So I've used the very scientific method of "stare at the money roll in with a stopwatch" to gauge how efficient some jobs are. Here's what I found. Keep in mind these numbers are not going to be super accurate, but they should give a general idea of how the jobs compare to each other.

All jobs maxed, Prestige Boost x468.98, Store Boost x8192

Fast Food: 116,279,070 in 5 seconds [2 blocks]
Computers: 1,923,076,923 in 5 seconds [6 blocks]
Restaurant: 217,391,304 in 5 seconds [3 blocks]
Zoo: 312,500,000 in 5 seconds [5 blocks]
Lifeguard: 96,153,846 in 5 seconds [2 blocks]
Hunting: 5,882,352,941 in 5 seconds [6 blocks]
Cleaning: 370,370,370 in 5 seconds [4 blocks]
Casino: 114,942,528,700 in 5 seconds [1 block]
Art: 5,000,000,000 in 5 seconds [1 block]
Sports: 14,285,714,290 in 5 seconds [2 blocks]
Movies: 312,500,000,000 in 5 seconds [7 blocks]
Legal: 57,142,857,140 in 5 seconds [12 blocks]
Slaying: 100,000,000,000 in 5 seconds [10 blocks]
Space: 1,470,588,235,000 in 5 seconds [10 blocks]

So in terms of raw speed, the top 10 best jobs in order (when maxed) are: Space, Wizard, Movies, Love, Casino, Slaying, Legal, Sports, Hunting, Art

In terms of efficiency (which I got by dividing the money by the time blocks required), the top 10 jobs in order becomes: Space, Casino, Wizard, Love, Movies, Slaying, Sports, Art, Legal, Hunting


Computers is actually pretty decent at #11, being about 1/3rd as efficient as Hunting. The other jobs, understandably, are the worst of the lot. The absolute worst job is Lifeguard, but I remember it maxing relatively quickly, so it may even out before you hit the end-game. The Zoo job is the 3rd worst (2nd is Fast Food), making it's relatively-high block requirement very lame, but unfortunately getting it pretty high is a requirement for Bearverly.

Some jobs reduce their time block cost as you level them up. Some are only reduced at the final level.

Port's stats are all for max level jobs.
