Good timeofaday, brave Princes! It is almost September, the month of great expectations, so what's the best way to start it than with a brand new event! And it finally brings us a long-awaited Dark Knight! (but not one we waited for...)
So let's witness the Last Moments of Dark Knighthood (even if we didn't see its first ones (http://www.ulmf.org/bbs/showpost.php?p=852549&postcount=18127) ;))

Introducing the Dark Knight Brotherhood Vice Leader Elva! As a Dark Fighter she packs defense comparable to attack-oriented Heavy Armors and attack of defense-oriented Valkyries into solid 2-block body with 10 MR to boot. Upon Awakening into a Paladin, she loses her awesome design gains more defense the less health she has, (same deal as avenger's attack). And she herself is our "attack-oriented" variant, who wields a saw-sword and speeds up (and increases) her own attack on skill, gaining assassination chance passive on Awakening. ...Dat cost tho...

Comments about the event
Holy silver EVERYTHING farm fest! As we still don't know how future event schedule would look like, be sure to farm up a good scores of every silver you can. There's also the debut of our lovely futa Silver Angel as a farmable unit - be sure to stock up on her, as all angels (but event Miruno) share her skill, so you would be able to raise them up with her copies.

For maps themselves, be on lookout for Dark Knight-Commander's fearsome debuff aura and prepare to face the newest Superboss, Greater Demon Pig with his OVER 5 THOUSAND XD attack, on his home field of Underworld, where we can fight only at half strength... So, good luck! ;D

On the good side, you will have a chance to see both Black DRK's at their respective G maps: Premium one, Cornelia, on Treasonous Knight, and the esteemed Danchou Knight-Commander Grand Master of Unchivalrous Order of Dark Knights in Hell. Even if they will be in their unawakened forms, and so only at fraction of their true power, that's still something)

2-blocker with a good mix of attack, defense and MR, but for very hefty cost. Upon Awakening loses their coolness, but gains more defense the more health he loses (up to x1.5 on half HP or less).

For Dark Knight Commander's Resolve you can easily take down the Big Fatty before he even gets to start moving. Ninja / MF can reach him from around the bend and archers can reach him from the easternmost ranged spot in the little island on the top left, as well as the closest ranged spot to him on the right. You can then save the Commander's skill to deal with the final Mage Demon thing. I ended up first tanking him with Karma during her skill and then finishing up with Deine and Commander skill, never having to withdraw anyone other than Karma.

I think this is the first time I've managed to 3-star every event map including G. I know these G maps are a lot easier compared to a lot of other G maps we've had before, but 100% completion of an event feels pretty good.

Its not easier. You did just progress and the patch did bring us up in terms with DMM balance. As we kept not getting the balance patches the game got harder then it was intended as our units just were worse. I find the maps Challenging but once u have like 5 AW Units it gets easier if u dont make mistakes.
And if u played long enough to have black power horses and some super plats and karma event like units u can just brute force through it befor it can even get a challange. Doesnt have a lot to do with being easy, a map with lots of bosses where unit atk/def is halfed and the final boss deals 1k dmg is by no means easy. But not extremly difficult either.

Yep. Pretty much destroyed every map with my team. As a matter of fact the last 2 maps were somewhat easier for me. Minerva and Nanaly just obliterated the demons in 6th map before they could even move and Cornelia didn't get a single attack done in the 7th map.

Its not easier. You did just progress and the patch did bring us up in terms with DMM balance. As we kept not getting the balance patches the game got harder then it was intended as our units just were worse. I find the maps Challenging but once u have like 5 AW Units it gets easier if u dont make mistakes.
And if u played long enough to have black power horses and some super plats and karma event like units u can just brute force through it befor it can even get a challange. Doesnt have a lot to do with being easy, a map with lots of bosses where unit atk/def is halfed and the final boss deals 1k dmg is by no means easy. But not extremly difficult either.

I just noted that it was easy since even in the video guides, you could 3* them with silver and free/common gold units whereas I remember there being some G maps that were very hard to even 1* without event/premium units. One example that comes to mind is the G map for Imelia's event a few months ago. Even with my team as it is now, I doubt I could complete it.

u can try to use saki and a dancer to do extra damage since she has the neceary range.

