when they say premium poll drawn, they mean a 10+1 draw?

It's a single pull.

Hidden behind a paywall.... will they ever learn ?

Had I not yet have her, I might have gone for this. Important question is though are the blooms are 100% drop and skill up ? She is pretty solid 6* with AoE ult and party wide buff. Plus she has amazing voice over and the voice actress nicely imitates the Yandere impression she is meant to give.

Not a bad deal when compared to their usual standards its definitely improvement. Still expensive though.

Blooms are a guaranteed reward after the single pull (I pulled bronze Ipomoea Nil :( ) going to your giftbox.
The next pull is a 100% Victoria pull going straight to your collection, so not through the giftbox.

So a rainbow skillbloom and a rainbow dressbloom for 4500 NGold, which is a bit expensive (If I were to value them, I'd put them at 1,000-1,500 NGold a piece), but the Victoria pull after does make up for that, so overall, I don't think it's a really bad deal.

And yes, Victoria is a very solid girl. Not special in any way, but an AOE + ATK buff + DEF buff is very solid and should fit in about every team.

yeah the blooms are 100% chance which is good for her because her skill chance is 22% default rather than the standard 24%. would have been nice to have a gold ticket rather than the one premium pull though

This is less of a step-up and more of an alternate take to the Ardisia gacha we had a few weeks ago. Obviously not 25% off anymore, but paying for the rainbow skill/dressbloom first isn't a bad deal.

I don't need Victoria though. Lavy is the only yandere Flower Knight for me (unless we want to loosely count Dipladenia's dependency moe).

Adding to the list.

1. Ticket #1 (7/01 - 7/08): Anemone / Cactace / Cattleya / Dendrobium

4. Step-Up #2 (9/02 - 9/09): Kerria
5. Ticket #3 (9/08 - 9/17, player-voted): Alpinia / Anemone / Flowering Peach
6. Step-Up #3 (9/15 - 9/22): (Bridal) Cactace, $110 total
7. Ticket #4 (9/29 - 10/06): Cherry / Daisy / Dianthus
8. Step-Up #4 (10/06 - 10/13): Dogwood + ten $5 bonus steps for possible rainbow skill/dressbloom
9. Step-Up #5 (10/13 - 10/20): Black Baccara

So if you look at this as a Step-Up (which as EAB says, it's really not though it TECHNICALLY is), you trade the 3-5* girls for Rainbow dressbloom and skillbloom (essentially being a Rainbow dupe of your choice), which is actually a very good trade for any player that's been around a while (since to be fair, you generally got 3/4*s and MAYBE a 5* and most of those were dupes anyways), ending with the typical Step-Up $60 price tag.

Dress and Skill blooms are 100% guaranteed to unlock equip slot/level up skill, so the two together IS a Rainbow dupe of your choosing, so this is a decent deal. I still say they need some REALLY good deals to redeem themselves after repeatedly shooting off their own limbs during holiday season with the super-crap nonsense of December.

It's still a bad deal in general. I also noticed that Nutaku has completely stopped providing us with promotional codes (i.e., cross promotional ties with gaming sites, social media campaign, etc.)...

There's so much wrong with this post that I don't even know where to begin.

For starters, FKG hasn't had an event drought ever.

Serial codes don't dictate when a game is going to be dropped, and FKG isn't the only game that hasn't had serial codes in a while anyway (granted, the only other one I know that receives codes is Pero, but that's obviously still going). Aigis outright removed the serial code option a while ago, and while it was looking dead for a while, it's been making some progress lately.

There are actual separate teams for these games. There's just a lack of regulation and some are more serious about their updates than others.

No, you don't understand. Back when Kanpani Girls launched, Nutaku made it a point that they were going to be very active on the social media platform (FB, Twitter for starters, and possibly Instagram, Snapchat, etc. down the road) At first, there were a lot of promotional events surrounding Kanpani Girls, where fan art submissions, contests, etc., were all part of the campaign. During that time period, codes were an invaluable tool that they used to generate hype, and it seemed to work at first. There was definitely a lot of buzz surrounding Kanpani wherever you looked on the major MMO/F2P gaming sites.

Fast forward just 6 months after, and all promotional efforts just ceased to exist. Over the course of the next year, KG suffered lack of updates, lack of content, and eventually even their events stinked. Daily logins? You get nothing aside from the rigged "free" draw (unlike other games - mind you, DMM still gives you presents, even right now)

When FKG rolled out at first, there were codes given out, lots of buzz, but generally more subdued than KG. However, what saved FKG was the fact that it enjoyed a surprising amount of support from the community, and thus has managed to still receive updates and resources from Nutaku. But to me, that's only a temporary stay on execution, which is why I call it the slow boat out.

The other older games seem to have a lack of player participation (eventually some have been shuttered quietly) You have to understand, the number of titles that have rolled out in just the past year alone, when compared with the previous 2 years prior, have just been a hurricane, and you cannot sustain that kind of outlet on a generally set number of players. I know many people who see these games as either perverted or that they wouldn't even dare go near it in the presence of family. That means those that are playing these games are in a small "niche" group. Having too many titles available further divide eyeballs, so when newer titles get released, older titles suffer, and let's face it, you can only play so many of these titles on any given day, and while you can surely hop around due to stamina issues, once you've hit later stages of many games, stamina no longer becomes an issue, or it doesn't become the main obstacle to progression.

You cannot deny that with every new release, the population in the older titles will see a decline in interest, and that's just the nature of the gaming industry.

And to your point about codes ... the DMM titles still have codes to go around, new ones, especially whenever they have their events like on NicoNico or promotional tie-ins with manga, CD music, etc.

That's a whole lot of text for stuff that I already know. And basically none of that is valid to compare FKG to Kanpani.

Yeah, there's an inevitable decline of interest, but that doesn't necessarily mean updates will slow down or cease. That's a really bad case of correlation = causation you're making. Hell, if anything, I've been seeing more ads for FKG lately, and it's still sitting pretty healthily in the top 5. Just because they stopped giving out promo codes doesn't mean they've stopped support entirely. It seems, for better or worse, they've been letting individual teams handle sales and freebies within the community, instead of through promos. Remember they didn't *have* to give everyone a 5*+ ticket for Xmas.

Nutaku is still active on the whole free stuff + contests on social media stuff. You're either just not seeing or ignoring the ones that don't have to do with the games you're used to. Because the major thing you're omitting is that Nutaku has spent the past year branching out to other adult game makers besides what's on DMM. They stream whatever VN is new on their store, and only occasionally go back to the older games like Aigis and whatnot. And if they're not giving free copies of said VN, they usually give free Nutaku gold or w/e else instead.

I don't know how it is that Kanpani stagnated so badly, and I doubt any of us will get to the complete truth. But nothing you've said points to FKG going down the same path anytime soon.

About Kanpani, I remember reading that they were given 1 year of content and they rushed it in the first month...so my guess is after the next 11 month with nothing, the playerbase was too small to bother bringing new content.

That's the rumor, anyway. How Nutaku managed to fuck up that badly to begin with is the real question, though.

But like I said, FKG's been having constant events since day one, over the course of over nine months. I think it's safe to say it's actually one of Nutaku's healthiest games, nowhere near the likes of Kanpani.
