I noticed there is a time limit to both of them and that each is separating the girls into 2015/16.
Thought one should have been a permanent thing hmm.

You should have 3 deals available atm. One of these deals doesn't have an expiration date and you can buy it for 5000 DMM Points. 10+1 roll and a 6* of your choice (ticket). It doesn't include the newest 6* so beware of that.

The other two Gachas:
Two new 5,000 DMM point gachas are available. One guarantees a 6* from 2015 (included in the 10+1 roll). The other guarantees a 6* from 2016 (included in the 10+1 roll).

It's the equivalent of throwing a $50 bill into a casino slot machine and hoping you get a rainbow that either 1) you wanted because of their design/looks or 2) their abilities for your targeted team building. But with that comes the opposite of getting a rainbow do not like at all aesthetically or one that would be judged inferior compared to other much better rainbows. For players like myself and others who already have quite a few, this isn't really ideal. For new people or those still trying to get them, this could be a good deal.

I am hugging my RC coins in my mofu cave, not wanting to pick, just in case that Random Ticket we get decides to trololo me and gets me a dupe of the girl I would have picked from the Coins exchange.

I think they could bring in a new 5K gacha, 11 pull + 300 RC. Its pretty much the same as a Ticket, but this would be for people who already have some amount of coins but not enough. And while technically it IS the same as a Ticket gacha, the aesthetics around it are a bit different just to shake things up a little bit.
They already did the one with 50 RC, which honestly wasnt as beneficial as you might think once you crack down on the $$ vs outcome.

Now I dont normally vote for dark skinned oppai..... BUT, I too am getting weak in the knees (and hard in between :D) at certain Dark Elf chans. And those are oppai ones as well, so its double weird but .... you know, a mofu likes what mofu likes.
We already have a 5* elf chan. A dark elf chan, with nice oppai, beautiful long shiny black hair woulndt hurt at this point, just saying :3
(I can see her being either a Slash or Magic type, to go with the usual DE tropes.)

Pure nuker build. Self focused purely offensive character. While I dont like the usual 1st turn only skills, if set up propeperly they can work, like in this example. The theme for this one is the one shot one kill calculated Assassin who makes sure the hit is as deadly as possible and doesn't let a prey escape.


6* Magic Dark Elf chan 2:
Dmg buff 20% per # of enemies
Dmg per ally types 15%
Skil act up to 1.36 depending on affection
Skill damage party 20%
Skill damage party 1st 40%
Negate

Skill: 2x3.8

Party build, buffs allies with damage, skill damage and slightly stronger skill activation. Finishes up with the barrier skill that Negates 1 attack on the unit. The theme behind this is the Dark Elf Priestesses, who are in most fantasy universes tend to use their magic not to heal but to buff their fellow kin to ever greater combat proves, while also sporting a certain magic protection.

I was contemplating giving DE1 chan the broken "Dmg per HP" skill instead of Crit, but honestly I like this build a bit more. Doesnt make her super retarded, but she is definitely in the A+ tier and can both solo for good damage, or be super strong in Crit based team. Alternatively instead of Pursuit she could have Re-Act 50% which would work as well.

DE2 chan is a offense focused buffer who also gives one turn protection. Was contemplating giving her Def/Guts instead of Negate, as this current setup seems a bit too strong especially with barrier. With Def/Guts she would still be a solid support albeit less op.

Not gonna lie, Both of them are in the upper top as far as skill rating would go. Both of them would have low defense, high atk stats. Lower HP for Assassin and medium for priestess. High speed on both.
So while having powerful abilities, the stats would prevent them for going OP. Still they both would be strong, as Dark Elf chans should be. :P

On the plus side for Nutaku, they followed this up by accidentally giving out a FG gacha with 3% rainbow rate (like the current pay gacha). It's 12 pulls for 15 FGs at this rate right now. (about a 30% chance at a rainbow).

Last time we were talking about this, it seems if nothing else they will transfer your Rainbows from before the re-vamp to the new version.
Which I hope is true as I had 2 or maybe even 3 in there (one of which was a random 6* gift to all players one I pulled, and not sure if I got the 3rd one or not.)

Edit: Ah I wanted to say - I eventually got Tiger lily one of those past few weeks. And I must say, I do like her voice a lot.

