A good point, now you can choose how much gifts you want to give to a girl. You don't need to spam them anymore. Just give them a bunch of the same damn toy once.

A slightly disappointing detail, rarity don't appears in battle scene with the new HP bar and faces system :(. Not good for beginners or when you use an ally team.
And there is too much things to accept just to level up a girl. TOO MUCH.
Also, you can't see how much girls you have on the girl sale screen. And you still can't sale more than 20 girls by 20 girls... why? Why they do that when you got them 100 by 100 on Seed gacha?

Well, honestly it's just the same thing that's been in the mobile version all this time.
I can't say I like all the changes as I see room for improvement, but stepping down from Flash was a huge step.

Ever since I switched from Firefox to Chrome I haven't had any speed issues so that's nice.

As for quirks, I haven't noticed much out of the ordinary aside from things like Ivy's Gungnir Weiss no longer having that smack sound at the end and any Knight that has a unique animation when they're hurt being frozen in that animation until their turn in battle comes up.

How odd. For me, it seems to play faster and have more detail. There are a few places where you have to click more buttons but it seemed pretty intuitive to get into the menus and make things work. I like it overall.

I still have sound issues. With sonds playing randomly. Like Pickerel Weed's skill sound when I level up her. Or explosion sound playing during missions. During ALL the mission. And Whaleship bosses don't have animation. It's... sad. Poor bosses.
But I guess it's fine. Even with some design flaws, it's still pleasant to play and intuitive for almost everyting, even for non japanese players.

I'm not sure why but I can play with max settings on Chrome with minimal slowdown. If I try playing this on Firefox though, even on minimum settings, the game is a slog and a lot of the character graphics are blurry (especially Eryngii's fourth unique garden animation where it looks like her cardboard box is censored).

Finally got that flash drag off my PC so I don't have to use Puffin anymore. (It still works good though too)
Checked those new RGs, cant use any of them, but Rosemary looks good for those so inclined.

It's highly likely but as long as one of the two browsers is working fine I'm not bothered. Plus, this way I can use Firefox to browse stuff like the JP wiki while running stages in-game on Chrome.

Turn the refresh rate from your monitors down to 60Hz if the game is too fast. Worked for me after I found this thread where 2 people have issues with the game being too fast:

Dress blooms are premium. Target your waifu and lower the cost best you can with seal stones.
If its current you can but blooms in the FG Clearing house. If its featured in the 30 FG gacha, roll baby roll.
Reprint girls are 615 and there are great ones to be had there as well.
Rainbow Rose will be coming around again sooner with an event seal stone or later as a perm reprint. :grin:

Alright, thanks for the advice. I'm thinking to start amphying waterlily and use sealstone15 that i havent use for dressbloom. And with another sealstone15 in whaleshop, it should be lower enough cost.

From what I gathered from the notice, there are only a few recommendations:
- try changing the animation and quality settings ingame
- depending on your browser try disabling the acceleration options (though it's not recommended supposedly):
a) Chrome - disable the hardware acceleration option
b) Firefox - disable the recommended performance setting
c) Edge - enable software rendering instead of GPU rendering

Yeah she's nice and you need her bad when you are starting out. I had her on my initial 1st team along with Kugaisou.

I think RG Gacha has had the 'x2 Centy' bonus reward about 4 times now, so that'd make 8 Centies coming from there alone. There's also the 60 Baby Centies you can buy from the Flower Gem exchange every event, which is 1.2 Centies every month. I only ever give them to my waifus and my helper squad is always going to be made up of waifus instead of well-synergized girls :D.

As for Vicky - even though I very much dislike the yandere/sadist/crazy personalities, Vicky Bride is my favourite one just because of how beautiful she looks.

Unless you can read JP, you will most likely have to guess and if the guess was wrong just brute force it by repeating the stage as many times as necessary. When you loose due to wrong answer the stamina is returned so you can try as many times as required to get the good result.

As far as looks go for this event, Kudzu is very nice. Has that pseudo fox girl look which I do like :3

If your browser is clearing cache and site data on a regular basis, that'll cause it. The settings used to be saved in a separate place by Flash.

