)
-Early Bashira shrine change (though some would complain about this since they didn't get to farm the DCs needed fast enough)
-Early autocomplete (though we had to request this HEAVILY before it finally came)
-Barracks (came with autocomplete, very much a welcome addition to most veteran players)
-Updated goddess buffs (wasn't requested and came during a no-event period, but it made clearing War of Magic easier and helps lower-leveled teams compete in post-AW events/maps)
-Level 300 (again, pointless, seeing as most users have yet to hit level 200)
-x2 speed toggle, continuous combine, updated sprites, etc. (various inconsequential updates)

Anyone else have anything to add?
