Prioritise 6*, 5*, 4* and 3* first. After that you can boost the Affection of 2* for Flower Gems.

But keep in mind that 2* are bad Units and they aren't worth to Level or Evolve.

If you only want to see a specific Scene you can do it but it's not recommended^^

The Scarlet Salvia scene is pretty good (at least for my taste)....

But as Wutan said, try to prioritise the max affection of the girls you are currently using :)

If you can wait, you will eventually have more presents than you can spend on just your 'important' girls. I've long since passed the point where I have all the girls in my teams at 100% affection, and aside from frontloading affection on the occasional new gacha and event girls, I'm holding back on gifting so that I'll still have girls to whom to give gifts for daily missions.

Standard 'upcoming nation battle mode makes every girl important' disclaimer applies, and indeed makes the case for gifting 2* girls when you can.

I agree, this game is not so demanding that you need to min/max every single thing. Basically you should do what you enjoy, I think thats exactly why they made the difficulty of most maps rather low, so you can play the way you want to.
