Regarding the +s, for some reason I thought there was a way to increase it for the Phantom/Soul Weapons, but I guess that's not the case by the looks of it. Oh well...

Just wanted to make sure you knew that if you fodder +s into another weapon, it'll be added to the +s of that weapon. So if you fodder a +1 R you got from gemcha into your phantom/soul/whatever weapon that is +2, your phantom/soul/whatever will become +3 afterwards. The max is +99.

As for Erebus that does sound rather good, so long as the other team members cover the essentials already. The Kamihime wiki doesn't seem to have %s on the Vigor buff unfortunately.

20% according to the JP wiki if you have her leveled.

Thanks for the detailed answer, dream!

You mean FLB?

Ye, I meant FLB, it's at MLB currently. Ok then, will FLB it.

As for UE, you can just go off-element if need be (unless you're a water main?) I fought every single UE with my light team, even when I was still running Barong as main and using SR weapons - off-element with a good grid can hit harder than an on-element grid that was hastily put together.

Just slam it with a light like with water UE then, i guess :)

I actually didn't know about that, so yeah that's what I needed. Much thanks for that, and the note on Erebus's Vigor %.

A question - is there a way to see what stats the Awakened Kamihime have (the new skill they get, namely) before actually awakening them? I don't have a lot of Draconic Eyes to go around, so I'm trying to decide which Kamihime are worth it.

Also, on a random note, Alyssa looks gorgeous in her 3rd Anniversary Gacha getup. Sometimes I wonder if she'll ever be made into a Kamihime or something... or otherwise have a bone given to her. Pun not intended.

Not that it has been updated for quite some time, so you won't find all Awakenings from there...

I think the only Awakening that you can go wrong with is Odin. Her Awakening sucks ass. The rest are more or less good.

DMM players have been saying for a long time that Fang droprate got fucked over, but when I did some runs right after anniversary, I didn't see any change. ~1 Fang per 2 runs on average, just like before anniversary.

Some time in the past week, we've had some changes to our Shop exchanges:

Fangs have changed from 2 monthly to 10 weekly.

T1 Cores -> T2 Cores have changed from 25 weekly to 30 weekly.
The material cost has gone from 150 Regalia Fragments to 40 Regalia fragments.

Both very welcome changes.

I ended up hitting a managarmr and Light Baal on a couple rerolls after. I assume that's a pretty good starting point. Any ideas on what I should be using my SR ticket for?Yes, that is extremely good. Light Baal doesn't show up in perfect Light teams, but her only problem is that she is in an element full of complete monsters. In others words, she is good, but not a god.

Sati is very good for Light if you ask me. She will allow you access to -50% Def if your Soul brings Ambush and Sniper Shot.
But early on in the game Forseti's extremely defensive skillset can also be extremely valuable, as she kinda replaces Mordred. Reminder to read through that one paragraph in The "which Soul should I use?" thread (https://harem-battle.club/kamihime-project/4735-soul-thread.html) so that you don't fall for the usual Andromeda trap.

Sati is good indeed, but in my opinion, new players should stick with Diana/Forseti instead, and then they'll pull Sati in gatcha eventuallly

>if your Soul brings Ambush and Sniper Shot

That's restricts you to use Gawain only, which is not really good imo

>Forseti replaces Mordredd

Agree with that

The real question is, is it better be defensive (Forseti) or offensive (Sati) until then. Which... is a good question and probably doesn't have a correct answer.

Give me light Baal!

Congrats though, that's actually a really good pull. Baal has many useful skills rolled into one, and will not be obsolete until you have a near-perfect roster of light SSRs.

The real question is, is it better be defensive (Forseti) or offensive (Sati) until then. Which... is a good question and probably doesn't have a correct answer.

It doesn't matter, gacha will drop you something to make you regret your choice regardless of what you choose.

On a more serious note, I used to be a Diana fan, too, but epic quests have changed the priority a little imo:

You can now get light Ama and Uzume from epic quests (and Attar as well in the near future.) Ama isn't that great, but 10% B-frame debuff is still better than nothing early on. Having a B-frame debuff means you'll probably want to grab ambush before sniper shot, and if you EX ambush, it makes Diana obsolete, and Uzume also has A-frame atk up, making Diana even less attractive.

As for Sati vs Forseti, Forseti will probably be marginally more useful early on until you unlock Mordred, but I personally like Sati more 'cos it's harder to find a replacement for her debuff (you need light Tsuku, Iris, or... Medea... Good luck grinding that one as a beginner.) Whereas, you can replicate Forseti with Mordred EX trial by jury or Joan EX BP. But as I said earlier, gacha will probably troll you either way, so don't overthink it.

Where i can find details on her awakened form (in eng)?Since I haven't had the time to update the encyclopedia in Sanahtlig's toolbox (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PhfOAQk6EyK5l33ux_C4T-cexVIQp6D-_Hbd-OO1OmQ/edit#gid=1090858479) in ages, nowhere. Once it comes out the English wiki will probably get updated, though.

If memory serves, Asherah Awakening isn't all that much to write home about. She just gains a +20 burst to all when combat starts (not sure does it work from backrow?), which is AMAZING for short fights. Otherwise... meh.
When should arrive the Miracle with 100 Eidolons? And how exactly it works?I haven't found info about it on the DMM wiki. But I think it is 1-2 months after the next Miracle Ticket (which should give us access to Limited Hime, such as Thunder Aphro). It should be just a Miracle Ticket, except that it costs 9800 Star Coins, and you get to choose between Belial, Rudra, Hraes, Kirin, Managarm and Anubis. The latter two are basically your best options, since the others have superior versions to them (although Hraes has a superb on-use, so there is that).

Of course, Nutaku original content(tm) could strike and we don't any of this shit.

Hey everyone!

Coming back from a long break and would love some tips on progression/getting caught up. Going to be a long post so thanks in advance for anyone that's reading. Rank 99 water main with 2 star rudra, 47katk on main (which I think is kinda low?).

Soul: Herc. Still about 350 HSP from Shingen.
Water Himes: Vohu, Aphrodite, Ryu-Oh, Snow Angel, Shiva. Used a mtix on Shiva so going to awaken her asap.
Eidolons: Just the best beatsticks I can find, each around 2k atk except Tiamat at 2.5k. Is my understanding that with the release of Leviathan (and hopefully getting her eventually), I should keep an eye out for water eidolons and max them out even if they don't have the highest stat?
Weapon: 3 star herc axe, FLB rahab knife maxed (2686atk, assault+++, defender+), 3 star ssr hammer from one of the events (2286atk, assault++, ascension+), and 7 raid SR's. All skill levels are completely maxed, which is why I'm feeling a bit lost with progression. Do I just need to wait for water event SSR weapons as they come?

For my secondary wind team, I have Gaia AW and Hastur. Weapon grid is also lacking with a couple UE SSR's and the rest SR's. For all other teams, I have 1-2 SSR himes, but just slapped on off-element beat sticks for weapons (like the FLB rahab knife). Is it worth getting all the raid SR's and maxing out the skill level for my other elements? Or is that not really worth my time?

My next question is with accessories. I don't have the 4th and 5th slot unlocked, so I think that's definitely something I need to work (ragnarok raids I think?). Do I want to eventually go for the Tiara set bonus? Are there any accessories worth getting the the Accessory Point shop?

Raids - The guardian raids are new for me and it seems like they have treasure drops that let us exchange them for weapons/guardian eidolon at shop. Are any of the SSR weapons or the eidolon worth it? Or in general, what should I be spending these treasures on?

[Edit] I think in general, I'm just looking for ways to progress, doesn't even have to be with my main team. I know this game is a marathon so it'd be good to know what the long-term goals are :)

Getting your Accessory slots unlocked and SSR Tiaras with decent enigmas would be the first for you, aside from just generally everything. But that is a loooooot of raids. A lot of players are suffering from burnout, since progression is such a crawl from that point on. If you're not hosting, you need 120 (!, that's 600 Seeds!) per Hime Accessory slots. And if you're not strong enough to solo Water Rag - and few people are (read: you need Dian) - then most of your hosted Water Rags will probably fail.

So uh, again... just keep playing and try to enjoy yourself. That is, after all, the end goal - having fun.

I think in general, I'm just looking for ways to progress, doesn't even have to be with my main team. I know this game is a marathon so it'd be good to know what the long-term goals are :)

Really depends on how much time you're willing to invest into the game and whether you can find active friends and union to raid with (leech from.) I personally think most new and returning players should focus on farming guardian weapons to at least get rid of all the SR weapons in their main grid first, but that may be too much grind for some already. Getting accessory slots unlocked is also important (and just as grindy.)

I am going to answer your specific questions with the assumption that you are willing to grind at least several raids a day on top of regular events:

Is my understanding that with the release of Leviathan (and hopefully getting her eventually), I should keep an eye out for water eidolons and max them out even if they don't have the highest stat?

Generally yes. For Cerberus, Leviathan, Hanuman, Nidhoggr, you get an 8% additional elemental per matching sub eido (Managarmr (fluffy) and Anubis also work similarly, but theirs is 4%-8% per matching sub eido depending on LB.) However, that does not mean you should stuff R and SR as sub eidos (I've seen this more than once) - the stats loss from using non-SSR can outweigh that 8%, since your Rudra plus a friend LB0 Leviathan and Herc axe already gets you to 230% elemental (3.3x multiplier) so the 8% only gives you an incremental 2.4% dmg. If you lose more than 2.4% in stats from swapping to R/SR, you would actually end up dealing less dmg.

Do I just need to wait for water event SSR weapons as they come?

You can try to farm guardian weapons (Ophiel for water.) Ophiel axe and lance are both very good end-game level weapons. Note however that Ophiel is one of the harder guardians and has a fairly high fail rate.

For all other teams, I have 1-2 SSR himes, but just slapped on off-element beat sticks for weapons (like the FLB rahab knife).

That's probably not a good idea. Even relative to a disaster SR, the loss in assault typically outweighs the gain in stats unless you're like completely new with no stats (that should no longer be an issue for ppl, as epic quests basically gives you a basic set of eido statsticks to start with.)

Is it worth getting all the raid SR's and maxing out the skill level for my other elements?

It's probably worth getting a basic SR grid for thunder at least, as the next tower is in roughly a month and is water, so thunder has advantage. SR thunder axe grid might actually outperform your water grid in a water raid depending on who you have as well.

My next question is with accessories. I don't have the 4th and 5th slot unlocked, so I think that's definitely something I need to work (ragnarok raids I think?). Do I want to eventually go for the Tiara set bonus?

Slashley answered this already.

Are there any accessories worth getting the the Accessory Point shop?

Not really, they're all fodder pretty much. If you're not doing AQ4+ yet though, I guess you could buy the ancient or devil rings to see if you get a nice one (more often than not, it'll be a bad one, but might still be better than the really bad ones you typically see.)

Raids - The guardian raids are new for me and it seems like they have treasure drops that let us exchange them for weapons/guardian eidolon at shop. Are any of the SSR weapons or the eidolon worth it? Or in general, what should I be spending these treasures on?

There's usually at least one really good weapon for each element that is worth farming (fire is the only exception, where they range from bad to usable, no great ones.)

The guardian eidos are also good for any element where you do not have a 100%+ eidolon, or if you want to run a high utility team (or if you're running a high vigor grid.) The way they work is that they scale up the weapon skills from your grid, so their strength is proportional to the quality of your grid - well worth using for well-built grids, but can actually be worse than an event eido when you're still running mostly SR weapons. It's a fairly long grind to get the guardian eidos MLB though, especially since you missed all the rush phases already.

So uh, again... just keep playing and try to enjoy yourself. That is, after all, the end goal - having fun.

Just remember this.

You can try to farm guardian weapons (Ophiel for water.) Ophiel axe and lance are both very good end-game level weapons. Note however that Ophiel is one of the harder guardians and has a fairly high fail rate.

That's probably not a good idea. Even relative to a disaster SR, the loss in assault typically outweighs the gain in stats unless you're like completely new with no stats (that should no longer be an issue for ppl, as epic quests basically gives you a basic set of eido statsticks to start with.)

It's probably worth getting a basic SR grid for thunder at least, as the next tower is in roughly a month and is water, so thunder has advantage. SR thunder axe grid might actually outperform your water grid in a water raid depending on who you have as well.

Slashley answered this already.

Not really, they're all fodder pretty much. If you're not doing AQ4+ yet though, I guess you could buy the ancient or devil rings to see if you get a nice one (more often than not, it'll be a bad one, but might still be better than the really bad ones you typically see.)

Just remember this.

Wow thanks so much for giving such a detailed response! Glad to be back, and I'll definitely be having fun :)

I was debating between Shiva and Cthulhu for the Mtix and eventually went with Shiva. But I actually just got Cthulhu off a random gacha ticket :) So now for water himes I have:

Vohu, Ryu-oh, Aphrodite, Snow Raphael, Shiva, Cthulhu.

When unlocking 4th/5th accessory slots, who should I prioritize? I'm not too sure which himes would end up being core members in the long-term. On a similar note, what are the best water comps to go for?

