And have some information about the upcoming event while we at it, so we might prepare our harems... I mean armies better in the week left before it's start )


Hello boys and girls, "darkest before the dawn" abates a little to give us next long-awaited event, soon! And while the event girl might be meh-tier valkyrie outside her Holy Awakening skill, and while there are not that many useful silvers to farm here, hey, its an event at last! ;)

Introducing the War Maiden Emilia! While she might very well be a silver valkyrie with cost of gold valkyrie that during skill has power of platinum+ valkyrie, if your only other option is Elanie, than you are in for an upgrade XD. Generally her usefulness revolves around her skill, Holy Awakening, same as Maribel (http://millenniumwaraigis.wikia.com/wiki/Maribel), that gives her 2x attack and defense for the duration so if you intend to use her in any capacity other than bed warmer, aim to raise that skill as high as you can. Her Awakening ability - Miracle Shield - is also shared with Maribel, and gives her 15% to outright nullify any damage thrown at her. Helps a bit)

Comments about the event

Maps with unit restrictions! Still should not be too hard for most players to complete. There's a debute of Ricardo as a farmable silver, but aside from levelling up premium Magic Fencer Sabinne's skill there are not much uses for him in normal play... So, aside from Elanie and Percis Saizo, most useful silvers to farm (Healer and Rogue) are coincedentally located on Emilia's best farming map, so you should be able to kill two (three!) gargoyles with one arrow by farming that 55/7 map.

welcome to troll map 101 and 102. well frankly speaking troll map 101 shouldnt be that hard if you watch the video. (there are only 2 maps that are worthy enough to be considered trolling in this event, you will understand the moment you watch the 1st 10~20s of the mission)

as for troll map 102, one key thing to note is that the ranged spot R is basically a spot that SHOULD NOT be deployed until the red gobriders appear and stop running. In other words, take note of the time in which anna was deployed. though if you think you have enough UP to place both a healer and a rod/tank/blocker at that spot you can feel free to try.

Melee/Ranged gimmick is quite embarrassing oversight for me) I initially went with "Can only deploy Ranged" phrasing, and when gone back to edit it into "Can't deploy any" form for better uniformity with other gimmick phrasings, missed the change from Ranged to Melee. Te-hehe :o

I like Lafate's guide format very much, it is nice, short, but informative, exactly to the point, and visual enough to be easy to use. I might experiment with pseudotables for stats or something like that in the future, but for this one I wanted to stay as close to the classics as possible :D

Unless you're lacking on Black Spirits so that leveling Sybilla doesn't require 150k gold (or more, not kidding), there's no way Sabinne is competing with Sybilla as a duelist, and while she does have constant range as opposed to Sybilla's range only during skill, Sybilla is such an OP duelist it hurts lol (well, I'm sure the monsters that she's hitting are yelling "AHHHHHHHH IT HURTS IT HURTS IT HURTS, MAKE IT STOP!!"). She's not invincible, obviously, but she's likely the strongest duelist in Nutaku overall (possibly other duelists are better under certain circumstances). That said, constant range seems like a necessity on that map, so idk. I just know that my AW Sybilla wrecks stuff all day long if you keep her healed.

150k for a black leveling is really really cheap. a single combination over level 70 is somewhere between 12 and 15k. (not sure exactly , and i'm too damn lazy to check).

From level 70 to 99 , u need 91k exp. Assuming you use just plat armors alone (+3 black fairies) , that means more then 11 combinations. Assuming 11k gold for each combination , u will pay over 120k just to level your black from 70 to 99 , and that's assuming u do it with platinum armors and 3 black fairies alone.

To level a black from level 1 to 99 without using plat armors can cost over a milion mate.

To be fair, I DID note that Sybilla is "generally" the strongest but others may be better "under certain circumstances". Olivie can perfect tank physical mobs, even powerhouses, with that 100% dodge, but against multiple Lich-types, or if skill is on CD, her paper HP says hi back. Though this is comparing two black princesses who are both totally awesome (need to get my Olivie AW lol)

I also DID note that Sabinne has the advantage of being ranged on melee slot 100% of the time, but good to know her Skill AW (who knows when we'll get that, though) gives her true damage, I might actually raise mine now lol.