I didn't see but there is new special stages for the new super-pest event. It's a ton of little missions that gives you Rose medals. That's cool. It looks a bit like the second phase of Nidhogg. It seems there is special stuff for each stages but I don't understand japanese and my team destroy everything on the low level stages.
And there is a global score shared by all the players like Nidhogg phase 1.
I like this.

For the ticket, I guess I will be on the Anemone team. I wanted her and Taragon for a Crit+Counter team. It's the best occasion to get one of her easily.

I had no idea how this works at first, and wasted a lot of stamina on normal mode. Switched to hard, and I have to say - I understand, they don't want people to accidentally reset their progress. But the amount of things you have to click through to change it...

Some hints for hard mode - negate damage is your best friend. Some pests attack before you do, and sometimes attack twice. It also prevents blue bar from decreasing. Speaking of which, life leech is your second best friend, as it lets you restore said blue bar. Put you life stealing knights in first slots on the team, so they actually get to use their skills, deal damage and heal before pests die.

Since I dont use these type of skills on my squads, this helps a lot. Pretty much the whole idea of using one team as pure support that heals you up is genius. Big Kudos!

Managed to make one pretty decent out of 5*, of which only 2 are event types, the rest is regular gacha ones (in the end did go and look at each and every single girl I have individually.). Lets see how much healing I can get from 1 girl who makes the nodes and 4 girls who buff that healing (if it stacks that is, I know for sure the nodes even dont on these maps, not sure about maps with more empty nodes, but on these particular ones, you wont get more than 2 empty slots usually.)

Edit: Ok so it seems the healing buffed effect does not stuck. Shame

If you don't mind spending a bit extra, then Hydrangeas RG is flexible enough to used anywhere. 2x skill act for party when hit can allows for higher damage potential from a counter party, but can be use anywhere else as well. She can also provide dmg buff if the fight takes many turns.

With enough def buffs or debuff, she can be your dedicated tank with the help of drain from skill and guts. Max her skill, have 2 1.2x skill act and put provoke on her will allow her to 100% constantly heal.

I've got Saffron, Usagigoke, Rainbow Rose, Pinkladies and Kerria in squad 1 and that's all that's needed. :p
Evade x 4, provoke, negate and life leech x 3 make these maps a breeze.

I just run my helper team and Maid Cowslip died once against a boss with really hight ATK. Hard mode is very nice and funny compared to normal mode but it's far from Nushi or side.scene maps. It's a bit sad because I wanted to have more trouble and use different teams but I'm still glad because I was afraid of a side.scene level for ALL the maps (meaning near of impossible for me).

I just run my helper team and Maid Cowslip died once against a boss with really hight ATK. Hard mode is very nice and funny compared to normal mode but it's far from Nushi or side.scene maps. It's a bit sad because I wanted to have more trouble and use different teams but I'm still glad because I was afraid of a side.scene level for ALL the maps (meaning near of impossible for me).

Anyway, is there a name for this new special super boss event? Or a name for this new main boss?

maybe next week it will get harder.

Weakness damage isn't universally applicable considering the likes of Nidhogg core stage or quiz stage bosses exist that have no weak points. Pygmy is much less useful in those cases.

Yes pygmy is best crit support imo and the only one I considered getting two of, but in the end going Apple/King Protea for that.
If you run into no crit map just sub her out just like Sensi and Fennel yukata. I use Colchicum and Nukers for that.
When I get a couple I need out of the way, I really like the RG on Pickerel Weed for alternate

I usually add the "r" at the end for Niddhoggr because that's how they pronounce it in the game. :p

And another super pest boss monster down. This one is horrible. Especially phase 1. If you want a tiny little advice, throw you best Crit team first and pray to kill it as soon as possible. Defensive teams don't works at all on it's first form and it's able to kill Saffron ith tons of DEF buff in one hit (and dont rely on evasion, it don't really works here).

Seriously, 300k points to get everything from this event, it's too hard. It's 1500 max for one stage, including the stage with the super hard boss. How are we supposed to do without loosing all our team life and our point bonus on this? Even with a full team of rainbows it's very hard.
Not the hardest stuff if you do it once, but it's clearly far harder than every Nushi if you want to clear everything without dying. Good point for it but bad point for taking so much time.