Between saki and bashira/spica , u should have enough damage to kill it before it starts running

I thought I would be ready for this event, but the extreme requirements on magic damage is giving me trouble. I never thought I would need three witches and two mages on one map. I was happy so far to use Mikoto as both a witch and a mage and it worked out so far, but now I need more. Perhaps I could throw Mikoto's tokens on the dark knight commander to abuse their damage returning ability as I assume it wouldn't be affected by his debuff.

You are supposed to have the commander guy's skill active before both the big fattie and the boss mage start obliterating your team. Just turn it on once it is available and try to kill those two before it expires after 2 minutes. For the fattie, it helps to not have any melee on the boars until the end of it. It's mostly a ranged dps battle, except using price to block fatty and something else to block the mage.

And it's true that killing him before he moves is a possibility. My spica alone gets him to half before.

sp newbie question, what are the min req. to be able to consider this event successfull ?If by "successful" you mean "obtain an event girl", then you need to get minimum 5 ☆ on event missions.
Still, it is a Star Trial, so maps are generally harder. So you might want to spend next week strengthening your team and try to achieve as many stars as you can on the next week)

Solano's X maps are definitely tighter than any of the maps here. I also had issues with Rika's Inferno G since I didn't have two good/cheap heavies, and Imelia's King of the Dead G nearly had me at the end of my rope.

Honestly, blind-running these maps felt cheaper than usual. Heavy cannoneers obliterating everything in map 4 if you didn't have a heavy set up, heavy cavaliers in map 5 running circles around the map, random heavy cannoneer spawning in the middle of the map at the end of map 6, etc. Map 7 being completely straightforward in being a ranged DPS rush was actually a refreshing change of pace.

The battle in hell is actually REALLY easy if you have lots of ranged damage to bring. Nanaly, Minerva, Farne and Aisha would outright trivialize it, but even doing something like Bashira + Spica + dancer (Bashira)/Uzume skill/Shuka skill can let you take down the pig before he even moves (not sure Elizabeth has the range to reach him, haven't tried lol). Just make sure you have a lightning rod for the mage that comes near the end. I did all the maps blind and the only one that required a second go (and third) was the last one, because those black goblin archers kept killing Nanaly >.< totally my fault for not getting her a shield out quick enough but eh, whatever. I'm farming first map for Calliopes now, gotta say, having a silver witch drop on Map 1 is freaking awesome for me (need 10, got 2 so far)

Was planning on using Karma to stall the mage demon, but she somehow missed him and attacked the other demons instead. So I just used Elizabeth to finish him off.

Disregard Nero @scrubp, yes your armies are stronger and the balance patch helps a lot but these G maps are definitely easier than average. I would say by comparison though that the X maps are harder than average X maps as well; the difficulty curve from maps 5-8 is relatively flat. Means most people will have either a mediocre event unit or a perfect, which I guess doesn't matter a lot as Elva seems average overall anyway.

The demon mage is a slightly weaker variant than the one in Base Struggle II, but it'll still one/two-shot most characters if it switches to melee because it has an attack power of 2000. You're supposed to range-DPS the fuck out of it in both this event and BSII.

You Propably forgot the dialog and to press "use skill" on the Dark Knight which 1/5 Damage dealed by enemys. Making the big demons Attack go down from 5000 to 1000 for 2 minutes.
Nothing we have can tank that 5k damage without the skill of the dark knight. Not even 99AW Gellius during skill use with a dancer and AW Bernice... maaaybe able to survive one hit and thats it cause that big monster attacks pretty fast.

Actually, you could skill tank him for a short period with Karma or Olivie but that's about it. Normally this kind of situation would have been Anya's time to shine thanks to her skill but unfortunately that miasma really kicks her defense and healers right in the jimmy.

Well, losing both attack and defense changes things, cellia has 4.8k hp and 200ish def iirc, debuff lowers it to 100 and thus she wont even be able to survive one hit :P still its a good thing to see that bandits can tank with enough heal support.