I did manage to clear the stage 1 whaleship missions, which was a surprise and actually I'm doing something I was not planning - farming these missions to get the shop jewelery.
I've burned through quite a few (100+) stamina pots already and bought all the 32k and 25k medal jewelery.
I think I'll finish on the 23k ones this time.
The additional manyuus and ampies (got 150+ of each already) that we get from those missions are actually good for the current synthesis event and incoming 6*s. :p

Whilst we wait for new update to come, I am doing last minute whaleship missions. I missed it the last time because I was surprised, but this time I caught it. Well kinda. If you have a hard time reading it, it says 613,214 on the DMG. It made me curious as to what is the highest you all have seen with your own whale missions so far?

From what I've noticed, having high crit, react activation and a full team of rainbows makes all the difference here. :)

@game2534: Even if you have a dual screen setup, the print screen button on your keyboard should catch both of your screens as one image - at least that's how it works for me. The rest is a matter of pasting it to an editor and cropping.

I think it's rather jumble? Mediocre atk boost, standard def boost, 2 elements weakness added, 10% damage on boss and 1.2x skill act. I don't know where she actually shines. She's really Jack of all trades, master of none IMO. Her atk also low so she gonna support more than actual damager.

New promoted Saffron Tulip... no comment. I guess they should take all the weak event 5* abilities and put them on the same girl to make her rainbow. That sounds like a great idea.

The new 6* is interesting.
That bonus damage to Weakness is very interesting indeed. I was wondering if they will be doing something more with weakness and this is the answer.
Now I will say single type weakness skills are worthless (weaknes on one thing doesnt do much). All Weakness skill should be at least of two types. 1 is just pointless.

This girl can work nicely with some of the girls who have 2 types, and works really well with Sleepy chan and Pigmy chan.
Personally I think her DMG should have been 25% not 18%, and her skill act should have been of the better type (1.36 per skill level/affection), to make her stand out a bit more.
But she is not bad, and its nice to see something new, that is actually not as bad of a skill as it might at first seem.
Now granted they could have given her Weakness against 1-2 types to go along with that, instead of that Dmg per # of enemies. That would be a much better.

Anyway I like the concept, if nothing else.

And hey .... she also has a mofu pet accompanying her ! much cuteness fu ~ fu ~ :3

I have a quick question tho, how is Wolfberry for a crit team? She has 1 turn negate damage and 15%/30% Crit Act./Crit Dmg...I don't have much as far as crit teams go, so anything would be an upgrade; sorry if this should be in tactica..just want you guys' quick opinion.

And what was the dmg. multipliers again for crit. and weakness?

Oh and event, pretty normal like you guys said. At least the Treasure Rally has auto option, which I only found out recently, which is a really nice feature.

18% is fine. That 1.5 1.8 weakness multiplier is calculated at the very end, after all other ATK buffs.
And you get a lot of ATK buffs in this team. With scaling buffs alone you get guaranteed 60% from her and Sleepy-chan scaling off number of pests and complementing each other and 45% from Pygmy. Then ~60% in their flat buffs. And that's with only 3 characters, and before 1.8 multiplier. Tons of damage.

I don't have much experience in terms of crit, but Kuko's worth picking even if only as a "tech card" of sorts. AFAIK she's the only crit girl with Negate, and that can make all the difference on harder/broken maps. You might not use her all the time, but she's there for when you need her to survive that extra turn.

She has a negate which is an amazing skill in and of itself.
And her Crit is decent enough to be of use.

Well well. Event 2nd part is here. According to the wikia, the new mobile 6* is here. Obviously I don't get anything. Am I the only one?

New 6* promotions girls:
Lily (aka Madonna on Nutaku):
A really strange promotion. She has Damage based on Solar Blast use, Solar gauge filling at the start... and no Solar Blast damage at all. Why?

Pitcher Plant:
Not awesome but not that bad. Skill act, nice ATK buff and 60% react. And Pierce+Magic attribute as bonus. Why not. She is usable if you like her.

Canna:
She turn into a decent Crit girl with both CritDamage+CritRate and skill activation. But I guess there is a lot of girls like her in the game now. Not a must have (or at least, as must have as all the other must have girls like her).

We also have disconuts on Manyu missions with 2 free FG for each stages (for a total of 16 FG).
New nation battles.
New Nazuna missions but I haven't tried it yet (it should be easy according to their 15 stamina cost). But they gives Saltickets and FG. That's good.

Japanese Gentian bloom form is really nice.

And... that's almost all.

Its a bit convoluted and not exactly clear what its implied, but it seems its some new sort of currency we will be able to gather and once full, exchange for a ticket. What sort of ticket that is (random or pick) is not yet known.
I am sure we will get better info as time goes on.

