To earn money in the game you have to allocate energy to businesses. You start with sellling your porn videos in a Bazaar and subsequent distribution channels have to be bought with money in each incarnation and start anew at Level 1 after a reset.
A little side income can be generated by winning challenges. You get 20 minutes worth of income of all businesses with ranked and 2 minutes with friendly challenges.
To increase income in a business you have to level it up. Either by unlocking scenes from the corresponding girls or by producing films and selecting the business of your choice to sell the films there.
In general the higher businesses are better at everything. But depending on your available energy and the level of the buildings this can change. As a rule of thumb, you should level the building with the highest energy cost you will actually have active.
Money income is directly affected by your total bonus (the number beside the alarm clock). So, if you double your bonus you double your income. Getting time warp bonus and reset bonus will tell you the increase in %.
The Level requirement for each new Level increases. The "effective" Level for leveling each building seems to be the actual Level plus its number. So Lvl 40 Bazaar is as hard to lvl-up as lvl 31 WWW. But since the game rounds all numbers, this is hard to tell. You typically end up near lvl 20 if you complete the first corresponding girl and from there it takes about 2k to reach the next lvl. The needed exp seems to grow by ~10% each lvl. The maximum level is 50. The overall increase in money income via building leveling over several days is less than a x2.