You should prioritize himes that you currently use. Of the himes you listed I would unlock Vohu, Cthulhu, and Shiva at least. Any team you make should include them and the last hime can change depending on your needs.

Ophiel axe and lance are both very good end-game level weapons.

What about bow? Aint it's good for upping burst damage? Also, small combo+

What about bow? Aint it's good for upping burst damage? Also, small combo+

Problem with the bow is the lack of assault. If you are not capping your existing exceed, assault generally gives more dmg than exceed. If you're hitting burst cap, the exceed can be worth more than assault (assuming you can still hit burst cap without that assault.) You really want both assault and exceed though, so Ophiel bow is sort of a last resort if you don't have the demon UE bow or Merc axe (even LB0 Merc is better than Ophiel bow 'cos by the time you hit burst caps, your base stats should be high enough that the 16% assault is worth more than 1.2k-ish loss in raw atk.)

As for avalanche, I guess it's better than no skill, but it hardly makes up for the lack of assault. Honestly, I would prefer defender over avalanche since Ophiel lance grid lacks defender. As an actual dmg multiplier, avalanche is far inferior to assault/vigor/exceed since it basically only boosts your natk dmg. It can be helpful for getting you ready to burst faster or more consistently, but it's unlikely to be enough to offset the loss in assault (this is unlike accessories, where the assault-DATA trade-off ratio is much more attractive.) In fact, avalanche can sometimes be worse than barrage - for GDATA builds, you want more TA not more DA as the DA will crowd out the TA from normalization.

Also, you are extremely unlikely to need more than 1 MLB Ophiel bow. Serious water mains will save eyes to buy a Merc axe. More casual or non-water mains can go Ophiel axe grid (40% exceed from phantom axe) or simply don't have the right hime buffs to consistently make use of exceed beyond the first 40%. Simply farming 5 MLB Ophiel weapons to fill a grid actually gives you a decent chance of getting multiple bows as drops, so I generally discourage ppl from buying the bow even if they'll eventually need it, just in case they get it for free.

Do the guardian raid SSR weapons drop from leeching? Or do you have to be the one to host? Same question for phantom weapons from ragnarok raids. I think my focus for now is unlocking accessory slots and farming Ophiel ssr's to get rid of my raid sr's lol.

Yes, both guard and phantom weapons can drop from leeching, you don't need to be the host either. It's a very low probability event (around low single digit % chance) but given that you'll probably do many hundreds of these raids, you have a very good chance of seeing a drop eventually. MVP-ing noticeably boosts the chances of a weapon dropping, but still rare.

This is based on a rigorous sample of one and various one-off anecdotes, but the game seems to have a very strong desire sensor - I use only the phantom lance 99% of the time, and I did not get a second phantom lance until all my other phantom weapons were MLB and have foddered many of the excess. Similarly for guardian weapons, the weapon that drops least is the one I want most -.-

Anyway, point is it's all RNG, so set your expectations low so it's easier for the game to exceed expectations

What kind of builds are those.

I don't know enough about water to know how practical these builds are there, but both Saraswati and Aphrodite have pretty strong DATA buffs iirc. For light it's pretty easy: 30% DATA from tiara set, another 30%-ish from fluffy, 20%-ish from Mike DA buff and you're at 80%-ish already. Tish TA buff is 50%, so she can easily make a two himes GDATA for 5/6T even without fluffy. Iris and Vishnu both can stack up to fairly ridiculous level of DATA for themselves. The nice thing about GDATA is that I can activate buffs in advance of a FB, so I can for example activate Hagith, then fluffy, then Kaiser without fear of a hime not generating enough BG to burst before the Hagith buff expires.

Wow, MLB fluffy with a light roster like that and still not a light main? Your other elements must be bonkers good!

Anyway, 5 Hagith staffs is actually sub-optimal from both a support and dmg perspective. If you have 3 UE Axes, you should have at least 3 UE staffs, and 3 UE plus 2 Hagith staffs gives you more dmg AND more ascension (at the cost of defender) regardless of HP level. The problem with Hagith staff is that its ascension level is not that high due to lack of FLB and its lack of assault makes its vigor much less attractive.

For non-Andro builds, 3 UE plus Yule Goat plus Herc axe for axe grid actually deals more dmg (probably use Sphinx hammers and Pheonix bows for the remaining slots for defender, you can consider using one Hagith staff as well if you are fairly confident that you can maintain high HP for bursts, but I wouldn't use more than one.) There's also going to be an axe from light Labyrinth, but it's not FLB-able and doesn't have defender, so worse than Yule Goat but a passable filler for when you're not using Herc.

If you have at least 2 Sphinx and 1 Nandi hammers, you can also wait for Nandi reprint and go hammer grid - 2 Sphinx, 2 Nandis and 1 Heryshaf from upcoming advent (that one doesn't have FLB and so it's just filler, but better than SR hammer at least.) That's actually a pretty hard hitting grid.

For non-f2p, if you have dupe Tish lances or Vishnu wheels, you should consider bricking them.

EDIT: oh and for staff grid, remember Andro's soul weapon is also a staff, you only need a 5th staff if you're not using Andro (but then why staff grid?) or you really need the ascension (if you're going pure support or AAB-ing, you may want to consider using Hagith as main to scale up both ascension and defender.)

Is double the chance better? Hell yes it is. Is double times nothing impressive? Hell no.

So Avalanche is still stronger than Barrage (during those few turns, even). And even if you go above 100%, the drop in burst generation is extremely small.

The entire "Double+ is bad" meme really, really, REALLY needs to die. Seriously. Let's end it.

While technically possible (for example, Tish can make you hit 100% combo after which Double+ is effectively Triple-), I do not see a realistic team where Double+ would actually hurt you. That would require running multiple Tish or Brahma style characters while still maintaining a functional team. While I have no idea what kind of Hime we're getting in the future, I don't see it happening.

So really, all you're doing is confusing a new person to the game with needlessly unrealistic and niche scenarios.
But yes, the Bow is awful since it doesn't have Assault.
Just happened to got Sol recently, so I'm aiming at a Light Haggith staff (3 UE Axe, 5 Haggith staff, 1 phantom staff), so does it worth to replace 5 assaults with 5 vigors? (I already have MLB Fluffy)Even at full HP, your Assault*Vigor would be 2,368 (which drops down to 1,924 at 83% HP, so basically when something glances at you). 9x FLB Assault weapons (not even Assault++, but Assault) is 2,35 modifier. You're basically asking if it's smart to replace reliable Assault with unreliable Vigor. What do you think?

Since I doubt that you have a full FLB Grid though, it is difficult to say what is the "correct" (and by that I mean realistic) Grid for you, though.

But as for Vigor, unless you're fighting content which simply CANNOT hurt you (see: previous Skill Checker-kun), Vigor is something that you only splash into your Grid, as a yet another modifier it can be hugely helpful. It is NOT something you center your Grid around. This makes Assault/Vigor weapons VERY impressive, but Vigor-only Grids really just make your Grid unreliable.

I don't really believe this. It seems to give you a second slot for a weapon drop, which you will pretty much fail all the time.

This is just from my experience, and arguably not a big enough sample and I don't keep a record of every time I MVP a raid, but I have farmed roughly 1000 dark and 1000 thunder globes at this point, I MVP Aratron about quarter of the time-ish, and MVP Phul around 10% or less and have gotten over 20+ Aratron weapon drops (I stopped counting) compared to 10-11 Phul weapon drops.

Also, I am not making any value judgment as to whether it's worth MVP-racing, since usually it's not even a choice anyway. If someone stronger than you and joined earlier than you manuals in a raid, you've basically lost MVP (or if you're on AAB, you're not racing anyway.)

and even with Awakened base 15%, you're still not at 100%, despite using a... what is Fluffy's uptime, 2/10?

You can get up to 10% TA and 15% DA from accessories on top of tiara set effects. That easily gets you to GDATA even for non-AW himes.

As for fluffy uptime, the long CD often doesn't matter in dummy and tower, which is typically when GDATA matters the most. For example, if you were were trying to use the 'meta' light build for the previous dummy, it actually is important to make sure you don't have too much DA on Arty (in fact, ideally you should have no DA on her to minimize the expected number of retries if I'm not mistaken; full disclosure, I didn't run that build myself.)

So really, all you're doing is confusing a new person to the game with needlessly unrealistic and niche scenarios.

Well, this is just a personal bias, 'cos I prefer detailed answers myself that highlights exceptions. And honestly, I'm not sure why this is unrealistic when my examples use commonly available tools... Fluffy support shouldn't be that hard to come by for light mains; tiara sets should be standard by the time you're thinking about optimizing around exceed; I listed not one but four himes that can easily get you into a GDATA situation... I concede that its application is niche.

I know we disagree on accessory priorities, but yes, some of us do in fact have 10 or so DATA effects on our accessories on multiple himes.

Why don't you run the maths and tell us exactly how much does this extra Double+ hurt that build?

Depends on number and size of avalanche weapons (or even worse, rush weapons) but here's one scenario (can't be sure DATA numbers are accurate since it's hard to test, but these are the best numbers I can find):

Tish TA 50%, fluffy DATA 15%/15%, SSR base DATA 8%/3%, accessory TA 10% (no tiara set 'cos you need earrings for that particular build to work) and you're already at GDATA - 23%/78%. Arty needs to TA not DA for that build, so she has 77.2% chance of succeeding. If you add a slotted DA accessory of 5% 'cos the other two effects are good, that drops to 73.6% (in the interest of keeping it realistic, I did not use an avalanche weapon since only Arty's gun has that, and nobody uses that gun unless they have no choice.) Yes, it's a small drop, but if you're going to ignore everything in this game that only has a few percent difference, then you would also ignore:

All accessory effects - except set effects, they're all small individually
LB-ing and lvl-ing eidolons - typically only a few hundred stats per LB, that makes 1% difference or less for most ppl
+99 weapons and eidos
FLB event weapons that are already dual skill - usually just adds a few hundred stats and 5% assault/defender which only makes a few % difference in dmg/hp unless your grid is really bad

There're probably other things I can't think of right now, but the point is, you can choose not to optimize around certain parameters if you think it's too much trouble, but if you don't optimize around ANY small things, they can add up quickly.

Well, your "highlight for an EXCEPTION" sure looks a lot like it is something that should always be considered, rather than just a footnote. Something that has no effect for 99.9999999999999999999% of the playerbase shouldn't so prominent in the post.

Please reread my post. This is what I wrote AFTER I've already talked about why it's not a good source of direct dmg:

In fact, avalanche can sometimes be worse than barrage - for GDATA builds, you want more TA not more DA as the DA will crowd out the TA from normalization.

Btw, this has wider applications than just avalanche weapons, namely how you should distribute grails/rings during UE.

Oh really. So what you're saying is that Tish-Iris-Vishnu-Michael is a viable team?

-.- I actually started writing a short paragraph summarizing how each of those himes when used individually gets you into GDATA situation that matters, but I don't think it's helpful. The key point is that you want to minimize the chance of your burst bottleneck from delaying your FB.

Even if so, Double+ will literally only hurt your team during extremely few turns, and extremely little during those turns even. Why on earth would you then claim that Avalanche can be worse than Barrage?

The point I wanted to make was that as a direct source of dmg, rush/barrage/avalanche all pales in comparison to other weapon skills. It can potentially be useful as a source of BG gain. However, rush and rush part of avalanche can hurt you when you stack on up to GDATA. You usually only bother stacking up to GDATA on the bottleneck hime, which is exactly where you need BG the most - yeah, it helps everyone else not at GDATA, but it only contributes tiny natk dmg there, but doesn't change your burst timing. Whereas delaying your FB can have big dmg implications.

The original question asked why avalanche isn't a great weapon skill, I think pointing out situations where it actually hurts instead of helps is relevant since you expect more of anything to always be helpful, even if the effect is tiny (e.g. elaborate never hurts your dmg output even though it sucks 99% of the time.)

But yes, most of those are really useless. Really, the only useful Enigma from Accessories is Def - this is because 99.1% of the game's content is just a AAB slog, where Def has by far the most impact. Sure you can make the claim that "but that 0.9% is the content that matters!!!" if you want, but really now? And yes, LBing and +99ing has a miniscule impact in your damage in endgame where stats are extremely abundant, but it sure as hell is useful for base HP.
Btw, this has wider applications than just avalanche weapons, namely how you should distribute grails/rings during UE.Yes, because everyone who intends to accomplish literally anything in UE totally doesn't just Paratrain with multiple windows, where you simply don't have the time to worry about FBing. You take your turns and if you have extra time you enable Burst in one window. Ain't nobody got time to worry about guaranteed combo builds in that.

Don't you think that a simple "Because it's not Assault" would've done the same purpose, without any trouble? You can go into details and niches if they want to know more.

After burning all my resources on Nefer banned and failed to get her, also aiming for kali glaive (didnt get her as well), i am not too sure on making dark glaive grid anymore.

Current dark eido n hime: (Anubis), Susanoo AW, Thanatos, Chernobog, Nepthys, Agilarept.

Current wind eido n hime: (Sleipnir), Seth, Hastur, Cybele U, Odin, Isis, Minerva.

