it might be a good time to get in since there's a limited time starter set, but it's better to go through the original Mobage ecosystem, because you do get a lot more directly from the developers in terms of gifts, while you're at the mercy with DMM on their ecosystem.

when i see post comparing gbf to khpr i can see why it is said, but gbf is more than just charge bar, overdrive, ougi management etc. as those are just combat mechanics. granblue is considered successful in large part because as you mentioned the ecosystem for gbf is strong. in magnafest period twitter generates dozens of raid tweets every second.

for christmas, gbf gave each player
4k Crystals - enough for 13 premium pulls
Guaranteed SR or above ticket - another pull, guaranteed sr or above
100 Half pots - 25000 minutes of AP regen/417 hours of AP regen/17.3 days of AP regen
150 berries - 3000 minutes of AP regen
100k Rupees - decent amount of money
2500 CP x2 - a lot of class/job enhancement material, several months worth
Damascus Ingot - to uncap ssr weapon, usually takes months to farm just 1
Silver bar - same as above but more common, only for sr
Kongou Crystal (Sun stone) - to uncap ssr summon, usually takes months to farm just 1 and active in guild war events
10 gold merits - character/weapon uncap mats
3 Blue sky - character/weapon uncap mats
Exp book (gold moon one) - enough to level character to near max for 4*

all that in one christmas gift. considering how stingy nutaku games are because of smaller playerbase, a gift like that is very hard to consider possible and it is sad to predict kamihime coming anywhere near close.

also, granblue has decent game balance even if fire complains about being underpowered nonstop. the larger of playerbase, the more important balance is or people start leaving. i will already be happy if kamihime has as much balance control as similar scope of game like aigis.

Got SR Beelzebub, so finally swapped my SSR Eidolon for SR Kamihime.
Personally though... I get a lot of Dark element pulls.... while I wana roll with Light-something combo Damn, Dark Side is trying to tempt me all this time.