In regard to the Azur Lane, I've been partaking in the open beta to help avoid FKG burnout. It's been pretty fun. It is clear the game is going to get grindy, but at least you can enjoy your ship waifus in a game where you can control them in the battle. I saw people in the announcement post from Crunchyroll fanboying hard for Kancolle. So I looked up what exactly Kancolle gameplay is like. And I laughed my ass off. There's barely anything where in Azur Lane you can control cute chibi versions of your chip. It's not even close! Azur Lane is much better.

AZLane: I find it a lot better than KanColle, after my bad exp. w/ that game. AL has better gameplay, ships auto. heal after sorties (no dumb "wait 12 hours if you don't have buckets" crap), better resource management, it's just OIL, and you get plenty of it to use. Also gatcha system is very generous, 6-7% for rarest ships. Most maps don't require you to have specific ships, so you can play with what you like to a certain extent. And the artwork is 1000% better than Kancolle, very modern and nice to look at. Ofc there's microtransactions, but you def. don't need to spend real $ to enjoy game. Overall so far so good.
(Oh yea PvP, I only do it for exp gains, I lose almost all my matches lol...)

As for FKG, still waiting for some more priority gatchas featuring more crit. girls. And I'm with JLP, looking forward to mobile game release and its rewards. Maybe it comes next week, since not this update?

AL is those type of 'Easy to play, hard to master' game. You can blow everything to bits even without SSR ships but with it you'll have much more win ratio in PVP.

I download with APKPure but I don't think mobile ver. is stable yet. Very long loading time and required wifi for playing since all data will be processed in real time so your internet will be used up quickly. I have yet to try dating function that take place of H scene though.

@maotd That's why playing as F2P is very possible with this game. Other games in DMM are much harsher especially one with PVP. And just like I said many times that I spent some bucks in this game because they're professional and deserved a support, not because I want to whale or anything. My gacha luck is too trash for any kind of gamble.

A day after we got our pre-reg rewards I launched Nutaku FKG and after a while though to myself "why am I even playing this shi*t".

Was hoping to get Azur Lane working, but after spending several hours and chatting with multiple people about it, I threw in the towel. The game just doesnt want me. Might try one more thing but dont really put much faith into it anyway. Sigh

Its been quite a long time since the game went down for the re-work, and I thought It was supposed to launch at the end of August this year... or was it September ? The thunder kunai girl is Japanese (Water) Iris and she is a really nice girl (even if her moving pest ability is a bit useless). She was in one of my main team on Nutaku and I really like her. I guess I'll pick her with all my unused 2015 stones.

So, new event is here. Finally a raidboss event... but two weeks to late I guess. And it's circus themed. Funny.

It seems manyu keys just disappear from event stage rewards and our old silver gifts are back instead. Ok. Why not. Manyu key were a bit too broken but very useful for emergency manyu.

Still no 5* St Paulia and other popularity contest winners. It's a bit disappointing. Just a bit.

New girls are... new?

Event girl is a cute loli. I don't know what she become after promoting yet. Wait and see the wikia.
As 5* we got Elm and Lithops.
Elm seems really agressive Damages on bosses, ATK buff and ATK buff based on pest number. And she gets skill damages (I guess) with her 6* promotion. Not awesome but solid if you like her. And she has a 3 target skill.

Lithops is... less interesting. ATK buff, DEF buff and Evasion. And her 6* promotion gives... no counter. Just ATk buff based on turn. It looks like +10% ATK up to 30%? I can't read japanese runes so, wait for wiki. And her ATK buff turn into something strange. I don't know what it is. She has a 3 times attack kill.

The new 6* is Purple Columbine. A cute tiny loli. Again. She has a good 1.65% skill act, a tiny +18% ATK buff and +12% damages on bosses and skill damages. Like Elm,she is really agressive, solid but not awesome.

The last promoted girl is Rose Diana but I have not her new ability yet. I hope she will be good. Not like the poor Yellow Tulip.

That's a belief that can only come from playing the Nutaku version exclusively. You'll want single-target girls for the hard stuff.

5.4 damage to single target is not good enough by itself as the actual hard content requires appropriate knights with abilities synergizing together. Purple Columbine does not have this. If she had 40% or 60% or whatever the norm is to attack again then she would be useful. To my knowledge Anemone is still the only knight that has the weird 3x 1.8 damage with 0.5 damage to anything else which is very odd.

There are some highly specialized single target Nukers. Especially ones that are set up as Boss Killers or Crit girls (Trailing Abuliion Sports, and Rianbow Rose are good examples of that). For more details refer to the Knights Quarters guide.