I made an account not long after the game launched on nutaku a while back and picked up where I left off a few weeks ago. Things were going swimmingly until I decided to dig a little deeper into the game mechanics, and after reading some of this thread and information on the wiki it turned out that every decision I ever made on that account was terrible and I needed to just start over. I started rerolling without really setting a target, and in the meantime I looked through the discord and this forum a bit to see what was generally considered a top-tier start. There's a number of comments about 100%/140% Eidolons being a good starting point, but if there's been a recent discussion on which ones are best and what himes to try and pair them with, I've missed it somewhere. Since I still don't understand the mid-to-late game well enough to identify the "core" himes on my own, I was hoping to get some feedback on my progress and help setting a target from you experts.

So far I have one 140% roll and three 100% rolls with a element-matching hime:

Nidhoggr with no matching SSR himes.

Anubis + Amon Unleashed

Belial + Emperor of Hell Beelzebub

Kirin + Nuwa

I'm working from home for the forseeable future due to the virus outbreak, so my current plan was to keep rolling for a 140% plus a "core" hime of the matching element.

1. Of the four primary elements with 140% eidolons, are any of them substantially better or worse than the others?

2. I am currently under the impression that a Managarmr + Core SSR Light hime roll would be almost as good (but not quite) as a 140% + Core matching SSR roll, is this true?

3. I also heard that dark is (in general) the weakest element at the moment and that even with a core SSR to match, Anubis probably isn't optimal; is this also true, or should I go with my Amon[U]/Anubis roll?

4. I am struggling to determine which himes are "core" for the primary elements. I know some of the "best of the best" from reading through this thread and recent discord conversations, but beyond the obvious Michael/Cu Chulainn, how do I go about determining if a "hundo" with a matching element SSR hime is good enough to keep?

Any thoughts appreciated!

As far as i know, none of them can be considered as core. Of those, i would start with dark team.

1. Cerberus is the best probably due to her guaranteed def debuff.

2. Not sure about this tbqh. Light is popular due to number of crazy himes here, but if you didn't manage to put a full-packed team of those, pretty sure it will not be any better than other elements.

3. I think it's mostly due to a lack of heal, but they got Nefertem just recently, so it'll probably changes. Also there is Thanatos awakening soon, tho i've no idea, what her aw form will be.

4. Try looking in there for some ideas https://harem-battle.club/kamihime-project/5188-ssr-mono-teams-whats-element.html

If you get tired of the game just from rerolling, how are you going to have the interest to keep playing the marathon Kamihime game?

I'm sure there are others here that can answer this better than I can, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

1. Of the four primary elements with 140% eidolons, are any of them substantially better or worse than the others?

Well it somewhat depends on if you are planning to sink any money into this game. From an F2P standpoint, Hanuman > Leviathan >> Nidhoggr > Cereberus. If you are planning to spend a bit, then I'm not sure it matters as much. It's mostly just preference.

2. I am currently under the impression that a Managarmr + Core SSR Light hime roll would be almost as good (but not quite) as a 140% + Core matching SSR roll, is this true?

Sort of. Light is currently one of the stronger elements despite not having a 140% eidolon because of its insane kamihime synergy (Lugh - Tish - Iris - Mike). It also benefits from having no weaknesses, meaning that you can hard focus on light without any issues. However, I'm not sure if I would consider a Managarmr + core SSR reroll to be "better" because I feel that you need the kami synergy to make it on par with a 140% eido + core SSR reroll. Although I'm not a light main, so take it with a grain of salt.

3. I also heard that dark is (in general) the weakest element at the moment and that even with a core SSR to match, Anubis probably isn't optimal; is this also true, or should I go with my Amon[U]/Anubis roll?

Yeah, dark right now currently feels a bit underpowered right now (sorry Yukarichan ). However, with additions like Nefertem and Thanatos AW, dark will be getting quite a bit stronger in the future. So I guess it depends on if you are willing to wait until dark gets stronger and if you are willing to mtix those stronger kamis once they are released.

This is a quick list that I compiled of core kamis that are currently in the gacha pool...
(loosely ordered)
Fire: Fire Frey, Vahagn, Svarog, Fire Mammon, Uriel, BFM Amon
Water: Cthulhu, Vohu Manah, Shiva
Wind: Azazel, Cybele U, Cu Chulann, Gaia/Frigg
Thunder: Baal U, Dian Cecht, Raiko, Marduk
Light: Michael, Iris, Tishtrya, Lugh, Eros
Dark: Nefertem, Satan, Susanoo, Amon U

There isn't really a specific formula or method to show if a kami is strong or not. It's more of something that you can pick up on as you start to test what abilities work well and what abilities are trash. Generally speaking though, any kamihime with a 30% elemental resist debuff is generally core. Other than that though, it's difficult to say.

I've been working on my water grid and farming the guardian raids as suggested here and traded in 20 of the treasures for the axe. I'm now at 30 treasures again and wondering if it'd be better to get the second axe to 1 star it or get the lance instead. For reference, I'm still using 4 raid SR weapons in the water grid. I'm not sure what the better decision would be since each copy of a weapon I purchase keeps getting more expensive until it resets for the month.

Well it somewhat depends on if you are planning to sink any money into this game. From an F2P standpoint, Hanuman > Leviathan >> Nidhoggr > Cereberus. If you are planning to spend a bit, then I'm not sure it matters as much. It's mostly just preference.I am curious as to what you base this on. Wind, so far, has had absolutely awful F2P Grids, down there with Fire. Meanwhile, Dark has an extremely strong F2P grid, which makes Dark damn strong despite being weakest in the "omg I have every SSR Hime ever!!!" meta. Which is the meta that people keep talking about...

But, for a new player, that doesn't really count. It's not like you're going to get all those Envy Axes and Hammers, because fuck you.

Well since old UE weapons have disappeared for the remainder of this year, I have found that guardian weapons are the strongest F2P weapons that are currently accessible. If we are making a grid solely out of guardian weapons, wind has the best one with a Bethor glaive grid with 5 Bethor glaives, a phantom glaive, and 3 Bethor bows for exceed. Given, I didn't really consider the pool of event MLBs and FLBs, so that could change the order around a bit.

Mirai, just keep 5 sr glaives + phanthom, and other places fill up with guardians'. As you already got hammer, keep uypping it for now, or you can get things slowly and economically by getting lance for now, and getting other lance and hammer in next month and so on. It mostly depends on how actively you playing, actually, both lance and hammer are good weps (though in the end you'll probably prefer to run lances' grind)

Thank you very much for the input Jessa & Modsyl. I just hit Hanuman + Cybele U and I'm quite happy with that. The grind is over - now I can begin the grind. I think I will also go ahead and grab Cu Chulainn with the new player miracle ticket.

I wont be using the rerolls I listed earlier so if anyone wants one, shoot me a PM. I also got a second unpaired Nidhoggr and an Anubis + Kali before hitting my target, so those are up for grabs too. Fair warning though, I think a couple of my old saved rolls got purged so no guarantees they still work.

For anyone else who wants to try this - be warned, it takes FAR more rerolls than you might expect. It took me almost a week of multiple hours each day.

For anyone else who wants to try this - be warned, it takes FAR more rerolls than you might expect. It took me almost a week of multiple hours each day.Well, it takes 420k Jewels per ONE P2W Eidolon. And you're only looking at 4/11 chance for a 140% one. 1.1m Jewels per P2W. So that's 1/192.5 rerolls? And THEN you intend to land on one good SSR as well, for which the odds are minimal.

Honestly, you were probably lucky to get what you wanted this soon.

Also, reminder of the 30 buck mini-Miracle Ticket for new players which will net you Gaia. While Gaia is a pure defensive Hime, she does an amazing job at some content. Now, should you sink 80 bucks into a game you've only just started is up to you.

(And if you haven't bought Cu yet, Azazel Awakened is stronger than Cu Awakened. But the thing is, Azazel pre-Awakening is trash, and after Awakening boosts your team, which won't be top tier until much later anyway so... Cu isn't a BAD choice either.)

I am relatively new and have decided to start farming mats earlier, so I don't need to do it laterThe last step is trading in a:
level 125 (cap), skill level 20 T3 Soul weapon
For a:
level 1, skill level 1 FLB T4 Soul weapon.

To unlock a T4 Soul, you MUST do this ONCE. You can, however, repeat this step as many times as you want, since at least eventually you'll want the Soul weapons for all elements.

It's so quiet here. I was expecting a flurry of activity when everybody got sent home, but I guess this is a pretty quiet time in-game, awaiting the T4 souls.

How is everybody doing? What are your current in-game goals, and how are you getting on?

I'm still working on Phul, finally up to level 85 and just need one more copy to max limit break her. Unfortunately, as hosting battles gives me a 50/50 chance of completing and tend to take up to an hour, it's just not worth hosting (I've got several pics of failed battles where I've delivered over 60m damage and timed out). So that's another 160 or so leach battles to go - because I did burn one purple Eidolon limit break item on her, saving me another 200+ leach battles which would take until September at current rates.

Other than that, I'm filling in a few MLB soul weapons through Ultimate raids, clearing down the Epic quests with AAB while working, and leaching lv90 Ragnaroks because I'm a long way behind on opening up accessory slots. I've got something like four Kami so far with five accessory slots. I maybe should look into how to solo those lv90 Rags.

After last year's worst luck ever in drawing SSRs, I've picked up six fire SSRs, four water and one light, plus a bunch of Eidolons (although no new 100s yet). In 3 months that's better than twice as much as the whole of last year, so I'm not complaining.

T2 Cores: 1330 1605 1308 1038 1170 1416, needs work mostly because grinding Regalia eats these like crazy.
Fangs: 653 726 631 1132 576 759, needs work outside of Thunder, but new Shop helps.
T3 and T4 Crystals: Not an issue these days anymore, both 3k+.
SR Books: 132

Single player grind: 150 of each, should sit down and get these to 200 at least.
Advent Cores: 82
Ori: 34
Magnas: 383 284 54 93 71 56, outside of the easiest ones, these need serious work.
Treasures: -59 -211 24 2 201 105, with the exception of Hagith and Arator, I simply haven't had the time to farm these proper.

And 4736 Seeds for Och grind. Aside from me probably just not having the IRL time to grind Och, I'm all good to go, I guess.

Woah. I've got some supplies, just from playing the game since launch; other than spirit books I can get stages 1-3 covered for a couple of souls easy, but I am so far from having the regalia I need for one T4. I'm thinking of using my raid medals on pages and MLB for the Phantom weapons I'm using (In order that's lance, bow and glaive, I lack enough hammers for a grid of them for any of my teams, but that might swap in for glaive by the time I get to it).

Guesstimating medal rate:
* it looks roughly 2/4/6 for standard/expert/ultimate
* +2 to 4 for leeching Ragnaroks.

If I'm preparing for the great T4 Soul purchase, I'll be running 18 ultimate a day for ~100, then leeching another 15 or so Ragnaroks for another 50, so 4,500 a month if I'm in high-grind mode. So that's:
* one Phantom weapon (2000)
* 20 pages (20x100 = 2000)
* One draconic eye (500)

if I get any more I can spend them on pages.

Hello everyone I havent played this game for over a year so I am looking for advice. I just started again but I was never super strong although I do have decent kamihime collection

The SSRs I have are:

Fire: Uriel,Svarog,Amaterasu,Acala
Water: Asherah
Wind: Cybele Unleashed, Hastur, El
Thunder: None
Dark : Belial, Kali, Amon Unleashed
Light: Tsukuyomi, Iris, Raphael

I just rolled 12000 jewels and got Kali and Iris. I dont have any notable Eidolons but I am guessing I shouldnt reroll because I have so many Kamihime. Pretty much all of my grids are shit so I haven't committed to anything yet. I can also purchase a miracle ticket if there is anything that would improve my strength drastically. I was wondering which team I should main but really any advice is appreciated

Just noticed some thing about entering serial code, what's that?

If you're talking about the Serial Coder, found through the "Event information" page full of bar-adverts including all the Gacha and Miracle ticket stuff, that's been there forever. Back in the early days, Nutaku attended conventions and were looking to recruit more players, and you could pick up a personal code to get some cool stuff in-game. I don't really know anything about it as I'm not in the US, and these things inevitably were (I tried asking a friend to get one on my behalf, but it didn't work out.) I can't even remember what you got and I never got anything from it. My understanding was though that they were all one-use codes, there isn't a generic code that we could all use to get stuff, otherwise it'd be listed on here somewhere.

How exactly raid's request to friends/union works? Does it send request to a random number of them (friendos/union members)?

Slashley

How exactly raid's request to friends/union works? Does it send request to a random number of them (friendos/union members)? Now, we don't EXACTLY know the mechanics, but here is my best guess on how shit works:

Share to all: This sends an invite to completely random 10-50 people that the game considers "logged in." There used to be a +-30 Ranks from you, but I don't think there is any limitations anymore. And again, "all" really doesn't mean "all" - exact number is unknown, but 10-50 is my guess.
Share to friends: This sends an invite to EVERYONE in your FRIEND LIST, assuming the game considers them "logged in." Your Friends who login to the game AFTER your invite do NOT get invited.
Share to Union: This sends an invite to EVERYONE in your Union, even if they're NOT logged in. So if you quickly click through login bonuses and see a "raid request!" up, it's almost guaranteed to be from a Union member.

