UPDATE

Part 2 is the standard $50 rate, and the choices are Kerria, Dianthus, Alpinia, and Cattleya.

---

Good news: A ticket gacha for the first time in months!
Bad news: No guaranteed rainbows.

Today’s Gacha will comprise of four 5★ Flower Knights which accidentally happen to be loved by the development team. You can DRAW 11 for 3000 Nutaku Gold (that’s 2000 Nutaku Gold off… as in 1+1+1+1+1+ (…) +1 = a lot of 1s off the original price) then pick one out of Evening Primrose (#blame_nameless), Setaria, Rose or Violet!

Still, that's actually pretty good if you're gunning for one of those four.

Personally, I have all but Evening Primrose, but sure, I could spend for her.

As usual, the list.

1. Ticket #1 (7/01 - 7/08): Anemone / Cactace / Cattleya / Dendrobium
2. Step-Up #1 (8/05 - 8/12): Random (up to and including Daisy)
3. Ticket #2 (8/12 - 8/19): Fritillaria / Sakura / Mei Plumblossom
4. Step-Up #2 (9/02 - 9/09): Kerria
5. Ticket #3 (9/08 - 9/17, player-voted): Alpinia / Anemone / Flowering Peach
6. Step-Up #3 (9/15 - 9/22): (Bridal) Cactace, $110 total
7. Ticket #4 (9/29 - 10/06): Cherry / Daisy / Dianthus
8. Step-Up #4 (10/06 - 10/13): Dogwood + ten $5 bonus steps for possible rainbow skill/dressbloom
9. Step-Up #5 (10/13 - 10/20): Black Baccara
10. Ticket #5 (10/20 - 10/27): Dendrobium / Ionocidium / Fritillaria
11. 5* Step-Up #1 (10/27 - 11/3): Four steps, $66 total, 1-2 random golds + a choice of any gold (prior to Lantana / Apple of Sodom)
12. 10+1 FG roll guaranteed gold special (11/3 - 11/10): Bridal Oncidium, 20% chance vs. 80% random gold

14. 5* Ticket #1 (11/17 - 11/24): Single roll, $30 each (up to three times), pick any gold (prior to Epidendrum / Snapdragon)
15. Black Friday ticket special (11/25 - 11/28): $10 11-roll, pick any rainbow except Lycoris / Bridal Oncidium

17. Step-Up #7 (12/15 - 12/22): Christmas Rose + three steps, 1x secret gift each, NO guaranteed golds

20. Ardisia New Year (1/5 - 1/12): Ardisia only, 25% off ($45), free rainbow skill+dressbloom
21. Nutaku 2nd anniversary (1/13 - 1/16): $30 11-roll, pick one of the five launch rainbows (Black Baccara, Alpinia, Cactace, Mei Plumblossom, Sakura)
22. Step-Up #8 (1/19 - 1/26): Victoria only, step 1 ($45) = single roll (standard rates) + rainbow skill/dressbloom, step 2 ($15) = Victoria
23. Developer's Ticket, part 1 (1/26 - 2/2): $30 11-roll, choose from Evening Primrose, Setaria, Rose, or Violet
24. Developer's Ticket, part 2 (2/2 - 2/9): $50 11-roll, choose from Kerria, Dianthus, Alpinia, or Cattleya

Wondering whether we can roll it only once, or multiple times. And even whether we could pick the same girl multiple times (usually that's not possible)

Hmm i think we won't get a Bride Oncidium Gacha then???

Yeah my last purchase will be Maple i guess.

From those 4 Girls the only one i like is Primrose. I already have her so i am not interested.

We already had a bridal Oncidium gacha. And it was one of their better deals too. I wouldn't expect her again for a while.

Read closely. It's a single 11-roll for $30, THEN you get a ticket to exchange for ONE of those four. Traditionally you can't double-dip on ticket gachas to pick another, except for the one time they let you pick from any gold three times.

Yeah i know but 20 % is not guaranteed you know and i had no FGs back then. Buying FGs and Gambling for 20 %? = Nah.

Maybe i'll get Fox Girl in the far future.

If you happen to want one of the 4 picks, then it's a better deal than the $30 for just the 5* from just before Black Friday.

Oh, and I picked Evening Primrose.

Evening Primrose would be my choice but I already have her. A solid unit in terms of team usefulness.

Evening Primose and Setaria - I don't have

Won't spent $ on dis Gacha since it's no Rainbows (well, I have 4 Rainbows so I won't spending any $ until a super deal like Black Fri comes next year) so yeah, I'm spent

In all fairness, its a 10+1 draw and a 5*

If you plan on spending for a 10+1 draw anyway this is a pretty good deal cause 10+1 draws are 50$ and you have another guaranteed 5* in the bargain. Personally, though, I don't value 10+1 draws that highly - had too many bad experiences where I got nothing but 3 and 4 star characters from them, so the only thing that gets me excited is Evening Primrose.

Honestly, they say:

Pick one out of the four 5* FK favored by the development team at a DISCOUNT.
... And so, where is the DISCOUNT? There is no DISCOUNT at all here, that's still 30€ for a 5*, the "standard" Nutaku price for them, even if there is an extra 10+1 Roll. Oh, and note in this regard, after almost 1 year, they still can't wrote a clear explanation about the Gatcha: there is no information about 1 or 10+1 Roll, not even in the IMPORTANT panel.