You can skip the last boss fight and still keep your streak. My steak is at 130 and I've only killed the final boss one time. That being said the grind is still pretty tedious.

It will return you to 5 stages before that boss without resetting your streak. Then you just play 5 easy 80-stamina missions (each giving 500 medals and 1500 points), get to the super-powerful final boss, click the green button, and repeat. The final boss seems to give the same rewards as the easy stages (500 medals and 1500 points) so it's not worth your time to fight it more than once.


If you're finding that the easy 80-stamina stages are getting hard because you're losing HP too quickly, you can do three things:
1) Put strong life-steal girls in your first party with [heal-boost] (Rainbow Rose, Kugaisou, Alpinia, etc.)
2) Put a negation girl in your first party (Habranthus, Wolf Berry, Apricot, etc.) to prevent damage from pests that attack first. An evasion girl with [taunt] works too.
3) Put a girl that spawns healing panels in your second, third, or fourth party (Chocolate Cosmos, Lantana, Lantana Festival, etc.)

If you can, you should do all 3 so you never drop below 95% health like here:

Even with the boss clear, all you have to do is start from the first mission and work you way down. By the time you get to the boss again you squad will be around 90-97% HP if you have one "Healing Nodes" and one "Buff Healing nodes" girl in your team.

Its a shame the boss doesnt give more though.
Yesterday I was watching some stuff on Ytube, and kept mindlessly clicking the event, refilling with stamina pots and clicking again. Once I made the full run from the First 10 Stamina map till the Boss map, I reset and did the whole thing again.

Reading the above I suppose I can skip the low stamina missions entirely, and just go with the Last 80 stamina mission listed, since each of those have a set of several submission, that should be plenty to heal up.

Anyway. Love this event. So many Ampys and super Ampys! Since I picked up Kerria from the free 2015 Rainbow Ticket and still need to finish Tarragon and Anewaifu with the Ampies.

So funny story regarding this event...

While I was grinding for points in this event, I got stuck in what TV Tropes would describe as "Unwinnable By Insanity".

My overall team was low on hit points due to fight that eldrich horror of worms and winning by a hare, instead of going for a low stamina mission for my lead team to recover some health for the upcoming missions, I thought my team would still do well enough to recover enough health to clear some of the higher difficulty missions, but due to something called "RNG" that was a terrible idea.

My first team was able to clear enough damage for the second team to finish off the first group of pests. But then the final pest group pretty much finished off my second team... Except one.

One Flower Knight stood where the others fall, A knight of Evasion and Regeneration, A knight of pure stubbornness. Her name is Adenium. Those intersected worm duos were unable to kill her... But then arises another problem.

Those pests just. WONT. DIE. Seriously, they can regenerate about half of their health at the end of each turn (except one time, for whatever reason). And they were unable to do enough damage to my stubborn knight, even if they do enough damage, she can just recover her health through a combination of her health drain skill and natural health regen ability.

Even at her best (and when RNG wants to be kind) Adenium was only able to do 80 to 85% of the pests health, but it was never enough damage. And DON'T get me started on her targeting different pests instead of just one.

To summarize: It was a near virtual stalemate. I only manage to beat those pests one at a time with the 300% sun nuke when they were low enough. But do you know how long that took me? That entire battle lasted TWO HOURS.

Anyway, just wanted to share this ridiculous tale.

I attempted the uber boss... Boy, I'm having flashbacks from very first Nidhogg. Two teams got slaughtered, and first form is at 80% HP. Nope. Nope. Nooope.

The overall strategy is not to use any defensive setup on first phase, you want to take phase 1 out asap due to -999% def debuff applied on your party. It only has around 750k hp, although it does have +100% defense buff. Negate should help here, apply provoke on girls that doesn't do as much damage to slow down the boss killing off your party as it only attack 1 girl at a time on phase 1.

The last two phases are much easier as the lethal debuff won't be applied beyond phase 1, phase 3 still debuff def by -70%. Also keep in mind that it also has +100% accuracy on phase 1 and 3, so evade is not viable, although you can still cheese phase 2 with it.

Counter works fine in phase 2 and 3, it will also target all girls in phase 2, and two girls in phase 3.

Below is an example of a counter party against all 3 phases. As you can see, the last 2 phase can be cleared without needing all 5 girls.