Now, there is one more important factor: Each person can have ~10 raids show up. Once you have those raids, NO invite - not even from your Union! - will show for you. All raid invites for you will be ignored - even from Union! - until you see ~9 raids. This is a huge problem for union invites which can only be done once per person, per raid.
There is also a very rare bug where the server doesn't realize that the raids you see are long dead. So if you suddenly find yourself with just 2 slots or something, it's because you have 8 bugged slots server side. The best solution I know for this is to just not play for several hours to make the game log you out and thus drop your raid table.

As for the "logged in" part, the game probably considers anyone online who entered the daily login bonus screen online, or has spent AP/BP in the last... 30 minutes? Details are hazy, but something like that.

As the game is centered more and more around raids, this limitation of being able to see only 10 raids has become quite the issue. I don't know if they're increasing that one at all (DMM people, help please?), but they are doing is giving raids unique IDs. And you can just copypaste that ID to say, Discord, and people can copypaste it to the client to join that raid. I don't know when that change comes for us though... but it can't be soon enough.
Now fix the fucking "server error occured" spam too you fucks.

Does that means, that if i've ~10 active raids' requests showed to me, then i will not get a request from a union's member, and even after 1+ of currently active requests finishes (or i join it and help to finish it), request from union still will not be shown to me?

As a separate matter - does there any point into clearing GO, if i've cleared all this week's missions (i missed few days on a past week)?

I've heard there are to solutions to this problem:

So basically, just hang on to them until you have 30k Medals, then check what is your best Hime weapon (or best Hime weapon of your most preferred element) and FLB it.

Hello. I'm somewhat new to the game (started six days ago according to my login gifts), so please forgive my ignorance.

A guide on Souls and MP says that I can only have 20 MP invested into a Soul. I was wondering if the 15 MP for the new/upgraded abilities on the second tab count toward that 20 MP limit? Or can I spend the 20 MP on stat upgrades, then also spend 15 MP on the extra ability?

I only started getting MP, but I don't want to end up spending more than 5 MP on stats, then end up having to remove/trash them, because I can't get that extra ability I wanted.

As for what I have, Satou... I have like five pages of Kamihime (not that much, but too much to want to type), so I'll just post my SSRs and my "main" team, and first page sorted by highest level, as I'm still working through the main storyline.

SSRs: Takeminakata, Atum, Samael (Thunder of Anxiety)

Main Team: Joan of Arc, Takeminakata, Atum, Nike, Enlil, Ramiel, Sukunahikona.

The rest of the first page sorted by Level/Use would be: Amon, Baal, Balrog, Cybel, Ereshkigal, Ops, Pale Rider, Parjanya, Phoibe, Rangda, Uzume

I'm still "free to play," but I plan on completing the "New Player Step-Up" series for the Miracle Ticket, and to show the company I support and pay for things that entertain me. I'm currently working my way through the Sparkling White Relic portion of the Main Quest, so I don't know if I'll be getting any more free/decent Kamihime that I'll use more often.

You should rather reroll your account into a 140% Eidolon first.

As for Monkey Boy, try to reroll like Slashley and Jessa reccomend. It doesn't matter for SSR kami you get since it will appear along the way.
As for now, the only thing you need to do is to looking those 140% (Levi/Cer/Nid/Han) and 100% (Mana/Anu), but their base isn't fully 140%/100% since they require same element eidolons. Former 100% (Hrae/Ru/Bel/Ki) also helps tho, but not as powerful as 140% but their base is at 100%. Hope this helps :)

(and good luck if you're also trying to unlock those T4 souls)

So I hit the current end of the Main Quest content, where you defeat Satanachia, and it says I have to wait for the game to be updated in order to continue the story. However, I got a Kamihime whose episode intro has a background that looks like it may be from the area south of the "Dark Realm." Is the Japanese or DMM version further along, or actually fully complete, with the Main Quest? And if so, how long as the English/Nutaku version been stuck at the point where it is?

This thread in particular was started over three years ago, so the game must be around that old. It concerns me that the main story content is still only up to where it currently is after the game has already been out that long.

I think maaaaaybe DMM teased a bit about more story mode coming up, but I don't think anything came out of it...? Not sure do I remember right.

Did the DMM/Japanese version of story go further than what we have, or did it stop at the same point where the English version has?

Same point. We are pretty much exactly one year behind DMM, I don't think we are missing any content (that they had one year ago).

Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this but, I need the opinion of you guys as I know most of you know a lot more about the game and kamihime than me. So I got an account, where I got five SSRs, which are Thunder Witch Michael, Eros, Neptune, Frey and lastly Isis. This account also has Two SSR Eidolons, Echidna and Fenrir.

I was gonna stick with this account but then I rerolled for an account that got a Sol, but no other SSR kamihime or eidolons with it

Question is, what's better for me to do? stick with my five SSR account, or go and invest on the account that got Sol?

And if I should stick to the five SSR account, which of the SSRs I listed are good enough for endgame?

Thank you very much!

It's enough. The Himes will come (and with a 140% Eido you can consider SRs on par with SSRs in a non-hundo grid) over time. It's almost impossible to get a hundo after account creation.

I have a question about Energy Inheritance. I've been grinding out A-Souls, and have Andromeda, Hercules, and Joan. I prefer Achilles and Vivian character sprites over Andromeda and Hercules. So with Energy Inheritance, will the Soul Weapon extra effects and abilities/skills work for Achilles and Vivian if I use Energy Inheritance to "imprint" Andromeda and Hercules abilities and stats?

Long answer: Yes. But not the other way around - you can't use Cass' skillset on Andromeda's sprite while using Andromeda's Soul weapon. The weapon skills are locked to the SKILLSET, not the sprite.

With ML diana, moros, nyarla, susanno, cern, bastet for a dark team, would I be better off getting Crest Flag or Saint Gauche for Joan?

The popular opinion is to pick the more offensive Saint Gauche. I've always played Defensive/Turtle style in games, personally (stacked my AC so high in D&D5 that Tiamat whiffed when attacking me at the end of a Rise of Tiamat campaign, much to my DM's chagrin)... so I went with the Crest Flag (Light) at first. But the Saint Gauche (Fire) feels a lot faster (but riskier) when I use my Fire team. I don't know who "Cern" is, but if she's a defensive team member that can stagger with Joan, then your thinking of the Saint Gauche being more beneficial seems correct.

.

Now I have a question... are the Accessory Quest cooldowns/refills able to be stacked or stored? I just recently started doing them (this weekend), and my first day, I had six or seven available attempts. But now it seems I only get three attempts a day. I ask, because I was wondering if it was beneficial for me to skip a day of an element I don't need/want at the moment, so I can have more attempts when the element I need/want comes up?

So I'll give you some similar advice that I gave a fellow union member. If you're playing dark, you should be using a constant damage cut team. It's easily available and could be your main playing style. I'll outline the concept below and you can tailor/modify with what you have and what you want to do.

1. Soul - Either Andro OR Joan work for a constant damage cut dark team.
Andro has a full team heal plus also has her cursed canting chains (~17% damage reduction). I like her with the Shingen spear (+30 BG after burst) but her Planet Star (elemental attack) is perfectly viable. Her other weapon isn't worth it at all. If you don't have a healer, Andro is a solid choice.
Joan has a single 1 turn every 6 turn for 40% damage cut, shortform: (1/6T, 40% DC). I also think the defender weapon (crest flag for an additional 20% damage cut) is pointless. You'll want to take the elemental weapon (saint gauche) for the additional damage. You also have access to Saint's Breath which is (after you get it working) another 60% defense (~37% damage cut).

2. Himes- You have three choices(!!) - Cernunnos (1/5T, 30% DC), Pluto (2/8T, 30% DC), and Nefertum (2/6T, 25% DC). I believe you only need 1 of these and you can go full assault Himes for the other three. All three are actually top tier Hime and can work on this team. With Cernunnos, I'd rather run Andro as Cernunnos has a stacking frame defense ability and so Joan's big EX skill can't be used. If you have Nefertum, you want to use Joan as Nefertum brings healing. Pluto brings additional damage and so is also a solid choice.

3. Kaisers. This can't be stressed enough, but you should buy the Kaisers of each element from the Eido shop and/or save the SR Dragoons of each element from Gacha rolls. You'll need potentially six team configurations for your standard raid. The idea here is to have 1 or 2 Dragoons/Kaisers for on element damage cut for when your other damage cut isn't available. Dragoons are 3/8T, 15% to 20% DC and the Kaisers are 2/8T, 30% DC. Obviously the Kaiser is superior, but the Dragoon also lasts longer and is easier to get. The Dragoon is only 20% at MLB so I'd use Eido orbs to get there. Two Dragoons get you nearly full constant 20% damage cut (i.e. for the dark team that is fighting thunder, I'd put 1 or 2 wind Kaiser/Dragoons into the sub Eid slots.) after 8 turns. This helps tremendously in your staying power.
With Cernunnos and 1 On Element zero star Kaiser you'll have 30% damage cut 9/20 or nearly 50% of the time.

Add in Cernunnos' 29% stacking defense damage cut and you're at 50% damage half the time and 70% damage the other time. Andro's base heals (in this situation) are 70% stronger than what you see on paper. This right here is the bulk of fully viable Dark Team. After this you can build your team with whatever Himes you have/need. You should be able to fight most Raid/Rag content with minimal help. (Right now I and a union mate farm TRags with our Wind teams using similar layouts and can finish the rag without additional help. Neither of us are wind mains, but the DC team works, especially when both bring Andro for group heals.)

Dejnov.

P.S. Bonus Points for Ascension in your grid. For a team like this after assault and vigor, you should only be looking for ascension. The more ascension you have the longer you can fight. It's absolutely essential to find and utilize all sources of ascension to boost Andro's (or other Himes) heals. You already have a 70% buff to her heals and so all ascension you can get is 70% better than advertised. The only problem is that there's only one great source; Nefertem's Staff (assault/ascension). If you get Nefertum, you'll get the staff and the ability to drop the on-element kaisers (if you have Anubis) and can run Shingen instead.

P.P.S. I'd obviously suggest the Guardian Guns as your end game grid (Pride/Strength) for double assault. That will be all the offense you'll need. The chalices (Dender/Resilience) are another source of ascension, but you'll end up doing much less damage than you would with the guns. Go guns!!

With ML diana, moros, nyarla, susanno, cern, bastet for a dark team, would I be better off getting Crest Flag or Saint Gauche for Joan? Pretty much always get the offensive Soul weapons. The 30% elemental is just too big to miss out on, even if the weapon skills on most of them suck. Or, just use Hercules like everyone else.

If you still need Joan+BP to clear content, then I wouldn't bother with a Soul weapon at all.
Now I have a question... are the Accessory Quest cooldowns/refills able to be stacked or stored? I just recently started doing them (this weekend), and my first day, I had six or seven available attempts. But now it seems I only get three attempts a day. I ask, because I was wondering if it was beneficial for me to skip a day of an element I don't need/want at the moment, so I can have more attempts when the element I need/want comes up?We just had a double AQ event end. The game rotates these kinds of events about every second week:

- Raids half-off (THE heavenly time to leech Rags and Guardians!)
- AQs half-off and more entries (6 or 9 a day)
- half-off story quests + increased exp from story quests (a good time for farming for T4 Souls if you're starting to near rank 100)
- Was there one more? I think there was one more. But I forget.

So, you can expect one of the other ones after a week or two.
So I'll give you some similar advice that I gave a fellow union member. If you're playing dark, you should be using a constant damage cut team. First off, turtling absolutely shouldn't be your goal. It can, at best, be consired a stepping stone until you are strong enough for "kill it before it kills you". Second, Def+ is a very worthless buff. Don't ever consider that, especially if you have access to to damage cuts of any kind. The only one which will ever amount of anything is Joan's MEX, but even that one needs like 30 turns to ramp up to decent levels. Don't. Bother.

And why even turtle with Dark, when you can reach 25k+ HP with just a F2P Grid... ... oh wait, because newer players don't have access to a full Envy Grid. THANKS A LOT DEVS.

I am personally not a big fan of Ascension. The problem is it takes away from useful stats, for minor gains in a stat that will only be used by 1-2 characters in your party. Not great. CAN it work? Yes, but chances are high that you'll rather want something else if you can make that choice.

Also not a fan of Vigor, due to just how unreliable it is. Is it an amazing stat at full HP? Yes! Is it a good stat if you have lost ANY HP? Fuck no. So it's a great stat for content that is a joke to you and certain meme content like "how high can I burst during Burst Hour?" but for anything that can hurt you... just stay away.

