mononofu - how do u fight vs reflect enemies?

everything has some form of reflect. my lv 50 master strategist almost 1 shotted herself in daily world boss with ~4k hits to 5 enemies, ~2500 reflect and she has 2800 hp. no amount of healing can keep up with that damage to self.

wondering if i should just not use her and use something that is single target and has %heal bonus

that or make her into a high dmg suicide general

Against world bosses, you just accept that you'll lose most battles and do as much damage as you can before you die. A general who does 100k damage to a world boss and dies of reflect damage in the process has done her job. When you see someone get a score of 30 million or whatever in world bosses, he didn't do that in one battle. He's burning a bunch of fast battle tickets to do dozens of battles in the half hour allotted.

It is possible to keep generals up a little longer with large amounts of lifesteal, such as Miyamoto Musashi's skill. But that necessarily comes at the expense of dealing more damage.

If the problem is corsair enemies reflecting a lot of damage in the campaigns so that you can't get an A rank, that takes lots of healing. The healing lab skill also helps here, as it doesn't change the course of the battle itself, but does lower the threshold of what it takes to get an A.

That's not very much. Getting some good accessories and leveling them up makes a huge difference in your general power. Higher max HP also means higher attack and defense, making your accessories your most important gear. Temp just won daimyo in part by trotting out a group of generals with over 7000 HP each.

If you've got a three-star Master Strategist, then either you're a whale or you've been playing for quite a while. If the latter and your generals only have 2800 HP, you're focusing your resources in the wrong place.

The original jintai drum from daimyo world bosses is a decently powerful accessory that is not very hard to acquire and not that that expensive to level up. It's not what you want at endgame, but it's a nice temporary item until you get a strong enough team to get the chapter 5 campaign gear.

guessing by whale you mean someone who drops alot of money in?
i have only put 5$ in and have been playing 2-3 weeks. just got lucky with a jade ticket for her and UR upgrades from plat spins.
(edit:just looked up whale, i have played mmos but not socially, most likely why i haven't run across that term before.) so not a whale, just insanely good luck

i have my wpn and armor maxed to 33 (current lvl) so i guess legend book of han and zen flute will be next

Yeah, $5 definitely isn't a whale. I hope that's the monthly subscription, which is the right way to spend that $5. The longer you've played, the less luck it takes to have high star UR generals. A three star that fast on only $5 is pretty lucky, though.

A whale can get the high star UR generals much faster because, for example, with last week's "koban kickback" event, if you drop something like $150 on the game and then spend 20000 Koban, it would give you, among other things, a jade ticket, two universal EVO cards, and a UR EVO card. That's a three-star UR general right there. Few people are willing to drop that sort of money on the game, though.

As to the substance of your comment, ranking up accessories at the blacksmith is far more important than ranking up weapons and armor. For Sanada Yukimaru in particular, it's not the reflect damage that is the problem. It's that your party is simply too weak. A stronger party would let you blast through and ignore the reflect damage.

When you don't need an A grade or better, about the only reason to worry about corsair reflect damage is if you have a very high single-target damage general (basically Tiger of Kai or Sanada Yukitaka) and don't want to waste a bunch of troops by doing five times as much damage as your target has in troops. I pull my Tiger of Kai out of the lineup when fighting some weaker opponents just to avoid that. That's not your problem yet.

The other notable PVE case where reflect damage is a problem is the Uesugi Kenshin opponent on the Saturday dailies. That's due to Uesugi Kenshin's skill, which all five of the generals have. To handle that, I have to swap some generals between my A team and my B team to go in with just tanks and archers, and not do that much single-target damage.

Handling reflect damage in PVP is a different beast entirely. You don't seem especially worried about that yet.

the 5 was the monthly sub, for 3000 kobans for 5$ seemed like the best deal. have a bunch of UR generals but single star so i dont use them. currently my line up is 4 star takeda shingen of kai(ghost ninja), 2star toyotomi hideyoshi(S) (elite guard), 1star hattori hanzo masanari (ghost ninja), 3 star master strategist (elite marksman) and 2star hohjo ujiyasu (commando trooper).
farming the beach event for SSR tokens and souls (now fruits as well)
wondering if i should switch to the east characters for samurai and swordsman for single dmg abilites and chance to heal

but i need to upgrade my accessories, they are only lvl 20ish but cost a fortune to upgrade, 50k and 40% success.. seems more like 20%, sometimes i only get 3-4 skill ups before i need to wait
