Frezia is a Supporter, MP Healer class, so you won’t need to worry about being economical with MP consumption with her around. An essential member whenever you’re expecting a prolonged fight (e.g. Forbidden Trials).
Because the strength of Philosopher's Ballad is based on her level (LV x 2.5 for I, LV x 3.5 for III), even without job evolutions she's valuable.
Frezia also functions as a Debuffer; capable of inflicting numerous status ailments (Toxic, Darkness, Paralysis) and can debuff Attack and Defence Power.