I know you wrote a guide on turtling. The only problem with it is that it's full of your preconceived biases and is basically wrong on a ton of shit. You don't actually get how to do turtling correctly and you don't actually understand the true value and power of turtling. Turtling is how you clear end game content on a bare-bones possibly f2p grid (you do need a DC Hime to make it work though). You have a very linear approach to thinking and you just can't see the additional secondary effects that Damage Cut gives you, which is why your guide goes against the trifecta of secondary abilities - exceed, vigor, and ascension that are needed to make a damage cut team a meta race team. I agree all weapons should have assault on them for an end game grid. I absolutely can't find any real value in limiting yourself to Defender (and/or Pride) over Vigor and Ascension. Especially defender, it's a has-been skill and you should be happy when you have it, but you shouldn't rate it higher or better than Vigor and Ascension. Also, your comments on Defense being a useless skill is just flat out wrong. It's very valuable (and even more valuable in a damage cut build) to stack some as it's an additional (usually included or free) frame of damage cut. And yes you should turtle with dark because if you're a new player you don't have access to a hammer grid at this time anymore. The best option, if you have any of those himes I mentioned earlier in the dark advice section, is to build a damage cut build and clear content so that you can become stronger.

So let's see if I can try and help you understand (yet again) why you fail to see the value in certain skills. This is mostly your mindset and not a problem with the skills.

First things first, I currently have a Wind Damage Cut team that can near solo TRag (near end game content). I am not a Wind main (thunder baka instead). With just a second union member also using a wind damage cut team, we're able to open up a TRag nearly guarantee it being cleared. We mostly pub it to all, since that just brings the clear time to less than 20 minutes. Most players can only dream of reliably clearing Trags with just one other person. Our union has members that can solo and/or AAB Aratron, Ophiel, and Phaleg due to damage cut. Also, with the addition of Vigor to the frame set, we can actually use our Damage Cut / Drop Rate teams and still race with the best out there. Vigor and Ascension are what makes a Damage Cut build competitive with an Assault/Pride/Defender meta team. You absolutely need it to be equivalent. If you do get decent amounts of Vigor (and some Ascension) you can guarantee to have the high hitpoints to consistently have Vigor applied which gives you the ability to successfully race against an Assault/Pride grid.

Let's get back to the main issue or focal point of the discussion, which is damage cut. Damage cut (and its equivalents-elemental resist and reflect) is a true multiplicative skill in the game. It can take damage to zero and also give you 100% debuff immunity. All three stack with each other and their respective frames (for damage cut it's A frame and stacking frame, and for elemental resist it's A frame and summon frame) and psuedo stack with defense also (ignore for now, we'll get back to this at a later point). That is potentially 5 different abilities that can stack with each other and that can be utilized to achieve 100% damage cut for any single round or it can be staggered to give you constant damage cut for the duration of the fight (depending on how you need to clear content). Up to here we can all agree.

What it also does is that it massively helps both vigor, ascension, and defense abilities due to its multiplicative nature. Consider a team with 30% constant damage cut versus a team with zero damage cut. The team with the 30% damage cut takes 30% less damage which is equivalent to 42% more hit points (1 / 0.7). You can think of this as a hime with 10k hitpoints before damage cut now has 14.2k equivalent hit points. Another way the damage cut helps is that all healing is 42% stronger also (due to every hitpoint being 1.42 hitpoints prior to damage cut). If you have an ability to heal 2k hitpoints on a normal team, you can consider that to be 2.84k of healing for that damage cut team. Damage cut's reciprocal multiplicatively adds to any healing you bring to the team. It also adds that same amount to ascension weapons. If you have a base ascension weapon that gives you 24% more healing. On the damage cut team you actually have 1.24X1.42 = 1.76 or 76% more healing from a single weapon in your grid. Please note: This is 3x what the ascension weapon states in its base stats. This is where you go wrong slashley!! Decent ascension grids can get to about 100% additional ascension. A meta damage cut team can get to around 50% constant damage cut (with how I mentioned earlier). This gives you 400% equivalent healing. A single 2k heal is actually 8k for the damage cut team. With just this, you can now possibly AAB clear most content (even some Guardians) solo. The only downside is that it might take you 40 plus minutes to clear the content. You have two ways to solve this issue. The first option is to pub the raid to all. (Who cares who comes in; if they do any damage, they'll help with your clear time and you were gonna auto clear it anyway.) That helps with clear time. The other option is to start adding vigor to the grid. With the damage cut team, you can potentially overheal end game content, but the perception is that you'll have sacrificed damage capability for survivability. With the inclusion of vigor, that's simply not true anymore. A good damage cut team will have vigor up for the whole fight (you might lose it on a hime or two due to a high single target hit), but the majority of the team will have that additional damage to the end of the fight. This absolutely can make you a high damage meta race team. Without ascension, your vigor is usually gone after the first couple of rounds. With ascension, it can be there for the whole fight. That's a frame you get to utilize that other traditional builds don't get. Since there are strong diminishing returns to assault/pride, it absolutely makes sense to instead build vigor/ascension into the grid. At around 150% base assault each point of vigor is 2.5X more valuable than a point of assault. An additional 50% vigor is equivalent to 250% assault. The assault/pride team will be nearly dead before they get that much more assault. The vigor team might lose this additional damage, but if you're playing your damage cut correctly and have decent ascension/healing that should never happen.

That covers the basic damage cut (vigor/ascension) team build. Let's take about defense. I agree defense is a much less valuable skill set, but, yet again, with the inclusion of damage cut into the team it gets a significant boost in ability and helps your survivability. Cernunnos gives 40% defense and Joan gives 60% defense (4% stacking frame with a needed 10 or 15 turns to build this up). This is the equivalent of ~28% (1/1.4) and ~37.5% (1/1.6) additional damage cut. It's a little worse in that it's in a different frame than damage cut, but it still helps. For that original damage cut team (30% constant), with the addition of Cernunnos' defense ability you move from 30% constant damage cut to ~50% constant damage cut (0.7 x 0.72). That takes a single heal from 42% additional healing to 200% additional healing capability. That stacking defense frame ability is absolutetly worth it.

In fact, with just Cernunnos, Andromeda (w/ planet star) and a single On Element zero limit break Kaiser (30% Damage cut for 2/8T), you're looking at 30% damage cut 9/20 turns and you have a constant defense buff of 80% for 3/6T and 40% all other turns which is equivalent to 36.75% constant damage cut. This is equivalent to only take 54.7% constant damage or basically 47% damage cut. Congrats you're heals are now twice as strong and/or you have twice as many hitpoints. You still have a full weapon grid to do whatever you want with (I suggest dark guardian guns) and you can also pick the three baddest strongest himes you can find in dark. If you find either Nefertem or Pluto, you can drop the requirement for an On Element zero limit break Kaiser (and possibly move to Shingen too). But the fact is Cernunnos, Andro, and a single Kaiser (from the Eido shop) is a fully equivalent defense and everything else can be pushed to straight offense.

After failing to pull water Pluto I got the objectively better results of Anubis and Cerberus

I was water main and was just maxing leveling the other element himes without regard to team comps

Fire SSR: Acala, Yamaraja, Mars, Uriel(A)
Dark SSR: Pluto, Kali, Hades(A)

pls advice

and for weapon skills, which is better? inferno assault or burning assault+fire defender

Well you have two choices. You can whine, bitch, moan, and complain like Slashley suggests above OR you can build a strong damage cut meta team like I suggest earlier. With Anubis, you can consider any SR equivalent to an SSR (in a 60% element eido grid), so I'd start looking for really decent SRs to complement your two SSRs (Pluto and Hades). This, with Andro will be the bulwark of your team.

If you have a decent SR that can heal, you can instead use Joan (for additional damage cut) instead.

Pluto has one of the best damage cuts (2/8T, 30%) in the game. She also has the ability to up her teams damage and also her own individual burst damage. I haven't run Hades in awhile, but she's not bad either (has some synergy with Pluto also). Between these two you should be able to hunt light very very well. Kali is meh. Pluto, Hades, and Andro will keep her alive, but she's dicey.

I'd like to know what SRs you have in Dark. I can help build a better team with that knowledge.

I'd definitely work to building either Kaisers or Dragoons for all elements (30% or 20% additional damage cut for 2T or 3T respectively) for each raid you need the additional help on.

I'd also go guardian gun grid. Your team can definitely take advantage of those pride/strength weapons. Double assault, while not as nice as ascension and/or vigor for this team, is definitely useful. You're biggest hit will be finding assault/exceed weapons. Only Berith's gun and Samael's hammer have assault/exceed. If you're going to MTix someone for dark, either Nefertem or Berith. Both are top Himes and their weapons are much needed in this grid (Berith's more than Nefertem's).

P.S. I can't really help with Fire as I don't know that well. But you have Cerebus, Uriel and Mars. That can be the start of a decent Fire team also.

I know you wrote a guide on turtling. The only problem with it is that it's full of your preconceived biases and is basically wrong on a ton of shit. You don't actually get how to do turtling correctly and you don't actually understand the true value and power of turtling.Cool. If so, why didn't you post so, you know, in the thread itself? You did post in it after all.

And then the rest of your post is basically:

1. Talking trash about turtling teams using Exceed. Oh yeah, that sounds like an amazing idea. Please elaborate on how much good Exceed does for you when you're using double DR Eidolons in the turtling thread.
2. Talking trash about your "achievements" in the game with "damage cut teams." You didn't go into ANY specifics whatsoever, but dude. I can AAB Thunder Rag (after manualing turn1 - using only Azazel's AoE reflect and Frigg's debuff prevention to stop turn1 Exhaustion fucking Azazel up). Not reliably since if it spams Exhaustion ten turns in a row, you're just done. But most of the time. And yet you and a friend of yours can "nearly guarantee it being cleared"? I'm not impressed. I can also AAB solo Aratron (not sure if my Pride Ascension Grid has enough damage output), and Ophiel (well I haven't tried, but with Andro I almost did it, with Ascle's double Dispel it should be doable), and Phaleg (unreliable solo since sometimes the fucker goes for nuke spam). And again, this is ALL AAB, so the closest thing to a "damage cut team" (which you didn't even define) is against Thunder Rag thanks to Azazel being an OP little shit. So anyway, how about you define what a "damage cut team" is and do you AAB with it.
3. Talking shit about "we can actually use our Damage Cut / Drop Rate teams and still race with the best out there." Dude. You're not using Shingen. You're NOT out-racing ANYONE, not even the best F2P manualing players and much less the biggest manualing whales of Nutaku. This is going to even more transparent once Yori comes around. Please, do explain how your Ascension/Vigor Grid with defensive Hime is going to win over Vigor/Exceed selfish teams with offensive Hime?
4. Talking about the same thing which I explained in the turtling thread. Yes, that thread goes into detail on exactly why stacking damage cuts work and what it does your healing.
5. Talking shit about how you have 100% Ascension (at least 3 weapons), 50% Vigor (at least 5 weapons of Vigor(++)!?!) and some Exceed I guess. I mean, if you're boosting your damage with this amazing Vigor, then surely you need Exceed to increase your burst cap, right? And since you said that Assault goes into every weapon... ... how exactly do you fit all of this into a Grid? I don't think that we're quite at the point in the game where anyone can be expected to have a full grid of triple-skill weapons. So yeah, why don't you explain the Grid for this "high damage meta race team" and how exactly does one go about creating said Grid?

AAB soloed Thunder Rag just now, started right when I read you bragging about it. Took 18 minutes to kill add, first Stun phase happened at ~30m, second Rage phase started with 21m left, kill happened on turn 91 with 6:08 left. Doesn't really matter, what does matter is that soloing this thing is not an achievement after nerfs. And manual duo-ing it is even less of an end-game goal. I'll say it again: turtling or "damage cut" teams are not the end-game goal. They are a temporary tool to be used when you really, REALLY want to clear some content you can't otherwise - yet.

And please, leave your detailed explanation in the turtling thread. Not some hand-waving about how amazing your team is (without mentioning any details on who) or about how amazing your Grid is (without mentioning anything about what is in there).

Pictures or it didn't happen, I guess:https://i.imgur.com/ipnQybb.png
Ascle for heals (I don't do selfish teams), Cu for damage carry, Azazel for reflect (and really what enables this whole thing), Frigg and Cybele for debuffs.

And my Grid is something awful:
https://i.imgur.com/xzgVjez.png
Three MLB Guardian Glaives, one unfinished Guardian Glaive, MLB Assault/Ascension event Glaive, MLB +99 Phantom Glaive, two FLB Garuda Hammers, FLB +99 Lust weapon for Exceed.

Wow, there's an Ascension weapon in there! I'd much rather have HP, but for now, it'll have to do to complete the shitty Glaive Grid. And no, there isn't a single Vigor weapon in there. Why? Because unlike in fantasy lala-land, in real Kamihime you use what you have. And Vigor isn't so readily available. Meanwhile, Assault/HP is. Guess what makes the most efficient Grid!

Just woke up, thank you.

for Dark SR: Beelzebub, Tsukuyomi, Balor, Eligos, Pale Rider, Pharol, Nyarlathotep, Bastet, Lu Bu(Ren), Meretseger, Hypnos, Rangda, Proserpina, Ereshkigal, Dark Diana, Volos, Manes, Paimon, Jun'iku(Keifa), Cernunnos, Andhaka, Buer, Pandia, Moros, and Idun.