Cactace is really good but she can't do the whole hard stuff by herself, even if she can attack twice. That's why other single target nuckets exists and can kill a Nidhogg in one turn before it rape you.
And you can't really take Cactace as ultimate and unique 1 target attacker when the game has a monster called Kerria (and another named Rainbow Rose but I can't speak for her).
But I'm totally okay with you for Purple Columbine. She is not bad but not good. She is just good to help your boss nuker team when you don't have anything better.

Okay the event girl, Gooseberry, is not that bad after promotion with -20% ATK for every enemy, skill act and ATK buff. Not awesome but still usable as debuff unit.

And Rose Diana is... not that good. At all. Skill Rate, Skill damages, ATK buff and... Solar Blast. Just that. I forgot about her Solar Blast ability. And they missed a chance to make a great Slice SB girl.

Conva is a nice SB girl, though admittedly she doesnt yet have Promotion.
I suspect once she gets Promoted she will be one of the stronger SB girls out there. Plus she already has amazign stats for a 5* so if they keep the trend up she should be one of the best 6* stats wise.
Granted that means nothing if you dont plan on using a SB team (or WS).

As for the event girls, the best of all of them is the actual event girl. Solid debuff girl with skilla act and pretty high Boss Fight dmg buff.
The others are meh.

My usual "words of wisdom" rant.
Don't feel bad about it game. Can't help it. When someone flings their luck in front of your face for long enough, while you swim in shit the depression accumulates and grows into resentment.
The important thing is to differentiate between those feelings and knowing that its purely situational thing that will pass away once you get a bit of luck yourself, and also for the other party to not make a big deal out of it, as this happens to EVERYONE eventually, and that those feelings are not personal and directed towards the person directly rather towards the game medium and the overall state of the situation.

I am guilty off this too, but that doesn't mean I am gonna make excuses or alternatively humble myself into the ground. It is what it is.
Shit happens, shit explodes, shit gets resolved and as long as everyone takes it with a grain of salt and doesn't take things personally, shit will settle down and once calm things continue just like before. Normal people don't wanna be offensive to others nor wanna keep taking offense. We are social creatures and for the most part we want to get along.

I mean its the same thing like with people who need their morning coffee, or chocolate, or drink after work. This game is technically gambling and it scratches that particular itch subconsciously. And if you don't get your "shot" of whatever it is that scratches your itch (like the examples I just mentioned) the withdrawal symptoms start to slowly accumulate. Add to that the disappointment, and jealousy which is normal human emotion (not a good one, but it is the same for everyone regardless) and it brews into a rather ugly cocktail.
Once over and poured into the drain, you´ll just have to say your piece, to let the other party know there were no hard feelings, shake hands and keep on moving. That's how we do it.

I'm not only curious but take enjoyment in seeing the happiness of others get to choose the girl they've wanted for whatever reason they have. These a 2 lovely ladies I frustratingly could not obtain through their respective gachas when they were happening. As a ninja, of course I want my kunoichi waifu! :love: I mean come on! She has the whole aesthetic going to really grab my attention. Or she can do it with that sickle chain she has. Either way, I was hooked when I first saw her!

I know many people aren't a fan of her big round boobs, but I honestly have always liked Balloon-chan's overall design. She's very cute with her long braided ponytail and smile. Even her unusual eyes are attractive. And yes, her bombshell figure is very nice. While there are many others I wouldn't hunt down their alternate versions for, there are certainly a few I would and Balloon Vine is one of them! :kiss:

I planned to try her on the reissue gacha. Thanks to the stone, I can save more FG for a next gacha.
She is cute, she reminds me Shiro-chan and she has a nice ability set.

I haven't used the second one yet because I got EasterEvening Primrose just before the stones with saltickets. And there is no more 5* I really REALLY want and need. Most of the lasts girls I want are from 2015 (and I still have 3 2015 stones) and I will not use them anyway because I already have too much gold (I can't even use my new rainbows because there is no 5* I can or want to replace...).
I will keep it a bit. Maybe if there is a good 6* promotion or until I ran out of interesting girls to level up.

I used the second ticket for Sherry Bride version.
I do like this 5 star reskin of hers much more then the original 6 star version.
For me its all about collecting and picking up the girls I fancy even if just for their looks, regardless of if they are of use to me or not.

For downtime I run WS, special maps, equipment shards or some other utility map. With the level I have there ís no real reason to chase exp aggressively. Currently I am on vacation with limited internet access and should be returning during the salttickets weekend pull, so my activity here will be less then usual.

Today we got new girls promotions:

- Reeves Spirea
She is nice but... not that much. she could be a good Turn 1 girl but she has buff only for herself. Not good enough.

