In Dragon Providence your main character uses jobs. There are many jobs that you can switch between whenever you want, however you can only get xp for one job at a time. Changing gender just alters appearance, it does not affect the job or the job level. You unlock boss jobs by collecting boss cup from GCB Boss and Revival Battle.(but last relased boss in revival is still Gilgamesh)

All jobs get to level 20 and when multiple jobs are maxed you unlock other jobs.
