Good timeofaday, brave Princes! It is that time of the week, and after our well-earned break we all are aching to sink our... teeth, yeah, teeth) into some new content. Luckily for us, this week actually brings us a new event, and for a unit of a new class to boot! So prepare to go prehistoric to receive the Oath of the Dragon Knight!

Introducing the Dinosaur Rider Dragon Knight Lucille! As our first Dragon Rider, she sets the standards for this new class. Said class being a very high-cost, high-performance valkyries (meaning, more of UP refunded on withdrawal) that can't ramp UP but can spit ranged magical attacks on skill. Lucille herself is quite a formidable duelist, pushing nearly 3.5k HP, 800 attack and 600 defense at AW90, and even featuring 10 MR as her Awakening ability. And her skill can push quite a hurt with her skill, outstripping even Despara in single-target magical damage. ...All at the cost of arm and leg in form of 40 (forty!) UP maxcosted (and so 35 mincost) for Awakened dino. Even at CC level, her cost is staggering 35 (maxcost) to 30 (mincost), so make sure to squeeze as much CR as you can.

Comments about the event
As I said before, if you want to use Lucille, work your @$$ to get her to lowest cost possible. Or don't, and just plan your deployments better to accommodate 40UP monster at the latter stages of a map) 90/12 map, where event unit drops with 100% certainty, is present, so take advantage of it) From silver farming angle, there's a lovely Angel and Magic Fencer combo on map 3, should you really need them. Other than them, pirate, healer+valkyrie, soldier+heavy and ninja (but still not Kagerou ;_;), are present, so if you find yourself wanting these classes, here's your chance)

For maps themselves, lotsa ranged mobs. Prepare accordingly. Take note of bomber goblins, they detonate on death, so take care to not accidentally wipe your team with chain reaction of clearing them with AoE. G-tier map introduces us to the gang of missing ninja that are going to harass from time to time, so get comfortable with them) Also, it is probably the first map where Awakened Bashira's targeting priority could play a cruel trick with you, as as long as shuriken-throwers are around, she will focus on them instead of kite-fliers, potentially missing airborne enemies. Something to keep in mind about our beloved kitty ;)

New Classes Being Introduced
Dragon Rider / Dragon Knight / Dragon Lord
Dinosaur-riding, fire-breathing (when skill is triggered) mega-valkyries with great stats and even greater cost. All but one switch from physical melee to magic ranged single-target damage in skill. And, as a bonus point, they all receive buffs from both Dragon and Cavalry-buffing passives, so with right party composition can be buffed pretty extensively in the future.
Their intended role is late-game duelists that can tank quite a sizable physical damage and can do some magic or fire support when needed.

No archer and samurai drops means no aw sophie or spica, again... ;( Im not gonna use gold units for that especially after i learned about saw. Still, more niels are always welcome not just for sophie but for also other plat angel.
As for event unit she seems to have a go for a while until they introduce nadia or erenia. I may invest to her as nutaku didnt break its break-event-break rotation, thus leaving us with enough time to level her.

I've used Opera for over a year now and it's problem free.

Chrome is from google and i dont trust google. They store and use dozens of informations ud wonder. Only one violating your rights of privacy more then them is Facebook. Firefox is an relatively independend and free browser created by developers who are not working for a certian company (so dont have an certian "goal in mind" if u get what im saying). Its the most used Browser in Germany and second most in Europe so its just a common thing. Opera is just a small browser not very commonly used where i live but i have it installed at my pc. That said i still have chrome and use it rarely. I have around 200 tabs always open saved split in chrome and firefox. (16GB RAM so yeah)
Annoys me that i have to switch from Firefox to another browser (until that one screws up) for playing the game. But same happened during monday daily. Browser games just suffer badly from the restrictions browsers have no matter what high end pc your sitting at <-<

You can always go with SRWare's Iron, which is basically Chrome without Google. No automatic updates though, but that shouldn't be a big issue.
There should be a few more Chromium based browsers out there if Iron doesn't do it for you, but whatever works for you I guess :)

Definetly not. Since other then Chrome, firefox has the wonderfull feature that only the tabs actively load that i click on, the others remain unloaded in the background until i click at them the first time during that session, they dont even take up a process. Btw. Firefox did run the game well enough for the most time its just since yesterday that for whatever reason its deciding that aigis (and ONLY aigis, nothing else and no other game from nutaku) is killing it.

