yes, they rebooted faction wars mid-week.

but teeeeeeeeechnically, if you had 4 tickets saved up plus hit every 12 hour mark relatively well. you could have played 10 games.

I was only off play 3.5 hours when the (unannounced) update hit. that's what I get for missing yesterday's ticket by several hours.

So, how does this event work?
Do you really only get here if you are in the winning faction?

Seems that way.

it shows first place getting a "Special Event Chest", 2nd place getting platinum, and 3rd getting a gold.

so unless the 2nd and 3rd chests also give out the event stuff, I would assume it's only inside the event chest, which is only 1st place.

Wtf.... This is now the second time in 3 weeks, that the game has reset my faction war participation mid week... There is no way I can now make up for the 6 lost participation games, and will now not get this new girl...


The last time it happened, I never got a respond from the game devs, so I don't expect one this time either... But man, will this game be on the tell friends to stay far away from list.

They reset the whole week including the end time. So it's possible.

It just reset today, so the only thing you lost was last half-week's, you still have 6 days to get ten battles in for this week. Bit of a stretch if you don't have any tickets "carried over," but not quite at the impossible line yet.

So something I noticed, if you "Save and Exit" a mission and change your squad loadout then return, you will have access to your new squad's abilities instead of your old loadout. Non-commander abilities used are still counted as used though, meaning if you bring a Captain with "Deal 6~10 Damage", use her and then bring another Captain with the same/different ability, the ability is still registered as used and using it will still cost crystals. However, passives will be changed.

This means that you could bring characters with good actives, use them and then swap them out for characters with better passives, enter a mission and then leave to change the squad to a more suited one (e.g. swapping the spawn tank/etc during the bomber mission) or if you're patient enough, play a mission and keep swapping in between to have the most advantageous position everytime (e.g. Swapping to use Karina Commander when attacking with tanks, ending a turn with a Captain that generates War Funds, buying with Dianne Captain that gives discounts to all units).

Apparently abusing the above can cause a bug where you gain War Funds each time you return from "Save and Exit", I didn't notice but suddenly I had 50,000+ War Funds on Turn 3.

"Save and Exit" War Funds bug fixed, not work anymore

Karol's passive, the chance to restore hp to vehicles, what counts as a vehicle? Bikes, AA and medtrucks?

EDIT: also, after the first go at a mission is there a reason to go back and gold-rank them all?

I just got kicked out of my faction for the 6th time. It seems whenever I log out and back in, I'm kicked out of my faction but I don't get back my tickets they're gone.

Same thing just happened to me. I burned 3 tickets yesterday, and when I logged in today it made me choose a new faction and start over. No way I can get to 10 now.

So, just logged out and back in. The game gave me the preregistration bonus of 250 crystals. Which is enough to by 4 tickets.