You have Idun, Buer, and Cernunnos. You, my friend, are done. You have a completely working damage cut team. And plenty of options on how you want to run it.

I'd run Idun, Buer, Pluto as a base minimum. This brings heal, damage cut (2/8T 30% and 1/6T 30%), cleanse, and a potion! (It also has attack up 20% and defense down 10%.) I'd scrap the On Element Kaiser, you won't need it (but you can use it if you want to). I'd also not bring Andro (standard damage cut soul) as Buer does her just as well. For your 4th Hime, I'd consider either Lu Bu or Nyarl for defense down (15%). You could also swap Cernunnos for Idun but I wouldn't swap out Buer.
You have the option of running either Shingen or Hercules in this setup.

With Shingen you can run Encourage Inspiration and PF but you'll only have 25% defense down. With Hercules you can bring her Axe for 50% defense down and she's an individual heavy hitter. My preference is Shingen, but that's because I favor raids where I'm sure others join and usually bring some defense down ability.

You also have less need for Nefertem. Idun and Buer are not equivalent to her (as she's in one Hime slot), but they are close enough that you won't miss her terribly. If you are thinking of MTixing a Hime, I'd look to Berith. She's a solid hitter, helps tank (with fortitude) and also gives you a source of Assault/Exceed, if you need those. If you have last year's raid hammers, you might not want to do this as there are other team-wide Himes that can help a damage cut team more than she can. I'd then either pull Thanatos (with defense down and super fast) or Dark Svarog. She's an absolute beast for Dark and also has an Assault/Vigor Axe and will be available in 6 months. You could also look to Erebus with her Vigor as a powerful 4th Hime. Honestly there's a lot of choices you can use and you can pick some strong contenders to help round out the team. I'd prioritize getting 3 sources of exceed however you can, but then go for ascension and vigor to round out your damage cutting.

I'd still run the gun grid (best free grid right now), but if you get luck (or willing to spend) run Svarog's Axe and Nefertem Staff as your potential end game grid.

Cool. If so, why didn't you post so, you know, in the thread itself? You did post in it after all.

And then the rest of your post is basically:

Point's 1 through 5 of counter trash talking.

Alright I apologize, you started the trash talking here and I continued it here. But you are also right, you're not an idiot. What you say is idiotic. I believe we've had this argument for quite awhile, and you intentionally keep missing the synergy inherent in vigor and ascension that goes with a damage cut guide. This is a flaw in your perception, not in the skills. It's readily apparent in the guide you wrote, but it's your guide and I'm not going to own/embellish/correct it. That's your choice. Rather than editing your guide (to eliminate the wrong things you say) or creating another post in your guide, I'll just write my intro that I would have started out a damage cut guide with and correct some of your biases and misconceptions (from a high-level understanding). I will post it here and not in your thread, because a) that's your thread, b) you shit-talked here and not there so I choose to respond here.

Also your statements about Exceed are just plain idiotic and distracting. They have no basis in any of the damage cut material we've been talking about. Please stop being a pain in the ass by stating something I never said. You definitely want 3 sources of Exceed in a grid built for damage cut. What you don't want is defense or pride as they're not nearly as valuable as vigor and ascension. Please stop with this bullshit distraction. Always assume that I would want and build a grid with 3 sources of exceed. For elements or teams that can't get it currently... them's the break, but I'm not saying that you don't want it. If you can't get it, you need to build with what you can. Just please stop with this train of thinking. Such minor, off track, pedantic counter-arguments that you constantly state is why people hate you... but I'm going to work on making sure that I don't call you an idiot (as that's mean and incorrect) and instead state that those statements are idiotic.

A How-to Damage Cut Guide for Kamihime:

What Is It:
Damage Cut is one of the most powerful abilities in Kamihime. It works as a percentage and basically does two things: a) reduces all damage taken by the percentage amount and b) reduces by the percentage your chance of being afflicted with a resistable debuff. If you achieve 100% damage cut you a) reduce all damage to your Himes (floating damage numbers will be zero when hit) and b) resist any resistable debuff (floating indicator stating miss on an applied debuff). Damage cut as an explicit ability is fairly limited and so most players assume that it's not easy to gain high levels of damage cut. This isn't actually true in Kamihime. There are 3 basic sources for damage cut (with two of them that have two different frames) that are additive, one source that is multiplicative, and one 'hidden' source that is super multiplicative. All told there are 7 unique types of damage cut that you can stack to help get you to that zero damage taken. We'll talk about all of these sources below. Usually for a power that is as powerful as damage cut there is an explicit disadvantage with using it. For a 'defensive' ability the simple idea is that teams that stack damage cut to become super defensive give up offensive capability. This, yet again, in Kamihime is not true. There is a single skill that gives damage cut teams additional damage output over and above basic additive offensive abilities that more than makeup for any perceived loss in damage output. You can have a super tanky super strong team in Kamihime, if you build it right.

Sources of Damage Cut:
The three basic sources of damage cut are damage cut, reflection, and elemental resist. Within basic damage cut there are two frames that stack: A-frame and Stacking Frame. Within Elemental Resist there are also two frames that stack: A-frame and Summon Frame. All of these sources stack with each other additively. For example if you have an ability with 10% damage cut, another ability with 20% reflection and the third ability with elemental resist 20% you would have a total damage cut of 50%. Also note that Stacking Frame damage cut also stacks with other sources of Stacking Frame damage cut. Damage cut and Reflect are applicable to all sources of damage, while elemental resist is only applicable to a single element (i.e. fire elemental resist only affects damage from fire sources/monsters). This covers the basic additive sources. Defense is another source of damage cut, but, unlike the others listed here, is multiplicative in nature (and also affects the amount of damage cut given by its reciprocal). If you had 20% defense, you would have an additional 17% damage cut (reduce damage by 1/1.2 or 0.83 damage taken) that would multiply with your other sources of damage cuts. As an example if you had 20% defense up and 20% damage cut from other sources your final damage would be reduced by 1-(0.83 * 0.8) = 1 - 0.66 = 0.34 or 34%. The defense attribute drops off fairly dramatically (it's reciprocal stacks and then it's multiplicative), but it is a source of damage cut and, more importantly, it's applied prior to the super multiplicative damage cut source. So don't intentionally dismiss it or ignore it. Always check to see if it helps and if it's freely available. You can usually find this ability on a Hime/Soul with damage cut; it's there for a reason! It's another source of damage cut (usually constant as opposed to a set number of turns) and is mostly used to help the super multiplicative source of damage cut.
The last source of damage cut (the super multiplicative source) is just basic healing! You always want strong sources of healing with any damage cut team. Damage Cut multiplies all sources of healing making it an effective 'final' source of damage cut. Consider the following example: You have 10k hit points and are taking 4k in damage per round. If you had nothing else you'd die on turn 3 (first turn of damage your down to 6k hp, second 2k hp, and third turn dead). If you had 50% damage cut you'd be taking 2k damage per round and could survive 5 turns (8k, 6k, 4k, 2k and then zero). If you had 500 hitpoints of healing and no damage cut, you'd also only live for three rounds (6.5k, 3k, zero) and the healing makes no difference. But if you had both the 50% damage cut AND 500 hitpoints of healing, you'd live for 7 turns (8.5k, 7k, 5.5k, 4k, 2.5k, 1k, zero). In essence, your healing is multiplied by the prior damage cut. The 50% damage cut changes your 10% damage cut from healing to 20% damage cut from healing. It's like you have 70% damage cut with both abilities (50% from damage cut and 20% from healing). If you also had an additional 25% defense ability (for 20% damage cut) you would then have an overall damage cut of 1- (0.8 * 0.3) of 76% damage cut. This doesn't seem like a lot more, but as you get to higher amounts of damage cut it stops scaling linearly and starts scaling exponentially. That extra 6% in overall damage cut was basically 25% extra survivability. Stacking as many sources of damage cut and healing is how you make a truly damage resistant team. (As an aside, this is usually the reason our union recommends Andromeda as the go-to soul for a damage cut team versus Joan even though Joan sports damage cut. You really want the healing that Andro has due to its super multiplicative nature with other sources of damage cut. Joan's damage cut isn't constant enough to make it a great source of damage cut. Himes and Eidolons just do it better.)

There you go. I'd next talk about how Ascension (since it affects healing i.e. the super multiplicative damage cut) is a very very important skill to have in your grid. (In the above example with 25% defense, 50% damage cut, and a 10% healing damage cut, an additional 50% healing isn't an additional 50% healing but really an additional 125% healing or 25% healing damage cut.) Adding an additional 50% healing is just two ascension weapons. And, if you can spare it, getting 100% ascension in your grid into a team that has damage cut is a huge amount of additional damage cut. It brings about the long term survivability that basic damage cut doesn't, we'd talk about Eido sources for damage cut (best source but single element) and Himes (both SSRs and SRs). After that, we'd wrap up with now that you've built the super-resistant damage cut team, how Vigor is the damage enhancement for damage cut teams that allows you to have a higher constant damage output than base assault/pride teams and why you aren't supposed to lose vigor for most of the fight (except on single Himes that get double or triple hit). You now have a potentially meta team build that can hang and potentially clear all content. Lastly, we'd talk about ancillary abilities that are enhanced by damage cut abilities (like affliction resist- pure garden etc.) and how you want to scale that into the team.

It's readily apparent in the guide you wrote, but it's your guide and I'm not going to own/embellish/correct it.Dude. The way how progress works is conflict. You put two ideas next to each other, you compare them, you adapt, you improve.

Putting only one idea out there leads nowhere, and "not going to own/embellish/correct it" is the exact opposite of what one should be doing.

Question. Why don't you go and make a 100% damage cut team WITHOUT any elem res+ buffs (example: Joan, any two of Raiko/Pluto/Snow Raph/Gaia/Karin/Water Osiris/Cernunnos), go fight Bethor. Let me know often in those 100% damage cut turns make you immune to debuffs.

Or let me save you the bother: none of them. Since damage cuts inherently do NOT give you debuff resistance. 100% damage cut makes you take 0 damage, and taking 0 damage is enough damage to receive debuffs. One specific type of damage cuts - elemental resist - however does. Reach 100% wind resistance specifically and you're immune to Bethor's debuffs. Mix and match 50% of other types of damage cut and 50% of wind res+ and you take 0 damage with 50% less chance of taking a debuff from Bethor.

You might be mixing things up with the "immune" abilities? These make you take "miss" damage. You cannot be inflicted with debuffs when taking "miss" damage, because "miss" is clearly different from "0", thanks devs!
Within basic damage cut there are two frames that stack: A-frame and Stacking Frame.Example of latter, please? I am unaware of any "stacking" frame damage cuts, unless they're very recent into Kamihime or a thing in the future. But since A-frame already stacks, what's the difference anyway...?
(i.e. fire elemental resist only affects damage from fire sources/monsters)Monsters here is incorrect. The only thing that matters is the element of the attack itself. This is very rare in Kamihime, but for example, previous Tower had a bug where the Water element final boss would hit you with an attack that first hits you with Water and then with Fire. The Fire attack coming from a Water element mob does NOT get reduced by water res+.

And then... your post kinda pewtered off. You posted before you were finished with the post?

Well, regardless, can you answer some basic questions, please? Since without the same premise, there cannot be an argument.
1. What defines what is and what is not a "damage cut team"?
2. Do you AAB with a "damage cut team"?
3. How does one build for a "damage cut team" Grid which - I assume since your post is unfinished - strongly relies upon Vigor and Ascension, two largely unavailable weapon skills?

Good catch. That is a mistake in my outline. Only Elemental Resist reduces debuff chance and those other skills that can (plus debuff resistance skills) cause a miss can make debuffs miss.

Example of latter, please? I am unaware of any "stacking" frame damage cuts, unless they're very recent into Kamihime or a thing in the future. But since A-frame already stacks, what's the difference anyway...?

I'm just classifying them similar in nature to how the wiki does. https://kamihime-project.fandom.com/wiki/Abilities#DMG%20Cut
I make no comment on whether the wiki is wrong or right, but that it's the base point for people to get their information and I am happy to follow the structure laid down by those who have done more work/groundwork that I'm utilizing.

And then... your post kinda pewtered off. You posted before you were finished with the post?

I'm generally not interested in shitposting and dick-waving contests. Please make rationale on-point arguments and not lame-ass counterpoints that don't do anything to move the discussion forward. Also please refrain from shitting on other people's choices for elements. Dark is not a shitty element. It can do fine and has plenty of valuable tools in its skillset. While you might not like the fact that they have trouble getting exceed, that is not a reason to say they are fucked. They have a Labyrinth Hammer coming later this year and you can always MTix Berith multiple times for her and gun. People who have spent to roll an Anubis will not have issues finding an extra $100 for two Berith Guns. Especially with the fact that Berith is a top Hime for Dark. If you can agree to do that, I can agree to keep posting. Please stop badmouthing skills you don't want to like. I don't care that you don't like vigor and ascension, but I do not need you posting about how they suck and people who use it are playing the game wrong. They are not; I've seen enough builds that are top tier that use vigor and ascension well that your statements on them are wrong. You're allowed to dislike them, but you're not allowed to say that they're crap.

