Hi guys, I've Been lurking a bit the last few days and came across something I haven't been able to find any further info about. I read that Nutaku is going to take over development of Aigis from DMM in a comment from someone here on the forums. Is there an official post about this somewhere? Also, are they only taking over the ability to release the content developed for the DMM version, or are they able to produce new content themselves? From what I know of Nutaku, they are not devs but rather distributors.

But it's not entirely sure when they are rdy to take completely over.

Very likely the former one, as they would (i assume) get japanese patch, and then manually translate it and incorporate it in english version of the game. I don't think producing new content would be option, cause they might got violated by EULA or something like that? :p

From what I know of Nutaku, they are not devs but rather distributors.

They have dedicated dev teams for a good amount of games now. Essentially while they started out as pure distributors they have now also set a fair deal of teams on handling games like FKG, OI, PPS and so on. The idea is to give full dedication to the games compared to what the jap devs would do, which would be to only focus on our version when they have spare resources.

eula is short for end user license agreement

nutaku is not end user

Well yeah, true, i dunno the exact word but i meant some kind of contract between DMM and Nutaku, that they shouldn't modify game files, or similar :3

This (http://www.nutaku.net/blog/nutaku-launches-2-million-adult-gaming-investment-fund/) explains where they got the money from to take over aigis and have a dev team dedicated for it. Not saying anything, realy. But makes u put ur hopes up a little that they will seriously work on it. Even if a lot of that goes into new games.