Anyway I don't understand how Nutaku set their prices. For them a 6* (60€) is only worth two 5* (30 €) while in Gatcha they are worth TWELVE 5*! (0.5% vs 6%).

You guys are really splitting hairs for no reason. It's pretty obviously a discount for the 11-roll, which, as stated, is $50 max. If you don't value an 11-roll at that price, that's fine. I don't blame you. We've all been burned by 11-rolls before.

But making complaints about Nutaku "gaming the rates" when these particular kinds of sales really aren't all that different from DMM's is getting old by this point.

Direct your complaints towards bad step-ups, not $30/$50 ticket gachas that are also usually ~5000 DMM points.

Technically it's around $42-43 per 5,000 DMM points according to currency exchange rates, with the first purchase receiving 500 DMM points for free. However, there is a constant stream of deals on DMM games, with additional opportunities from promotions and marketing events directly affecting the purchase of DMM points (you can receive free points in various ways). You always pay discount if you're a savvy customer and have no problems navigating your way through Japanese websites and social media.

Unfortunately, Nutaku does not have very many deals with their N Gold (they had only a couple of very limited time deals that I can remember); mostly their in-game purchases will have a form of discount.

Still a discount all the same. Besides, I'm not expecting Nutaku to take exchange rates to that degree into account. Plenty of companies already don't do that.

Well, after some nice Kamihime rolls this morning, I went ahead and did my roll here.

Got gold, but it was just a Scarlet Tulip dupe. Oh well, Evening Primrose get.

I guess we could reuse this thread.

Round 2 is Kerria, Dianthus, Alpinia (again?), and Cattleya.

I already have Dianthus and Alpinia, I don't care for Kerria, so that leaves me with Cattleya. I guess I could finish up the Cattleya household (ignoring Baccara), but with Kamihime coming soon, I'm not sure if I want to spend so quickly. I'll sleep on it, I guess.

She's neat, and it's pretty obvious why many players like her. Once you get her skill up a little and her special attack starts triggering more regularly, she'll keep fighting for a long time as well.

Are the ticket gachas you are thinking of ones with a guaranteed gold ticket at the end of it? (like the recent FG one).
i.e. just a random gold.
If so, I don't think that's a reasonable comparison. They're obviously comparing to their sort of default pricing for a fixed single rainbow of $60,
and if you happen to want one of these 4 I'd say it's a fair comparison. Whether or not it's a good value is a different matter.
Personally I'll pass - already have Alpinia and Dianthus, and as below: I don't need more slice rainbows particularly. (Bridal Onci is the only one on my wishlist because of enemy attack down).
Cattleya will have to pass on since I'm still leveling Ardisia.

No, rainbow ticket gachas in the past have typically been $50 regardless. That was the case for:

1. Ticket #1 (7/01 - 7/08): Anemone / Cactace / Cattleya / Dendrobium
3. Ticket #2 (8/12 - 8/19): Fritillaria / Sakura / Mei Plumblossom

All their recent ads suggest that 60 is their current nominal price point for a rainbow.

Personally went with Cattleya on the current. Wanted Alpinia more, a lot more, but I already managed to get Dianthus on a single pull by the time I'd unlocked all of my squads and thought more type diversity would be better for me. Doesn't seem suprising my last two 10+1 rolls have had nothing but 3* girls. Didn't start that long, though, as Dianthus at level 31 is still my highest leveled matchin Dahlia who I still feel lucky to have pulled as my guaranteed. Question, though: is it better to stick both my rainbows in my helper squad or should I mix them up for a better overall roster?

put all your best characters in your helper squad, only use your set 1 for helper squad/total power display. use set 2-6 for your squads you actually use in missions

Cattleya is a very good unit who goes with about any squad.
Dianthus her strength is her healing on small pest nodes, which will prove very useful on some maps, especially farming map 12-5. If you get a girl who reduces the damage taken from small pests by 50% (Like Toad Lily, Apple of Sodom or Japanese Iris), then make sure to put her in one team with Dianthus. Those two abilities put together are really lifesavers on pest-heavy maps.

Whether you should put Dianthus and Cattleya together in one squad? Well, that's really up to you. Some of your allies will probably be happy if you do. But if you feel that having two strong squads will help you to 3-medal maps, then go for it. 3-medals means you get flowergems and other rewards, and make faster progress to maps which (on rare occasions) give ampies, which further improves your entire unit, including that helper squad.

^Note you have 6 set of Squads, so IMO it's the best to put your best Knights in the first Team of Set 1 = Helper and use your other Set for fighting Raid Boss or for farming Campaign/Missions with different playstyles (example: Set 2 with 4 balanced Teams with similar Speed, Set 3 with a very fast and powerful first Team, Set 4 with a single low Level 2* Knight to poke a Seed Bearer, Set 5 with an unique Squad with a Total Power ~90.000 to poke strong Boss, etc).

I went with Cattleya because she was the only one of the 4 I didn't have lol. That makes Rainbow #17 for me (probably only 5 of them random draw, maybe 6 but I've bought gems in the past in addition to Gold deals). Haven't really looked at her because still in the process of leveling her.
