    About Spirits...

I don't seem to recall anyone making this point, but it seems to be that a spirit provides a larger multiplier for not only being of the same rarity as the units it's being fused with, but also the same rarity of that which it is being fused into. I was noticing that gold spirits were more effective as a boost to my gold units than silver spirits, despite the fact that I was fusing them with copper units, so they -should- have been the same. But I don't have enough spirits to test out this on other rarities anymore.

Most notably I'm curious about Platinum Armors. Are they best used on platinum units then? Can someone confirm this? A Plat armor should -normally- be worth 8000, but on a plat unit is it a higher multiplier?

Ok i see you are a bit confused, let me try to explain

Lets call your units MAIN unit and FOODER, you use X rarity fairies when you give FOODER to you X rarity MAIN unit

So lets say i have a silver archer i want to level up (Soma) so give her 1 silver fairy, that rises the gained XP by 2x, another silver fairy will be 4x (2x for each fairy 2x2 = 4) and 3 silver fairies will be 8x ( 2x2x2 = 8)

IF you want to give her (Soma) another rarity of fairy (bronze, gold, platinum, black) they will only rise the XP by 1.5x each, instead of 2x if it was a silver one so 1 fairy is 1.5x, 2 fairies will be 2.25x (1.5 x 1.5 = 2.25) 3 fairies will be 3.375 (1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 = 3.375)

Regarding the platinum armor, no, it doesn't matter to whom you feed it, it will always yield 1000 XP base, the bes use for those armors is using it with 3 corresponding fairies so you get 8x 1000 = 8000 XP on that unit

    ...

I hope i made it clear... to some extent

A platinum armor isn't a type of fairy, he's just a blob of experience.
When used with three fairies with x2 modifiers (so black fairies for black units, gold fairies for gold units) nets 8,000 EXP

So it doesn't matter who you use the Platinum armor on, but it does matter which fairy you use, if it matches your unit's rarity.

See, what I was getting at is if there was some kind of increase to the multiplier of the platinum fairies if used on a platinum unit to go with the plat armor. Plat armor is always 1k base, I know this. Fairies give 2x if same rarity, 1.5x if diff rarity, I know this.
HOWEVER. I was fusing 2 copper heavy armors into my Katie, a gold unit, and was getting a 4x total bonus with two gold fairies in there. Next time I get gold fairies I can screenshot it and show you, or you guys could get in game and look at what I was talking about.

Copper units with two Gold fairies should -not- have been 4x'd, they should have been 2.25x'd, right? But I got 4x exp anyway. The only thing I could think of was that maybe the gold fairies had a bonus due to being the same rarity as the unit they were being fed into.

Maybe I might be getting confused or the wrong idea, but from that part I quoted from your post, I imagine you used 2 Iron units to upgrade Katie, a GOLD unit, in which you also used 2 GOLD fairies. Fairies give the x2 multiplier in Unit Combination WHEN the unit you've chosen to train (so to speak) is of the same rarity as the fairies. In this case, you got the multiplier because those 2 Gold fairies are of Gold rarity as well as Katie.

As for Platinum, they will always give the 1000 exp as you said, that's their normal value. When combinaed with three fairies of the same rarity as the unit you're making the combination it will go to 8000 points, there is no bonus multiplier just because it¿s a platinum armor.

Katie is a gold ranked unit.
So two Gold fairies will net x4 boost
Then the two copper fodder you put in have their total EXP value increased by x4.

Sorry guys, I pulled a stupid.

I was under the impression, and kept reading your posts as if fairies had to match the units being fed into the main unit, not that fairies had to match the unit being fed. So when I actually had the -real- thing happen, I thought that it might have some kind of property of doubling up on itself. I freakin' goofed.

    ^ should answer all.
basically, just make sure you ONLY use 3 fairies of the same rarity to combine into a unit of the same rarity, when using plat armor. (aka make sure you get 8000 exp from that combination. Otherwise, don't use plat armor)