- Calla
Nice Solar Blast girl but not awesome. She is not the new Dogwood. And Coral Bush bride remains a better choice as promoted girl.

- Daliha
Really interesting girl. She has ATK reduction and x1.2 skill act + 30% ATK and another +30% ATK on bosses. And obviously she is really beautiful.
Now I don't know if I should promote her or Rainbow Rose. Dalhia is good for my Kerria team but Rainbow Rose is so broken... hard to decide. Rainbow Shards are so hard to gather...

I enjoy using the mobile version as well.
In the end I installed the DMM store version, which is as censored as the web browser version we're playing, so no change there.

I am missing some functionalities, for example the whale ship, changing the default looks of girls, the team editing options the web version has, and so on.
Then again I know it's just a matter of time until these get added. :)

The one thing I'm a bit worried about is that the game gets random heavy lag time periods, which freeze up the whole device and that really ruins the experience.
I'm hoping this gets patched if they ever find the reason.

How are you guys finding the mobile version so far?

I haven't got her either and that makes sense.
This is her perma-reprint, which means the her time-limited ones were already done - and that was before I started playing the DMM version.

Wallnut is a super legit Crit Girl.

15% Crit, 50%! Crit dmg and extra 15% Skill dmg. And a skill act... top Ability synergy. Plus she is a blunt type. Has pretty good stats, and one of the better more universal Ultimates in the game

Here I thought I will buy Shiro or Pigmy chan with my RC Medals, but I just might go with this girl instead, and get either of them later down the line, unless Lady Lucks throw one of them my way before that.

The new girls are nice. Not really awesome but okay.
Barley is really interesting as gold. Her bloomed form gives her +10% ATK, Skill Act and +40% ATK after two turns. That's a LOT of ATK for a gold.
Gourd is not good, not bad. Just average.
The new 6* Walnut seems to be the new must have for Crit Team but... i don't like her at all. Really good in battle but I don't like her design. And she is too loli, even for me.
Zebrina is actually really cool and really solid for an event girl. Maybe one of the best event girls. +40% ATK on bosses and x1.35 skill rate turn one with single target damage is very good. Her promoted form is interesting too but less good than her bloomed form (I mean, she is good but not that much compared to other 6* unless her 5* form compared to other event 5*).

The new limit of 300 girl is really nice. But if we don't get our FG back it will be painful. That's a lot of FG gone for ever :(

Yeah, that really is uncharacteristic of DMM FKG Devs if it holds true. Because lately, outside of a few instances, there haven't been many occasions where they give out many FGs like they used to. Does anyone know if the Japanese player base is raising a big stink about this too?

Well considering the sheer amount of FGems we get handed at regular basis, while it sucks if they dont refund them, it doesnt really bother me to be honest. DMM has been so good to its players that small hiccups (if you can even call it that at all) like these fall short compared to the love we get from the devs.
I am not saying it wouldn't be nice, just saying it doest really bother me.

Also did a pull to try fish out something, and got the Innkeeper chan (the busty lady in medieval fantasy dress with bear mug). I must say I do like that design, as its atypical for FKG and as such quite refreshing.
I dont really dig the design of 6* chan, but she is pretty much the second Loquat (might be better honestly, but you know what I mean with that if you have a crit team with Loquat in it.). I already talked about her a bit above so yeah. Great skill set.
The last girl is .... eh, I dont particularly have anything to say about her. Design wise she doesnt really strike my fancy.
The even girl looks dope as hell. Think Valkyrie but in green. Very very cool, and I like her design a lot! Her ultimate is a bit boring looking but that tends to be the trend for most event girls so... *shrugs*

I found something interesting... You can't do missions if you have more than 999 of the same manyu. That's a bit annoying considering I'm close to this number for all the lvl20 manyu...

I know this but 1 lvl100 Manyu gives less Xp than 3 lvl20 Manyu. Xp is more important than gold at this point with 36M of gold. Actually, I will just use lvl20 manyu only for a while instead of lvl5 and lvl100. That's annoying only because I have to change my leveling habits :p (and because this limit has no sense...).

Event missions and common stuff are easy enough to allow this kind of fantasy. I think it's better to use fun teams or girls I really like here and keep the best girls for WhaleShip/Aquashadows/other hards maps instead of throw all my rainbows to go on the whole game and let all the non good enough girls under a huge pile of dust and spider webs.