Also good to know that future subjugation events are going to be limited ranged slots, thanks for the info!

@Lolix, I just kinda picked 150k out of nowhere, honestly, lol. Not in game, and I've used plat armors and black spirits, which is likely where I got the 150k lol, but 1.2-1.5 million would have been more accurate indeed.

Yeah I have Saki too but have yet to CC her, though she may be a good replacement of a fencer. I plan to AW Sybilla anyway just need enough DC today to make this happen.

May put Sabinne on hold till I really need her, I should have enough fodder to get her up if I need her.

Took 3 tries to clear the 100/2 map since the pegasus knight wave needed my Rita to have her skill up faster to avoid damage and Saki for clean up, it was just a matter of "how soon do I retreat Elizabeth so I can get Rita out in time."

Other than that, took 2 copies of Emilia into the main, got 3/5 on skill and 1 cost reduction so its some sort of progress.

Farming the 55/7 to get a maxed CR/SU event unit and if I am lucky get some Dorcas while I am at it, no such luck as of yet though. Still yet to 3 star the 100/2 map but only tried it once and made a timing error that set me back a bit. Should be able to do it once I work on my timing better.

I am finding the Final Battle map the better map to farm, it is giving me the better results not to mention it has the silvers I am after as a bonus. But I can't say 100% for sure on that as RNG could just be fooling me on that one. But seeing as it used more stamina it stands to reason Emilia would drop more on it.

Blame google translate!"

Both Memento and Emilia's events were translated by the original devs and their intern hence their shoddy effort. Events after those two will be done by Nutaku after their takeover some time in September from my understanding.

Done 10 runs of map 55/7, so far got 4 Emilias (of which one was the guaranteed drop of map 4), 1 Dorca, hasn't been a good event but I can't complain from past events. Furthermore, I'm more after Dorcas to get some copies for later use. Well, still got some time to see how it goes! And since I have no ninjas or magic fencers (got azami but haven't train her) I don't think I'll bother with the last map. Seeing vids I know I'm not up for it.

Take a look at VP Games' Guide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIxx90gZVAs). It doesn't use a ranged melee unit, though it does use a couple of awakened ones (most notably Iris and Bashira).

I don't see how the lack of magic fencers is a dealbreaker, considering Ricardo exists.

Shouldn't be hard to get him in TP or the 40/5 map.

@Eab i dropped him on doing my first time clear of the mission where he drops, still not everyone has the time to level, cc (if u have the fodder) and level him again just in order to use him for that last map.

EDIT: Anyone being lucky? I had 6 Drops so far resulting in -2cr and 3/5 skill. Kinda... not lucky yet. If i cant get her to at least -4 cr and 4/5 skill she wont be usefull but since i have nothing but elaine in the valk department i put hopes in it...
Not that i need a better valk... it sure could be usefull though.

Thats realy lucky. I am at 8 drops now and at -3cr and 3/5 skill. Just the last skill level 5/5 on itself has a chance of 1 out of 20 copys which is why many use rainbows for that. So realy lucky.

I see you have marr like me. Dunno how you can do it with aisha but you can first place marr, to reduce damage loss, then katie, then prince to left spot to tank ranged goblins for spica which you'll put next to prince. For the rest of strategy watch vp games on youtube but you may still cant 3* it because very hard map.
@lolix: Anna didnt increased princes block number with her skill i guess? he just used the def title. So that spot needs something with more than 1 blocks.

Yeah that title is better but seems nasu used the def title anyway and i saw prince actually blocked 2 cavalries. I've used prince but only for his buff, 1 block isnt enough, girls did the rest of the job.

I have yet to AW my Kerry but looking into it I believe her skill increases her ability boosted attack, I don't see why it wouldn't. Though I could be wrong, so any veteran players please correct me if I am wrong.

She increases her normal attack , and loses attack speed. Ofc her ability will be increase as well since it increases % of her curent attack

Didnt understand this part but if her base attack gets boosted then it means that boosted base attack becomes her new base attack, which means her skill makes her attack scales with it.

3 more combinations (11) later -5/+3 for me. Kinda lucky with CR but the skill is a hell of a bitch. 25% chance on skill didnt popp while 25% chance on cr popped twice in the meantime lol. Id rather dont want to waste rainbows on her so im still hoooooping.

