Unless someone states that it's an opinion and not factual reasoning, then I will believe it to be the latter, which in this case is and what they posted is completely wrong. But if that's how you see it, then take it as you will.

It was obnoxiously P2W. The pool of girls (and the specific variants of) that the various regular tickets drew from basically never updated for most of the game's life here.

I couldn't even figure out what the game was really supposed to be about. So many different upgrade materials everywhere. And was the battle system really just the girls' still-arts repeating a bunch of quotes at each other as health bars went down or something?

Super P2W and the rewards for playing were crap, not to mention the time slots for pvp that are a pain in your life if you want to achieve any of the miniscule rewards it offered.

Only room for 1 game with the type of predatory business model that capitalizes on victims tendency to feel obligated to spend more than they can really afford because their guild/friends/clan depends on them?

Eh, I found a way to get really good at DP without spending a dime. For some reason I couldn't do the same in IWZ...even though it's the same game just with a different skin. But I still quit DP over the timed PvP.

    The game was badly designed.

    - Strict PVP timetable didn't work for me. Just missing a few days, your peers would leave you behind. I have another life behind the monitor too you know.
    - The "helping system" (forgot what it's called) was basically hell without any restriction. You won't even have a chance if you're a bit slower.
    - Unlocking the h-scenes was a HUGE chore. Just hunting the mats for one girl required you to put extensive amount of hours... and luck because I suck at roulette.
    - Heavy community-dependent. Guild management. Guild battle. The quest/"helping system". The game required a lot of people to be active for it to work. And who are these people? Free users. Not the whales. Actually the whales would eventually quit too if there're no free users around because where's the fun in playing a game stricken by inactive users? And why would free users quit? The rewards for the task were not rewarding enough to keep you playing.

TL;DR The game was a huge turn-off for me. So I quit. And I think this is the same for others too. No more playerbase = dead game.

This is just my opinion. Please don't roast me.

Agree to all points, just add events being nearly useless, grindy and had rankings for baiting whales again.

Japan people seem to like this bound schedule thing on games (playing PSO2 was hell), which is a huge annoyance to me and probably several others.