Of course they do. Your standard pc doesnt run browsers using its graphicscard, the browser only uses the cpus power (most do so - yes even for browser games) and needs hardware acceleration to make games properly work. Once u have a high end machine ull notice that a browser reaches its own limits far befor your hardware does so as the browser can only handle so much (viaries from game to game and browser to browser some are better at some games and some are better at others). They are limited by there cache too and browser games are much more cpu and ram heavy then "normal games" when u split them down into how complex they are. Also browsers have to load plugins like flashplayer to play games which further limit and slow as these have thier limits too. Hell yes browsers are limited or "restricted" in thier capability. Plugins can quickly get your browser down to its knees while ur pc wouldnt even give a cough. I have 8 prozessing units (cores) goin at 3.4GHz if needed (when running a browser game barely more then one core even starts to rise up its efforts a few percantages) and 16GB RAM (and its a fast one). I can even open multiple "real" games and forget about them in the background as just one of my 8 cores takes the idle work on it and nothing until now was even able to fill my RAM up to more then 75%. All my browsers run on my SSD which reads compareably fast to my RAM. Yet it can happen (YES also in Chrome) that a Browser game starts killing the frames. I dont even know why im going in on this detailed as the problem very likely is not any "resource issue" but rather a problem colliding something within the game and the browser in this case Firefox causing it to crash. Thus, until fixed, simply forcing me to switch to another browser. Im sorry if i stepped over some tiny stone in this list as im no pro at the topic but the things i listed are pretty easy to find just using google when interested in the topic.

Ps. just "google" about googles privacy scandales/violations. You wont get everything as its google your searching with and many english speaking countrys dont care about privacy rights as much as for example germany does but youll still find enough. Or just get this for a starter Criticism of Google (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_Google)

I've been using Chrome for Nutaku and Firefox for DMM. No serious problems, never crashed once. Although I do have momentary freezes from time to time, on both browsers.

edit: +1 for left-aligned titles, as a graphics artist I never use center alignment for anything but book titles.

let RNG decide which one you will do first. Dark knight gets nice defense buff with awakening, this Lucille gets 10mr with awakening, but boasts high stats

Lucille is one of the super tank units, which have enough HP and Defense to tank the really super hard hitting bosses (4K or 5K damage). Her UP means you won't be dropping her early on, so the difference between min and max cost shouldn't be that much of an issue, though you won't be able to use her on shorter maps. During her skill, she hits Despara levels of damage from what I recall, and you should be able to have her hit something tanked by another duelist/HA.

If you already have other units able to do the super tank, you may wish to farm silvers. If you don't have any other super tanks, Lucille is something you should get.

No Nutaku event unit besides Lolonee changes skill after CC, and for good reason. Drops are generally a pain to get in the first place, and having to farm tons of fodder (often with 10% drop rate) to CC the copies first pissed off a lot of people in her event (well, the ones who wanted a perfect unit).

Yeah but I have already thrown 3 Rainbow Spirits at that last skill up with no luck so I am being stubborn now. I hate wasting rainbow spirits on event units when it is possible to get skill ups easier than those that aren't events units like my black Sybilla.

I know a 1/4 beats 1/20 chance of skill up when using rainbow spirit, still I will see how my luck fairs though I don't have high hopes for the 5% chance.

I am in the same boat as you except I have thrown 3 rainbow spirits at that last SU and have just let it be now, if I get any more copies of her and they give the SU well then wahoo! As usual, I am stricken with an odd bit of luck where my drops become fewer and fewer as the event goes on. It's also been oddly scattershot - I've gotten surprisingly good drops from Mad Shuriken Dance, yet never gotten anything but flowers from Ruined City Free-For-All despite having done it 7 or 8 times. Puzzling.

Still, I'm not complaining. I've gotten 8 drops of Lucille, so hopefully I'll be able to reasonably decrease her cost and increase her skill. As I've noted elsewhere, I don't use Valkyries, but hopefully Lucille will be worth including.

Combing farm units with 1 unit 3 plat spirits is absolutely unsustainable. You should be doing 2 and 2 at most, and I even still have to mix in some 1 and 3 or using junk fairies (golds I no longer need and bronzes from stamp card and occasional events). That's running Phalanx 2 on weekends and Wednesdays and Spirit Rescue G both Tuesday and Friday, which has an even higher return on plat spirits per stamina spent. Unless maybe you only use tin cans on non-plat units...

Considering your replies in various threads, I've got a strong feeling you're just a troll (I mean one time you talked about using Spica in War of Magic...) and this is another piece of BS. You shouldn't use spirits at all until you're PAST level 40 (at least in the 30s) since bronze fodder works fine, and it doesn't get expensive until post-40 really. Using non-matching spirits is expensive as well (2.25x multiplier with 3 non-matching spirits, OK if you're using platinum units farmed from an event, I suppose) and "up to gold fairies"? I tend to have a shortage of silver and gold spirits due to using Spirit Rescue G (T/F) or Phalanx 3 (S/S) for spirit farming unless I specifically need silver/gold spirits.

With the above stated, I think I should start ignoring you. Your replies are 99% BS.

Its the most logical thing to do.

She might go down a bit in damage, but she deals more damage over time, and that's awesome especially on longer maps. The range and splash is great too. Trust me, it is awesome.