I already have a full rbbit team with Easter Primrose, Halloween Hare's Tail Grass, Easter Balloon Vine, Hare's Ear and Easter Helenium. Not awesome but really fun with 3 re-act girls.
I'm still seaching ideas for other themed teams.

I just realized, I guess I know why we got two copies of event girls now.
The event gives you two, the reissue gives you one and the perma reissue gives you a 4th one. Now, if you 6*promote all of them and fuse them, you will be able to get a 6* event girl with all slots unlocked without 6* dressbloom. It's hard, really expensive and take an eternity but you can do it for your event waifu (or if you are a well known giant blue whale).

So I decided to go for the perma ticket gacha after all.
Picked up Pymgy chan, because mofus.
Have enough RC to pick one more, but for now I will wait again for lady luck to show some favor. I would love to pick up Wallnut, but that can be done later down the line.
So atm, Dusty Miller and Wallnut are the two I have on my radar.
Since I decided to go full 4 crit team, I will slowly transform my counter team as well, with the intent to have 3 regular crit teams, and one that is loaded with 1st turn Crit buffs, since those tend to be massive, but only for the first turn (Things like Dusty Xmas, Accaccia, Corn cockle, etc).

I was also considering to open up 1 space in each team (exception might be the 1st turn one), to add one Barrier girl.
Now there is no second Barrier+Crit other than Kuko, so these girls would not benefit the damage output, but that Barrier skill is very very usefull and for a squishy team like a crit team, it can be the difference between surviving one turn to nuke the enemy into oblivion, or not.

Before anything else, I want to shed some light regarding Super Counter (link to discussion) (https://harem-battle.club/flower-knight-girl-dmm/2758-chat-chit-dmm-fkg-629.html). Rather than quote-reply to each post, I consolidated my response.

Super Counter indeed requires simultaneous triggering of Counter and Defend for its activation, and yes, it must also be explicitly stated in a unit's counter ability, which I feel is more important. Otherwise, counter units that don't meet the latter condition won't be able to SC no matter how often Counter and Defend proc together. My bloomed Saffron (the best example) cannot SC even though she has 100% Counter and a relatively high chance of Defend owing to her high def stat + Defense Up ability. I would argue though that SC isn't a true standalone ability ("accessory" might be a better word) as opposed to standard Counter, similar to how Guts/Resist only comes with the Defense Up ability.

For a short background: When Super Counter came into play last year, it was only given to some counter units, particularly the ones which lacked evasion, and it has been consistently maintained in subsequent character buffs or promotions. Eligible characters at the time included the following:
6★: Anemone, Soapwort, Ghost Weed, Viola (Yukata), Helenium, Mistletoe, Apple (Tanabata), Red Ginger
5★: Poppy, Rose, Devil in a Bush, Barrenwort, Rosy Lily, Cowslip, Echeveria, Sweet William Catchfly, Mikan, Ranunculus, Gaillardia, Mountain Lily
Of the 60 known counter units, only 12 are bound to gain counter + evasion in their current available final state, whether bloomed (B) or rarity-promoted (RP)...

Lion's Ear (B)

As for the ones without SC or evasion, what they will become will be a toss-up for now.


So out of curiosity, what have you all done with your spare event girls? I wouldn't be surprised if most focused on leveling up the 99% affection one. But what about the other 0%. Did you opt to keep them for future use or sell them? Mine are sitting where they are at as I am not what to do with them as of it. I'm not even sure still why the devs are doing this.

For a while, I nonchalantly kept those copies, but after accidentally using Comet-chan's synthesis flowers on her clone (0% affection) instead of the original (affection maxed), much to my dismay — it was like past 3 a.m. when it happened — I opted to scrap clones after Rainbow Rose, as I always do with copies of reprint event characters. I sure as hell don't want to make that mistake again, even if a fairly recent update now allows one to view a character's detail overlay from the gift screen by long-clicking on her icon.

I figured I like Rainbow Rose very much that I have both copies fully-specced (thanks to an extra set of synthesis flowers that were sent with the 0% affection clone). Promoting her (the original one) will be one of the things I plan to do on my special day very soon... boy am I excited! :o

Yeah, that really is uncharacteristic of DMM FKG Devs if it holds true. Because lately, outside of a few instances, there haven't been many occasions where they give out many FGs like they used to. Does anyone know if the Japanese player base is raising a big stink about this too?