I am running 3 crit teams, none defensive. although the lead team (with RR) can one shot boss, it doesn't happen very often. Too RNG dependent.
More common it dies in the 2nd and sometimes 3rd team.
I am adding a couple more single target crit girls before it comes round again.

It's nice to have challenge maps like these, though I still think they're too heavily reliant on how many rainbows you have - this time even on which rainbows you have, as some couldn't even stand against Midzwolm in the final battle. I still think logical puzzle-like challenges would be more welcome. :p

By the way, did anyone come across bosses on these maps that took only 1 HP of damage each time?
What ability was that? Kerria's special damaged them normally, but RR's did only 1 point of damage, making it look more like a bug (pun not intended).

Yes, there are two different sets of them. They buff themselves for negate and 1st turn 100% def, nothing on turn 2, then reapply buffs such as 100% atk, 100% def permanently starting turn 3.

This version contains two of them, with the buffs mentioned above, they also have very high base def. However, they can still be killed off with absurd amount of buffs.

This is the other version, which contains three of them, and they act before the player. However, only the two slash pest has def buff, the blunt one doesn't but has provoke instead. Their def is much lower though since they get to act before the player.

I'm done with this event too. It was long but less boring and painful than expected. Missions are shorts (well, as long as you don't face thoses horrible healing worms) and the random order make it funny. Even if it's the same bunch of stages grinded again and again, it's more varied and far less boring than regular event grinding. That was a good thing.
The other good thing is the utility of healing panels. After all this time, it became usable with an actual and decisive purpose. That was a great idea. First time ever I play healing panels indead of Solar panel.
Like Volarmis said, RRose did everything against Earthworm and saved all Spring Garden. She really deserve her name and her 6th star. I wand to add a very special mention to Kerria, RGPinkladies, Saffron, Camelia and Maid Cowslip (espacially Maid Cowslip for doing her best aside these monsters) for doing the whole event alone. Three times. I never enjoyed this team that much.
Now, the event is goind to end and we will be back to our regular FKG stuff without trouble. That's a bit sad. I really liked this special event as I liked Nidhogg the first time it came, despite my first thoughts on it on first half.

Definitly one of my favorite event with first Nidhogg, first Nae event and RRose event.


edit: Ah, and f*ck thoses super tanky beetle of hell just above. Certainly the worst things here, just before the final boss itself. I hate thoses guys.

Done here as well, mashed it out yesterday.
Had to swap RR in for the grind (could do the boss without her in the first team as well but this sped up things rather nicely, but oh boy. Mace Loli and RR combo... if luck procced, managed to cut through the 2 first stages and half dead nuke the 3rd one.
As long as you have enough single target nukers and a Negate girl to buy them one turn the boss becomes a non issue.

Good dual event. With the Nae chan and Mizuworm rewards combined I managed to pump up some of the girls that were stuck there through the first Ampy stage, and into the Super Ampy tier.

Just finished the event with half an hour to spare, after hours of grinding. Not very happy right now, I must say. I was right at the sweet spot where I couldn't really do the hard missions and where the normal missions were completely trivial. And to add insult to injury, I had to spend 20 gems to get the skill flower and burned through the entire supply of stamina potions I had been hoping to spend on the discounted whaleship.

In case people aren't aware of the link yet, there's another DMM Games campaign until August 30 involving giveaways in select games. Ummm, as far as I know every time you get 3 equipment and 4 skill blooms, for both the reprint and permanent event missions.
I might be missing something here...
Or is this about how you get a second event girl each event nowadays which counts as a potential +1/+1 after synthesis?

I think what kuresuta is asking about is why limited time reprints (currently Baikasou's event) have four dressblooms and five skillblooms available while permanent reprints and current events only have three dressblooms and four skillblooms available.

That might be because of the +1+1 that Volarmis mentioned. Essentially you are always getting a dupe event girl these days, which can be pretty much translated as an extra skill/dressbloom.
Now what that is a thing only with the time limited reprints and not the permanent ones....... who knows. If thats how the devs decided to do it, thats how its gonna be :)

I haven't noticed that since I already have the limited-reprint event girls and only buy out the equipment plus the girl for bond crystals.
