Thoughts on upcoming memento unit?

I feel like she can take the same slot as a witch. Instead of slowing with attack, she slows with skellies.

Its not wrong, but more or less Necromancers are for their token skeles that can be used to be throwaways for whatever problem is on the map. In the case of the Eastern maps, its the bloody tengus.

Unless you are the black necromancer who gets true damage attacks, thats pretty much the use for them in general.

I don't often use mikotos tokens other then for the tengus and to kill slow something for a sec that would 1 shot a unit. I'm interested to see whose tokens are stronger

Yeah, necromancers are mostly used for their tokens. A bit like how Karma is used for her immortality skill. The tokens do not count if they die so they are placed to slow down bosses. It's quite good for bosses with hard hitting slow attacks since they will just completely stop them while they're charging up that next attack.

They're not witch replacements, they're additions if you want to completely stop something so you have more time to destroy it. Also good as targets for missile attacks if the enemy has any hard hitting such ones.

Yes. The event will start on the 12th of July. Event after that would be the valkyrie farm one, sometime in August.
There was a post in ulmf about it, there should be a link in the potential events thread.

It may be on par with mikoto, but did you take into account that mikoto is doing aoe damage? Also the fact that she assassinates targets below 10%ish hp :)