Well...time to complain.

Six days into the event. After finishing all maps, went to the 25/2 map to try to farm only 4 valkyries (Skipped 1 day to farm DC). So how bad was it?

24 runs...3 valks (1 of them coming from the daily shrine). So yeah. Screw you Elaine. I'm going home :)

Wasn't so lucky with Emilia drops today with just one measly drop. Rather, I got 3 Dorcas and 1 Barrad. In this whole week, my alt got 5 Barrads and 8 Dorcas lol. Emilia is now at -3/+4. Got pretty lucky with SUs, but not so much with CR.

Main account was just fooling around with farming for Elaines (2) and then only getting 1 Dorca and 1 Barrad. Saving Emilia copies for Clissa fodder or Maribel fodder.

Well, I'm now on -4 and 4/5, not likely to spend anymore SC (spent 8, just to farm Dorcas), 4 Dorcas, 5 Barrads. I think I will call this the end of the event for me, and tomorrow I'll try farming for Priestess orbs for my Camilla and get her ready for AW. In the future I might need the extra/placement heal power. All in all, this was really a bad event regarding drops, most of them came from actually using SCs, but it was more or less good.

I was quite lucky and only took me minimal Emilias to CR and SU my main one, she is currently a maxed unit in terms of CR and SU.

As for farming silvers, I wanted valks and healers at the start of this event and it has been giving me a few of them. I only realize now I am very low on rouges and I don't seem to be having much luck getting them...

LOL, for me it was neither, just a couple free SCs and a change of pace. I'm a spender, with 150 SCs spent per month, so I end up with a lot of fodder anyways (not the right fodder though, need more witches lol)

I still don't have enough healers to AW Iris or Fedora without using my maxed silver. I still only have one spare valkyrie, I would have to use my maxed silver to AW Uzume or Lilia. I don't even have a spare silver heavy to CC Emilia, so getting her almost maxed is of little use. For us new players the struggle with resources is real.

So, according to the needs of my team, it was a failed event.

Got really lucky on my last run of the day. 1 more Dorca for the road and last Emilia copy gave her the last CR. Now I just need a HA to CC her.

Overall, pretty productive event. Alt got 11 Dorcas, 5 Barrads, 1 Elaine, and a perfect Emilia. Main got 2 Elaines (which I used to AW Marnie), 3 Dorcas, 1 Barrad, and 12 Emilias.

Nothing changed during the last 2 days. -5, 3/5. The damn skill was not moving an inch for two days now and refused till the end. I even spent 2 SCs but nothing. At least when using the Rainbow i got from the Event i got her skill to 4/5, the next one for 5/5 failed though and im not gonna use more then two rainbows for now (had 7 so dont curse me). Im relifed that i got her to min cost though as getting her skill to 5/5 is always possible when i want to waste rainbows, cring isnt.
Silvers i got like 5 dorcas and 7 barrads which is a pretty good drop rate. And Ricardo picked up along clearing the map, which is nice since i didnt have him. Would be cool if the event lasted longer so i could farm some elains and saizos/ricardos. I like having cred silvers of every unit type. But i guess i dont have too much to complain about

I got that twice today couldn't believe my luck, was doing some last minute farming for more rouges got a perfect run like you go, did another run got nothing at all and did my last run of the event another perfect run. A great way to finish off the event but there goes all my luck for the year.

Here is my total for this event.

Was surprised to see the silver unit I wanted the most dropped the most, last event it went the other way.

Finally managed to get a third CR on my Emilia with the last two copies I got (3SU, 12 Emilias in all). The 6 copies before that gave me a meager 1 SU and 0 CR...

This means that I'll probably leave her on the bench and stick with Kerry since she costs less to deploy. Got 3 healers and rogues though, which is nice since I was a bit short of those. All in all a decent enough week I suppose (definitely room for improvement, but not too bad under the circumstances).

Got a couple silvers as well on the second account and managed to do the entire gold daily yesterday as well , and just 2 on my first 1. First account was really really unlucky , even tho i needed a couple of dorcas on it more then on my second. Guess thats RNG. Nothing that i can do about it