I wasn't worried in the slightest. In my close to 2 years of playing this JP version, I have yet to be disappointed in the devs themselves even if I kind of want to beat them up for missing out on buffing my waifu's ATK. After every adjustment, they made sure to compensate us, or inform us of their intention to do so via the patch notes (refer to snippet). Remember when stacking of synthesis materials made expansions obsolete? Or when the 6 remaining sets were unlocked along with the nation adjustment? In line with those changes, we were refunded. On a distantly related note, shortly after the Rainbow Medal introduction, people who had used their Leader Tickets (me included) retrospectively received compensation medals depending on how "unlucky" we were with our tickets (getting a 5★ instead of a 6★, that is). This year, we retrospectively received RP crystals based on how many gacha draws we did for a period of time, in anticipation of the rarity promotion system. YourGames isn't perfect, but it has generally made good decisions.

This stated that along with the increase in default character storage from 50 to 300, those who had spent flower stones to increase character storage will be reimbursed on 10/19 at daily reset time (0400 JST). Due to the long delay, 100 flower stones were sent at the time as an apology.

I'm slightly miffed that this will be 2 weeks after my yearly age reminder (kek), but hey, at least there's something to expect.

After promoting, the only way to increase the character's skill level and equipment slots is with rainbow skill flowers and rainbow equipment flowers respectively.

It cannot be done with a character's duplicate (even if you have promoted it just to be fed to the original), another character with the same skill (as in the case of 2~4★ characters), or character-dedicated synthesis flowers (as in the case of event characters).

It looks like one of the goals of the new whaleship maps is making mono-type ships viable. With Flower Cannon functioning similar to a re-act ability, the difference between 16% and 100% trigger rate has become far more significant. My auto-arranged slashing ship seems less likely to be screwed by the RNG than my 16x slashing type one, despite losing 230k power.

Guaranteed Cowslip after five batch pulls? It's tempting but I'm somewhat unimpressed with her abilities. The delayed attack & damage boosts go better with debuffs and longer battles while the damage negation is for shorter nuke & die battles.

I had a question about what you wrote here:

By drawing only the added character gacha 55x, you can earn the 6★ as a bonus. For this batch, it's Cowslip (Maid).
- Drawing the once-daily (100 yen) added character gacha will count toward the 55x counter, but any draws outside of the added character gacha (bloom, reprint, etc.) won't.
- At the conclusion of the added character gacha, the 55-draw counter will be reset.
- You can still get rarity crystals and rainbow medals as warranted.

So If you draw the gacha with 55X, this many times you get the 6* as a guaranteed bonus huh ?

Well, granted.... the amount of FG to do 55x pulls and the sheer bad luck one would have to have to not get the 6* even once in those 55 pulls.... yeah thats some over the top stats right there.

If the 55x thing stacked and crossed over from event to event (meaning since today when it was launched, until you draw this typ of 55x gacha, fifty five times, regardless of the event that is currently going on, you would get that current event 6*, that would be a nice long term goal.)
If its bound to the actual event, like you have to pull THIS particular event gacha 55 times, and if the next event comes you have to pull that one 55 times. Yeh other than whales, its not doable. But if its any event gacha, that has the 55x symbol on it, then, just like the Rainbow Coins, this is something of a long term goal and a thing to strive to get. Even more so if you keep track of the number of pulls, should a gacha with a rainbow come that you really really like, you can count the pulls to reach 55 during that event to get her.
Granted this is all me just drawing conclusions and thinking out loud.

For 2,5k points (less if you have saved up Gems ore buy them in bulk) you get 55 pulls at increased rates and a specific 6* on top of that, but offer lasts two weeks only and won't return ever/anytime soon. From pure value point of view it's definitely worth it.

5,000 DMM points should net you 6400 flower stones if I got it right, so you will need 20,000 DMM points (25600 flower stones) for the rainbow bonus (which anyone can get for free if they save that many), which makes it pretty much a whale-only thing.

It should cost less if you have bought flower stones during shop promos (6000 flower stones for 3000 points). They rarely come around though. Don't forget bought [part of] flower stones will also expire after 180 days.

I decided to give that notice another read. Part of the notes is saying that "when the added character gacha [duration] ends, the draw counter will be reset," which appears to be hinting on this being a recurring thing. There was no mention of specific end dates in it, too.

Guess I worded myself poorly. What I meant is "that specific rainbow for 5 rolls" deal won't return.
Guaranteed 6*'s are (probably) here to stay, but if you want to get Maid Cowslip - or any new rainbow - for 250 Gems, you only have two weeks during her event. When she comes back for reissue, she will be available in normal priority gacha - without increased rates for pulling 5/6* in general or a guaranteed rainbow.

Due to the new 55X mechanic, if it is to stay, do you think the Devps will shift their current model, and start gem starving us ? Maybe not to the same level as Nutaku did, but certainly cutting down on the over abundance of FGems that we are so used to be getting.