Yes. I'd be happy to civilly answer a couple of follow-on questions.
1) Most people define a damage cut team as a team that can reliably achieve 70-80+% damage cut constantly. I believe that the amount of assault and element attack you give up to do this makes those types of teams useless for most normal play. I don't really build teams like that as they're only truly needed in forced solo content (i.e. tower and that's it). I tend to favor strong utilization of damage cut in teams that, while they could solo content, are actually built to have fun and play in a raid. This will lead to having much lower levels of damage cut (typically 20-40% constant damage cut). Most players can do this and not sacrifice any combat ability (other than having a Hime which might not have strong offensive abilities). I am a strong proponent of Dark players to utilize damage cut builds in their teams. They are one of the few elements that have too many sources of damage cut (Nefertem, Pluto, Cernunnos) and their teams can be some of the most durable teams hands down. Having a top tier SR damage cut Hime (Cernunnos) means that every Dark team can be a damage cut team without spending large amounts of money. If you happen to get Pluto or Nefertem, then you're typically golden and your dark teams durability shoots up dramatically. With utilizing Idun (free Hime also), there is nothing stopping a Dark player from making a viable team that can clear all content (might need help, but won't be completely useless). The only other thing that you need to add is one or two On-Element Resist Eidolons (Kaiser preferred, Dragoon if nothing else) into your 5 sub slots to give an additional source of damage cut for those incredibly dangerous ODs or to give a staggering level of resistance. You might lose up to 1000 attack and like 8% element attack, but that is really very little for the added protection of getting 20% to 30% for 3 or 2 rounds to help reduce an overdrive. This is a viable source that is free for all players (Dragoons come through gacha and everyone can buy a Kaiser for 10k Eido Orbs per element that is needed) in the store. Once you're stronger you can drop this as needed from your builds if you find you don't need it. As an example: I had six thunder teams with Raiko, 1 On Element Kaiser, and Andromeda to fight each Guardian. That was enough damage cut to safely make it through most guardian raids solo or near solo. I have since dropped all of those teams except the Thunder team for Phul (which is now Raiko, Wind Kaiser, Joan with a random spear/Shingen spear, and Dian) as that one is a guardian I try and run daily (and it's usually hard to find tons of players that want to run it).

2. I do not initially AAB with a damage cut team as none of my teams are constant damage cut teams. You will have to manual a damage cut team in a raid if participation stays low. If players pop in (and some other Andros), you can usually then defer to AABing. Low level of participation forces the AABing. With Trags, I usually have to manual, but once the raid hits 10 or more players, it's safe to move to AABing and you can watch the raid proceed. The point of utilizing a damage cut team in raid content is to enable survivability until you reach critical mass for the raid. While this seems more effort, the added advantage is that your teams are usually very close to your raiding team. As an example: I don't change my grid for my racing team, I usually drop the On Element Kaiser, switch out Dian for Samael, and I switch my soul to Shingen. That's usually it.

3. I build it like everyone else, with what I've got. You need three Exceed sources, potentially up to 100% ascension and as much vigor as possible. If this is theoretical, then
a) 3 Sources of Assault/Exceed
b) 3 or 4 Sources of Assault/Vigor/Ascension (to 100% ascension)
c) 2 Sources of Assault/Vigor (M or L)
My current grid is nowhere near this though.

P.S. On second thought, I will post an appended brief of my thoughts to your guide. Thank you for offering that option. I appreciate it.

I'm just classifying them similar in nature to how the wiki does. https://kamihime-project.fandom.com/wiki/Abilities#DMG%20Cut
I make no comment on whether the wiki is wrong or right, but that it's the base point for people to get their information and I am happy to follow the structure laid down by those who have done more work/groundwork that I'm utilizing.Humm, curious. Most of "A" frame damage cuts are 100% and stuff that I believed to be "immune" buffs... I will need to test and fix quite a lot of these in the Encyclopedia. Because there is a big difference between "immune" and "100% damage cut."
-- Dark is not a shitty element. --I... don't understand one bit where this came from? If you've been holding beef with me from some past post, you probably should've brought it up back then?

Now then... "Dark is not a shitty element. It can do fine and has plenty of valuable tools in its skillset" objectively speaking... Dark is shitty. Dark really, really suffers in Hime quality overall. Most elements have some true heroes among them, such that you can just MT and you're instantly fine. For Dark... ... there... really isn't any. They have lots of strong individual Hime (with +150% Assault being a recurring theme), but all of them kind of just... do their own thing. Which is not ideal. But hey, it works. If Dark existed in a bubble, it would be perfectly fine, but when you compare Dark to other elements, you go "... well, I guess it doesn't work well enough."

As for skillset, uh, outside of the brand spanking new Nefertem, uh, not really no? I mean, she is literally Dark's only Hime that doesn't go "hey, I will do my thing and you guys can do your thing." Two others come close. Like Pluto, who is awful by today's standards and badly needs an Awakening to drop her lego cooldown from 3-per-6t to 2-per-2t. And Osiris, who speeds up your team but is rather... unimpressive otherwise. I suppose if you also start bringing up SRs the list becomes longer, but I doubt that many elements would lose in that regard either.
Except Wind, since my god Wind SRs are fucking awful.

"While you might not like the fact that they have trouble getting exceed, that is not a reason to say they are fucked" now that Demon Union Events are gone (for a long time), this is literally true for every single element, not just Dark, man. And on a side note, I'm not even a fan of Exceed. Since I only AAB, you really only need 1 Exceed weapon in your entire Grid. It is a painfully limiting factor for stuff like Skill Checker-kun events though, as running manual with Shingen you often run into the problem of "I'd do just fine if I could just squeeze one more Exceed somehow... but that is just not possible."

"-- and you can always MTix Berith multiple times for her and gun. People who have spent to roll an Anubis will not have issues finding an extra $100 for two Berith Guns." No, no, no and absolutely no. No no no no no. Don't ever even consider this. MTing Hime for a weapon is a horrible horrible idea and you should never do it. Come on man, seriously. You're always missing one true hero of some element, and getting stronger overall is a way better idea than a slight improvement in one Grid. Even more so now that you can buy Limited Hime, so you should always get something which you can NEVER get from gacha.
Gacha please give me a second Marduk Hammer so that I can brick that and won't need to save them for Dark Labyrinth Hammers.

"Especially with the fact that Berith is a top Hime for Dark. If you can agree to do that, I can agree to keep posting" if "that" refers to all of the above, then dude, I'm not in the business of bending the truth to make somebody do something. If you want to keep posting, please do. I have always believed that arguments will improve everyone involved for the better unless it is a person incapable of learning and would thus be welcome from my end at least. But if by "that" you mean Berith, yes? I mean, she is one of the +150% Assault individually strong Hime in Dark, along with Susanoo and Chernobog. I mean she is nowhere near true beasts like Thunder Aphro or Michael Awakened, but as good as it gets in Dark.

Now then, with all of Dark downplaying said, you do know that Dark is my second-strongest element, right? I may have 160% Leviathan, but it simply doesn't do everything by itself since Water F2P Grid is merely okay quality. I mean, if you look at my Tower plans, Dark is always there for off-element clears. The Hime quality might not be great, but since I don't have a Light team (again, in KH, you use what you have!) there isn't much choice. I'd like to think that the devs specifically intended to give a fantastic F2P Grid for Dark with intentionally poor Hime quality. Jesus christ, we have so fucking many Envy Axes (15% Assault, L Pride bonus from losing HP, 18% HP each) that that shit is no joke. Too bad that new players can't just run a Hercules with a Phantom Envy Axe Grid, since that shit can clear pretty much any content just by hitting AAB. So new players have missed out on this amazing free Grid, but the low Hime quality in Dark is there forever. THANKS DEVS!
You're allowed to dislike them, but you're not allowed to say that they're crap.Have I said that they're crap? I don't think that I've said that they're crap. I have said that I don't like them and I'm not a fan of them. I mean, just look at this:

The only thing I changed in those quotes is added bolds. Did I say that they're crap? No. I give my reasons as to why I don't find them the best stats ever, and if you disagree with that, you need to give your reason as to why. And on that note, there's my bigger post about weapon skills here. (https://harem-battle.club/kamihime-project/5143-kamihime-journey-2-5-a-post150052.html#post150052) Effectively, the skills that I call shit are Rush, Barrage, Stinger and especially Elaborate. For Ascension I also do say that "isn't so much of a stat that you WANT, it's more of a stat that you NEED and only for SPECIFIC content." In addition, I warn about the risks involved with Vigor.

The main point is, Assault and Defender will work always and for everything. Vigor and Ascension... do not. Is it possible to make them work? Yes. Should you recommend them to a new player? Absolutely not, let them get their basics straight first. This is further problematic since unlike Assault/Defender which are plentiful, Assault/(Vigor or Ascension) weapons are not. You didn't give me a specific answer to #3 either, just handwaved it away again. How exactly would a new player get their hands on such weapons again?
(Guardians make it possible for a few elements - specifically Thunder (Gun) and Water (Lance). Dark also has access to Ascension (Arcane), but even you said to go with the Guns, because goddamn the amount of Assault and HP on those Guns is amazing! Personally not getting them though since Envy Axes are about same grade, just far more defensive.)

And then finally to your answers...
This will lead to having much lower levels of damage cut (typically 20-40% constant damage cut).... wouldn't you call the first one a "turtle" team? Because terms are important. If we say that a "damage cut team is anything between 20%-80%+" then basically everything goes, no? So, I believe we can agree on "typically 20-40% constant damage cut" then?

Although, even that is pretty confusing to me. I mean, you keep touting Cern and Pluto. Cern has 30% per 5t (20% uptime) and Pluto has 30% per 2/8t (25% uptime). That gets you on average to 13,5% damage cut... and then when we add brand spanking new Nefertem with her 25% 2/5t (40% uptime) we reach 23,5% damage cut on average. Which I guess just barely reaches this 20% treshold. Though, when manualing, you don't exactly need to use these averages as damage cuts can be used only for OD turns. Still, that's not what "constant damage cut" means...

Another confusing part is, you claim to go to toe to toe with the strongest players with a build that has three units with zero offensive abilities. I mean, don't get me wrong, Nefertem is amazing and deserves her spot in any team that is looking to debuff and/or survive. Pluto can boost your full bursts a fair deal, but that's pretty much it. Cern... ... does absolutely nothing but reduce damage taken. That... still doesn't seem realistic in the slightest.

But, the real problem is here is that you're absolutely relying on Nefertem. This is a Hime who hasn't even been in a Miracle Ticket yet!! And you're still recommending this build to new players? How exactly are they going to go about it when they don't have the very cornerstone of such a build?!? I mean, I suppose you can kiiiinda make do without Nefertem, but then you need multiple Hime to offset that loss, and then you're damage output is even more in the pits.

"With utilizing Idun (free Hime also), there is nothing stopping a Dark player from making a viable team that can clear all content (might need help, but won't be completely useless)." I mean... you're not wrong... but... you can also make viable teams for any content without making a turtling/damage cut team? As soon as a player gets their hands on a full slvl20 SR Grid, they should be strong enough to clear almost all GOs (Jack excluded, but oh boy, a Dark turtling/damage cut team isn't going to do anything to her either). So, shouldn't these players rather go for the typical "kill it before it kills you" builds, which are significantly faster? Or do you have an example of a newer player clearing something like AQ7 especially early due to a build like this?

Thank you for answering #2. I don't fully agree with your idea on how to solo Disaster Rags/Guardians (until critical mass) since I think you can just put heals + HP buffer to begin with and AAB reliably from start to finish, but fair enough.

And I already mentioned what I thought about #3 answer...

PS. I'm not going to reply to you on guide side, mostly because that's slightly adjusted copypaste from this side. If you are going to reply though, feel free to do it on either side.

Dammit. This statement is something I still totally disagree with... Dark does not suck. You do have to play it differently though. And Dark is getting great Himes this year also... Nefertem, DTake, DSvarog... I think you're totally wrong on the ability for dark to be able to be a strong viable team.

The main point is, Assault and Defender will work always and for everything. Vigor and Ascension... do not. Is it possible to make them work? Yes. Should you recommend them to a new player? I disagree with defender being needed in a grid anymore. You're better off getting Vigor and/or Ascension (especially Ascension). Your bang for buck is just better with Ascension than Defender.

