Which Unit to Awaken?

Hello dear community.
I've been lurking these forums for a month now and would like to finally ask for advice from the more experienced members.
I got hooked on the game at the beginning of June and since I've not been involved in any actual events - not counting spectral march - I was quite limited in good unit choices so I decided to dump a fair amount of money to somewhat catch up unitwise to somewhat an acceptable level.
This week I awakened my 1st units and after reading some more posts/guides I'm starting to second guess some of my choices.
So here seeking advice on which unit to awaken next.

I also have Berna and Saki, but I haven't leveled them up at all so far.
I've awakened 3 units that you can see and planning to awaken Adele and Sasha tomorrow once I get their orbs. Should I be Awakening some other unit instead?

In one month :eek: that's some serious money.Back to the topic at hand though, this team ain't gonna be able to get a perfect unit at the next event(but I guess you could make it to the 6th map with some modification compare to the guide).Adele should be a priority since her AW give your whole sortie 10% HP, next in line would be either Nanaly or Minerva for combat use, Sasha is rather good as well but not as much as Nanaly and Minerva.

Adele is indeed a good unit to aw. SO is nanaly , but i'd prioritize olivie first (maybe even elizabeth considering the next event) simply because she's your only duelist , and i'd rather have my sole duelist be great then have 1 of my already really good ranged units become better. She also has a good AW.
Elizabeth is also a great unit to awaken (especially for the next event) since she also gains extra damage vs undead after AW. Added to her already considerable damage, she becomes on of the best units in the game vs them. Add a dancer near her and she destroys most enemies. And her aw is decent for a VH.


That being said , it would be a lot helpful if we saw the rest of your team. I am also somewhat wondering why you have a julien in your team at max cost , as oposed to a katie. Katie is a better soldier assuming both are at full cost. Also , if you really wanted to awaken a soldier , katie would've been a better choice then both julien and zenobia , right now. In the future zenobia becomes a lot better , but right now , i'd rather take the defense increase for all your units then a chance to do damage to all units around her. Then again , 2% is not that much , and zenobia can actually do some dps , so i guess it's a coin toss depending on how YOU preffer to use your soldiers. I generally use them as batteries , so they don't see much fight , and buffing hte team just by being in party is an added bonus to me. Still think katie is a better tank even with 200 hp less.


Other then that , i dunno. I think you will need at least 1 or 2 more healers for the next event cc-ed. Hell , you might even want to awaken fedora if you lack any other healer option

.....olivie ? 30 mr ? 100% block chance ? buffs spica and other elfs even more ? And i'd rather awaken elizabeth before Nanaly , because she also gets range and stats , but she also does extra damage vs undead. Can you guess what's our next event ?

It was a questionable decision tbh but I have a weakness and that's splashing a lot of money on useless things <.<.

Focusing on Nanaly for the past week caused me to neglect Olivie. The reason I haven't got Katie is a really stupid reason and that is me being an absolute newbie and CCing her at lvl30 as soon as i got her not knowing the consequences. Otherwise I would've definitely AW'd her instead. I have a bunch more Healers but as I've had a limited amount of time to play, I've only managed to level 2 of my healers. I'm planning to level a 2nd copy of Iris along with Robert while using the rest of them as fodder for lowering the UP.
I also seriously considered Elizabeth for AW as it would be perfect for the next event I'd assume but I'm unsure as of yet where and how to utilize her. Add in the fact that I still need to level her up and it becomes even more of a hassle.

My only MR "tank" atm are Olivie and Themis. I could awaken Themis quite soon if need be, but Olivie on the other hand would take me a while.

you got some of the best duelists in game mate. Olivie is great with her only flaw being low hp. She has 1 of the highest dps , MR , and 1 of the best skills possible for a duelist.

Lyla is probably the highest dps duelist in the game , while themis is the also a great duelist , especially vs monsters that inflict status effects like paralyzing. She's imune to that.


Besides that u have some interesting golds as well , lika zola. She's so and so right now , but she's going to get better in the future. Ofc the gold mages are okay assuming u lack other plats , and u will need at least 1 more in the future cc-ed



Another unit i would really advice u to raise is marnie, assuming u dont have waltxz. Well marnie will get a better SAW anyway. Dancers are 1 of my favorite classes besides archers , prince and solano. They also massively buff multi hit units as elizabeth. An AW elizabeth with a dancer near her would pretty much make mince meat of any undead , more so then even a nanaly on her skill usage.

Thanks for the advices mate. I'll look into Lyla(which i got very recently) and Marnie. Can you tell me who to awaken after Sasha and Adele? Olivie?

Aye, he means Thetis (The platinum Valkyrie), she's immune to status effects (like paralyze) which show up now and then in events... including this next one. In those maps she's very, very good to have. You're also somewhat short on pure duelists, so Thetis does make sense when you have time, maybe not the first thing to awaken though.

Having said that, as an all purpose unit, I would prioritize Adele, her 10% HP bonus to everyone takes a lot of pressure off your team as a whole...
Olive is good, but I don't think she'd be able to tank more than one lich, even with her 30 MR, her health pool is way too low, especially without Adele / Aisha.
Nanaly is pretty good as well, though I'd probably awaken Minerva first.
Minerva is the sole reason I'm able to do Crystal keeper G. With the prince down she can one shot the eyes (I also have Anelia though).
Gellius is hands down the best _tank_ in the game, ultra high HP and a great low cooldown defensive skill (for some reason most of the black heavy armors have offensive skills) so awakening Gellius is never a waste (Mind you his cost goes up by 2) - he also gets 10 MR from his awakening.
Sasha's ok, wouldn't really say she's a priority, but still pretty good.
Marnie is good, but she can't be awakened yet (Dancer awakening doesn't exist yet) her awakened skill reduces the cost of your Melee units by 1 - easily the best dancer after awakening. So no rush here.
Lyla is an amazing high damage duelist and having a high HP lightning rod to soak ranged magic attacks is always good. Also nobody likes Conrad!
Elizabeth will be amazing for this next event if you can awaken her, she'll get bonus damage to undead, and some more range on awakening - and this next event mostly undead (don't think liches count as undead for some reason).

Sorry that didn't narrow it down in terms of order... if you're only looking towards the event next week i'd say Adele, Elizabeth, and either Thetis or Lyla... (Though you'll need more than 2 healers).

I'd awaken Elizabeth or Thetis as they will be really useful on this event (reasons are mentioned in post above)

But in general it's really up to you. Check all awakening passives (with an insight in skills for future) and decide which one will work best for you. I'm currently AWing Elizabeth but im short on money <.<

Peronally, my aw choices were like this in that order: Sophie cause she's my waifu, Thetis cause op sprite D: , Spica cause everyone said so.., katie for def buff, cellia for spirit buff, Healers Iris and Camilla for drop heal, and then rest of my units just cause either they were either black, or i used them as my very very often

Thank you everyone for your feedbacks. It was very helpful. I awakened Adele and Elizabeth today and going to work on Thetis and a 3rd healer during the event. Lyla will have to wait for a bit as I'm running short on Bandit fodder.
