Quick question about CC

Is it possible to skill up and cost reduce while doing the CC?

For example, let's say I wanted to CC Daniela and used another copy of Daniela to fill the silver archer slot.
Would that have a chance to skill up/cost reduce?

It would not. You can only CR/SU while combining, not evolving.