They gave us another do things campaign with FG in it. And they gave us random FG for maintenance delay. So, I hope they will not change.
In one hand, this new gacha mechanics make 6* really easy to get for free player. In the other hand, it's so easy to get them that you could be tempted to spend a lot of FG on every event to taste the pleasure of a new 6*... and buy them when you ran out of FG. And in a third hand (don't ask me how I do), the 55x mechanics reset when you did 55 rolls and got the 6*. It's really easy to spend 1000 FG to get your favorite waifu full equipslot and skill. And then, you will need more FG for the nexts ones.

To say it in another way, free FG were a deep sea of salt and paid FG were even worse. I don't know for you guys but I NEVER wanted to buy FG (not ecause I'm 100% F2P but because it's just too unfair and a waste of money. Real salt is cheaper). Now, with enough FG (paid or not) you can get anything you want. It seems more woth it to buy FG if you are not patient when you know you will have your 6* at the end and it can motivate players to spend more money. Espacially whales.

Well as Kurenai said, a DMM points Ticket deal is still cheaper then if you would to go with the 55x options (having to buy full batch of gems to do those pulls).

So RC coins and Tickets are now mostly for older girls who didnt have the 55x mechanic, plus new ones if you have no gems to do the pull.
If you stockpiled the gems though you are set.

Currently I have enough for 1 6* via the 55x mechanic (would have more but rolled before I read the rules... would have not wasted them on this girl otherwise and save up for some new Crit girl...... ah Valnut.... my sweat sweat Valnut *cry*sob*sob... will have to be burning RC coins to get her).

Did my 5 daily pulls for GS

Managed to get a gold today. And was feelling pretty good about it.
Did not expect the third pull to turn Rainbow.

Its one of the 2 out of 6 pre-game gacha girls I really didnt want (dont like her looks), but still happy about it, I mean looks aside it a bloody rainbow. Will still try to roll till the game launches, to maybe swap her with one of the ones I like more if lucky, but even if that didnt work, I am grateful. Now this is a nice welcome back gift for a returning player :3

I didn't realize but actually Maid Cowslip is really interesting. Her increases Damage for allies by 15% each turn, 45% max is really nice. +45% damages. Not ATK but damages. For everyone. And not only against bosses. After 3 turns she is like 3 girls with +15% damages during boss battles... but alone by herself. Really interesting.

About GS, I only played for FKG crossover. It was cool but a bit harder than FKG. Not sure if I will play it or not yet. I try gacha anyway but I got only a 4*. A cute loli with a piano monster.

Ok, I did my 55-pull to check the science that is this new mechanic.
As for the results, I can say it can be a good deal, but only if you really want the featured 6*.
Every roll I had was a gold pot, though I only got two new golds out of it, excluding the event girls.
As for the event girls, I rolled Spring Starflower twice and Oregano 7 times (which was just enough to fully unlock her by the way).
I was hoping for more diversity with those increased rates, but the priority kinda worked outside my favor here.
Personally, I won't be aiming for the 55-pull anymore, unless I really take a liking to the featured rainbow.

As a sidenote for those who have not tried it - the 6* is not included in any of the draws and is simply awarded the same way as rainbow crystals and rainbow coins after the draw.
After the 55th pull, the gacha stays as it was and the counter on it resets back to 55.

The question is now whether those pulls are still legible for pulling other 6* and if those are under the increased 1% chance. Or whether those 55x do not allow pulling any 6* until the end where you are awarded the featured one.

I guess we will find out once someone pulls a random rainbow from 55x

As far as I know, you can get a 6* from those pulls with doubled rates, though it will still be affected by the priority.
And yes, I recall someone already getting Cowslip in this gacha before reaching 55 pulls.

It happened twice. I don't remember who got a random Shiro-chan and then the Maid Cowslip reward and I got a random Maid Cowslip and the Cowslip reward.
If you do the 55 rolls, you will have the featured 6* no matter what you get in you rolls before. it's just a "paid 250 FG for the 6* and get 5 rolls as bonus".

Hi. Long time no see eveyone.
Let's go out of topic first... I start to play Azur Lane for this past 2 weeks. JP server for sure because why not.

In topic, I don't like this new 55 pull for guarantee 1 current event rainbow.
It make rainbow coin almost useless, because normaly player use rainbow coin to trade for newly rainbow girl if they want it badly.
But I think this mechanic might work well with special tap gacha.

Anyway, I think this kind of guarantee pull do available in Aigis.