With her skill or with AW Imelia she could Tank one hit but thats it. Even if Atk and Def wouldnt be halved it would be troublesome to an extend where most wouldnt be able to as that thing attacks pretty fast with its 5k damage (even more if u compare it to golems). Even with 2-3k def healing up 2-3k health that fast might be too much. I cant say that for sure though i have nothing barely close to that :D

RNG works in mysterious ways... 15 runs of the 4th map with nothing but flowers, then I get a heavy on run #16, a can on #17 and an archer on #19. Still below the supposed 10% drop rate but I feel my luck turning!

EDIT: Today was incredibly lucky for me. I got 3 Calliopes so I reached my goal of getting 10 total witches and the 1st time i farmed artillery map, I got Bernard. even If i don't get any other unit till the event runs out i'd consider this a decent farming event.

I know how you feel, felt like I had so many I have so many bronze heavies that I have to keep selling as I was farming bandits that never seemed to drop. I had a good starting run and managed to get 4 over 4 days of normal regen but when I upped the anti and used SC to get more out of 60 runs I only got 2 bandits, one at the very start of that run and one on the 58th run.

I used all my luck in the last few events where there where 2 silver drops in one map and got the perfect run 2-4 times during the events. Now I am farming witches.

After several runs, I finally got my first Pallis drop. Probably going to get one more and call it quits. Farming for her was too painful. I have better luck farming for Calliopes at this point. Already got 3 after 1.5 days of farming.

My alt is unlucky too. 1 whole week of farming and only 2 Somas, 1 Bernard, and 3 tin cans. Still trying to figure out how to 3* Dark Knight Commander's Resolve without a good female mage. Maybe Percis and a non-CC'ed Mehlis will do.

I got all the stars I need for a perfect event unit, plus 2 (don't think I'm going to try and 3 start the last mission). Got a bunch of mixed silvers. I managed to get 2 rogues (that I need), but I'll spend the rest of the event trying for more.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this event.

End of DK stage also drops Pallis (Silver Mage) and Bandit is the 2nd stage (30 charisma, 1 stamina)

Welp, not sure how much of what did I get on this event, but I can safely say - enough. Managed to max CR Alisa and Niel and get Alisa's skill to lvl 3. 1 UC under max CR for Pallis and Calliope, first one got her skill maxed, last one got to lvl 3. As well as that I got materials to AW Iris, Imelia and Claudia, + CC materials for several silvers, Rita and Elva. All missions 3 starred, so Elva is at her best. Event was great.

Also this event revealed that previous one was a complete disaster for me - I couldn't max CR Emilia nor get her skill maxed, to add with all the crap luck I had with fodder drops.

Well I had enough DC to get another Saki and since I don't need to CR Spica or buy Akane I got myself another Saki so I can SU and CR my main which I intended to do anyway.

And your right she only gives 15 RC. Oh well guess it will be a real achievement to get 1000.

Is Saki even in the Shrine? But even if she is, I highly doubt they're going to let players spend 300 DC to get 400 RC, for reasons stated previously.

Sorry i dont want to sound mean but even the game itself tells u on a huge banner jumping into your eyes when opening the game what Rainbow Crystals are, what u can use them for and how you can get them. You just need to read it like you would read an answer of someone in this forum.

Any unit that is rollable in the gacha can be sold for the full RC cost. Cyrus is in the gacha so yes you can do this. But as lolix said, it will cost you 3.5k DC which is a rather hefty sum.

No other TP unit can be sold for the premium gacha amount. Saki gives a glorious 15RC a pop and Spica 3. And yes, premium summon units gained from gold rushes count for the 20RC as well.

That comes out to what? Somewhere around 100 SC worth of stamina and charisma refreshes on thursday while the double drop rate is up? I guess it is probably cheaper than rolling and selling everything you get, if you were REALLY into saving up the 1K RC.

3.5k/18 DC perfect run = 195 runs. Assuming you're 200+ and therefore have 18 stamina, you go through stamina 87 times and charisma about 30 times. So roughly 115 SCs spent if you do nothing but that all day long lol. The XP gain isn't high enough to consider level up a possibility, but even that's just -2 SCs spent. And this is assuming perfect runs all 195 runs (G tier with double drops this is possible at least)

115 SC is still cheaper though then the SC youd need to get enough RC from selling all gold+ units from shrine unless ur someone who has over the avarage luck and pulls a black and several plats that u then want to dump. Not that i would do either of these two strategies.