I agree that I'm not a fan of turtling (i.e. damage cut teams of 70-80%) and instead focus on just teams with overall damage cut of 20-40%.
You're not paying attention to the whole ensemble. You keep only focusing on the portions you like as opposed to the tools you can utilize. Let's just use Cernunnos, Andro on the team, and One On-Element 0LB Kaiser. Andro's Cursed Canting Chains gives 20% Defense 3/6T and Cerunnos can build to 40% Defense constant. that is 60%/40% 3/6T. This works out to damage cuts of 37.5%/28.5% constant damage cut for this team or 33% avg. damage cut. Cernunnos then gives 30% 1/5T or 6% average damage cut. An On Element Kaiser gives 20% 2/8T or 5% damage cut. Right now with all tools you have you're sporting 44% average damage cut. You now need to estimate the amount of damage cut that is coming from Andro's Heal. I like to assume 4k damage per round per Hime (fair and reasonable approximation for near endgame content) which means that you're taking 2.24k per round. Andro can heal 1.6k/5T or 320HP per round. That is base 8% damage cut or (after other sources of damage cut) equivalent to an additional 14.3% damage cut. This team currently runs 58.7% damage cut. You still have 3 Hime slots open. Now there are a ton of ifs and assumptions here. You might not like the 4k per round per hime approximation, if it's higher you do get less damage cut from Andro, but I don't think content goes much higher. If you get Nefertem, you can drop Andro and run Shingen. Joan and Andro are just there to fill slots for Himes you don't have. You could also run more Kaisers (5% avg.) and/or Dragoons (7.5% avg. MLB) as needed to up your defenses.

I mean, I suppose you can kiiiinda make do without Nefertem, but then you need multiple Hime to offset that loss, and then you're damage output is even more in the pits.

Relying on Nefertem as a core meta Hime is something ALL elements do once you're aiming for META. This is not a counterpoint against utilizing an effective damage cut team as your core build. All of the other choices required - Andro, Joan, Idun and Cernunnos are available and/or SRs. They are all available to new Dark players fairly easily. Once you have the ability to get better choices, upgrade as needed.

And your claim that damage reduction doesn't add offense is invalidated by Vigor. Teams with 50+% damage cut can keep Vigor up for a really long time (usually the full battle). That's additional assault/damage that non-damage cuts can't do. Having Cernunnos means she doesn't do as much damage as an SSR, but she does allow all other SSRs in your team to utilize Vigor for far longer than without.

I'm not a Dark player anymore. I never got Anubis (instead got Nidhoggr) and now run Thunder. In Thunder I still run a strong damage cut Hime (Raiko) and as much Vigor/Ascension as I can. I don't pay attention to defender at all. In the above example, without any defender in the grid, we've got 50+% damage cut which is equivalent to 100% defender. Why bother with defender at all at that point. I mean you'll have to have some from sub-par weapons, but I'd gladly trade that in for Vigor/Ascension and the minimum needed Exceed.

Being able to clear difficult content is an important aspect of Kamihime. Utilizing a damage cut team allows you to do that with sub-par grids and eidolons. Once you're able to clear higher content I don't think you actually have to switch the gameplay format to only assault/defense. Adding additional Ascension and Vigor helps that team clear faster. You can technically (with enough Ascension) turn the team into an AAB team. And with Vigor you can turn the team into a faster team. But I don't see any reason to trade Ascension or Vigor for Defense. That doesn't help you 'kill it before it kills you' either. The loss for a decent damage cut team you keep pointing out is at most a Hime and/or Soul choice and 1 maybe 2 Eidolons slots. The durability you gain and the ability to clear very high content at an early stage in a player's career is very valuable. The ability to grow this team past an assault/defender grid based team is also available.

There is a reason that ascension/vigor is harder to get than defender; they are better weapon grid skills. You do need to create a team to utilize it and so they take more effort and work, but there is a strong payoff from that also. The reason I think most Dark players should run a damage cut team is that it's so readily available to them. They have the easiest chance to get a damage cut team working. You can make that team with two SRs (Idun and Cernunnos) and either Andro or Joan. That is much easier than trying to get a specific SSR, but once you get them you can definitely transition to the better SSRs. Also, I don't believe they are hard/impossible to create for most elements. You do have to run Andro/Joan (and the Kaisers/Dragoons) until you get a damage cut SSR/SR, but that is not unrealistic. They are SR Himes in all elements that start the team. Cernunnos is a different beast in that her skillset is something you'd expect on an SSR.

Dejnov.

Edit: I would trade higher levels of damage cut for faster burst speed, but I would never trade Vigor/Ascension weapons for Defender weapons. As you get better Eidolons and Weapons, it is natural to see if you can move from Andro/Joan to Shingen/Yori. That team isn't an AAB team anymore, but if you needed an AAB team you wouldn't switch from Andro in the first place.

3. How does one build for a "damage cut team" Grid which - I assume since your post is unfinished - strongly relies upon Vigor and Ascension, two largely unavailable weapon skills?

I can give you my current grid for Thunder:

4 Guardian Guns (Assault/Vigor/Ascension)
1 Mammon Gun (Assualt/Vigor/Defender)
Phantom Gun
2 Marduk Hammers (Assault/Defender/Exceed)
1 Union Lance (Assault/Exceed)

I can give you the expected grid for Dark:

3 Berith Guns (Assault/Defender/Exceed) or 2 Berith Guns and Labyrinth Axe (Assault/Exceed)
2 Guardian Guns (Pride/Defender/Assault)
Phantom Gun
3 DSvarog Axes (Assault/Defender/Vigor)

But honestly, it's just the two Berith guns that would be the critical weapons for a Dark Grid for a new player. You might be able to get by without them till next year when they run the Demons again... If you get lucky with a Samael Hammer you could use that also, but I wouldn't brick it. I'd brick the Berith Gun.

But here's the other thing about the grid in a damage cut team... it's not a huge contributing factor until you hit META. At that point, you only want/need the best and you'd only be bricking/getting weapons with Vigor or Vigor/Ascension on them.

If I nave an advent's mats' leftovers, will I be able to use them when (if) the advent gets reprinted?Yes. I farmed Vritra so much that when it came out again, I bought everything from the shop and was done with everything instantly.
(Except daily Rag farm for Advent Cores.)

And obligatory reminder to leave yourself with FLB materials for any and all weapons that need it. That's easy to forget, and you'll be sorry if you ever need to FLB it later!
And Dark is getting great Himes this year also... Nefertem, DTake, DSvarog... Maybe in the future Dark's Hime quality will rise, yes. But that's in the future, and not in the now. Especially on Nutaku where Jewel Rate Up is a lie and you cannot get those new Hime until from future Miracle Tickets... yeah, that's not particularly viable. Also, other elements get the very same Hime powercreep, soooo...?
I think you're totally wrong on the ability for dark to be able to be a strong viable team.I didn't say that Dark is "unable" to be a strong viable team?
Can Dark clear all content? Yes, just look at Ebisu. This madman probably hosts and clears probably 18 Disaster Rags and 18 Guardians every single day, all with his Dark Ascle team. I don't know if he even bothers to change the lineup.
But is a Dark team - literally any Dark team! - able to race with a meta Thunder or meta Light team? No. There is no hope of that. And as such, in a game that literally ONLY rewards the person who did the most damage, that by default means that Dark sucks, no? Sucking is different from being viable.

Personally, since I don't do selfish teams the whole raid award system is very frustrating, and I can't wait until freaking purple chest update. Give me my share of the loot for healing those selfish teams, thank you very much.
I disagree with defender being needed in a grid anymore. You're better off getting Vigor and/or Ascension (especially Ascension). Your bang for buck is just better with Ascension than Defender. And I strongly disagree with your disagreeing. If you don't have the HP to survive a hit, Ascension doesn't do anything for you. If you don't have a healer, Ascension does nothing for you.

The prior can be fixed by damage cuts - this much is true. However, that requires you to manual. Which, hey, power to you if you bother to manual everything just because you literally have to. But you can also just stack the fuck up on HP, and currently no content will really threaten you with a big enough HP pool. That's something that might change with the next tier of raids (I hear something like 6 people in it max?), but for now, there's really no need to go through extra effort for the same effect.
Right now with all tools you have you're sporting 44% average damage cut.Let's see here...
Andromeda 40% 3/6t = 20% Def (nobody runs Andro without her Staff)
Cern = 40% Def (I mean let's just ignore that it takes 20 turns to get there, but fair enough)
60% Def is 37.5% less damage taken indeed.

Cern 30% per 5t = 6% damage cut
Kaiser 30% per 2/8t = 7.5% damage cut (you used SR Kaiser value with SSR Kaiser uptime)
13.5% less damage taken.

Total damage reduction (0.625*0.865) = 0.540625 = 46% less damage taken.
You reached 44% with a fair bit lower values, not exactly sure how you mathed that out. But reminder that you cannot just add up Def and damage cuts - they MUST be multiplied.
This team currently runs 58.7% damage cut.No.

Heals are not damage cut. Absolutely no. That's not how damage cut works. What you might be calculating is something like survival ability, but this is no longer a matter of "damage cut" anymore at all and this math goes straight into the trash bin.

It does explain your very bloated numbers. I will admit that Cern Def buff is much better than what I thought - as long as we ignore that you need 20 turns to get there. I'd much rather get my 40% Def from Accessories though, and not waste a slot on a SR unless I absolutely had to.
You could also run more Kaisers (5% avg.) and/or Dragoons (7.5% avg. MLB) as needed to up your defenses.I mean, you can, but I reaaaaalllly don't think you should even consider it. I know that dreamlitz went and used 4 separate SSR Kaisers. Which is like... jesus christ, I guess if you really, really, REALLY want to turtle then fine, but... for fucks sake combine those. That's a 3180/885 stat Eidolon split into multiple 1633/445 Eidolons. Which is a truly awful idea for everything except specifically turtling.

Power to him if he actually enjoys that style of play, but geez. Let's not recommend others do the same, okay.
Relying on Nefertem as a core meta Hime is something ALL elements do once you're aiming for META. This is not a counterpoint against utilizing an effective damage cut team as your core build. There is a difference, and this difference is availability.
Neferfem has been in zero (0) Miracle Tickets.
Cores for other elements have been in multiple, with the exception of Thunder Aphro who has been in one (1).

And, this is assuming that people are willing to spend 50 bucks on a Miracle Ticket, or multiple MTs even. If you don't do that, your chances of obtaining new hotness from the gacha is even worse. Speaking of which, I am extremely jealous of how you apparently just casually have easy access to literally everything, from Thunder Samael to Nefertem.
And your claim that damage reduction doesn't add offense is invalidated by Vigor. Teams with 50+% damage cut can keep Vigor up for a really long time (usually the full battle). That's additional assault/damage that non-damage cuts can't do. Having Cernunnos means she doesn't do as much damage as an SSR, but she does allow all other SSRs in your team to utilize Vigor for far longer than without.See, here is the problem with this yet again.

How?

How do they have this Vigor?

You always keep ignoring this very, very, VERY vital question. You keep touting how a Cern damage cut team is going to have such AMAAAAZING damage output BECAUSE of Vigor, but you never, ever go into HOW one gets this Vigor. I guess you did say something in the next post, but we'll get there soon enough.
The point I've been trying to get across is that this is a paradox.

You're saying that:
#1 one should utilize a damage cut team as a stop-gap until one gets stronger
#2 this team should use Ascension and Vigor to keep up with teams that are stronger
But... you keep ignoring the fact that the availability of #2 is so poor that by the time one MIGHT have this, they're already strong enough that #1 no longer holds true. Because the player has already progressed to the phase where they can just AAB everything with an easily available Assault/Defender Grid.

In fantasy lalaland where one can just snap their fingers and find themselves with a Shingen/Nefertem/Cern team and a Assault/Ascencion/Vigor Grid, yeah, it could work. But in cold, harsh reality, that's just not how it works.
But I don't see any reason to trade Ascension or Vigor for Defense. That doesn't help you 'kill it before it kills you' either.?
Yes it does? I mean, just double your HP and you "before it kills you" part is doubled. With 10k base HP, many of my teams run 20k to 25k HP. Because Assault/Defender are just that readily available, particularly for Dark (or rather, were. Sorry new players!).

Meanwhile, doubling the first part ("kill it before") with Vigor is no simple task (if even possible?). And, if you intend to AAB, suddenly you lose all of it - especially if you've dropped Defender, one AoE Overdrive and suddenly you find yourself with a huge portion of your Grid not doing anything. This can, of course, be mitigated by manualing and utilizing damage cuts and heals, but the question is... why should you bother when an easier path exists?

And that is, yet again, my huge beef with Vigor. Is it an amazing stat for some content (read: Skill Checker-kun, Tower)? Yes, yes it is. Is it something you should give two shits about in content that you need to run literally thousands of times? No.
-- Also, I don't believe they (damage cut teams) are hard/impossible to create for most elements. --I mean, they're not hard to create... ... as long as you entirely ignore the availability of the very crux of every team: the goddamn Grid.

Yet again, how is a player going to build an Assault/Ascension/Vigor Grid that the damage cut team so heavily relies upon? As you've said yourself, one needs Vigor to make up for the loss of damage output from sub-par damage output Hime. And you need Ascension or Vigor will just fail you. So yet again, how? Because it sure as hell isn't this:
3 Berith Guns (Assault/Defender/Exceed) or 2 Berith Guns and Labyrinth Axe (Assault/Exceed)
2 Guardian Guns (Pride/Defender/Assault)
Phantom Gun
3 DSvarog Axes (Assault/Defender/Vigor) YEAH, NO. ABSOLUTELY NO. YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS.

Seriously dude, come on. Relying on finding 2-3 Hime weapons of a single specific Hime? Relying to find 3 copies of a single specific Hime that isn't even out yet?!? Are you insane?!? Does the very concept of availability entirely elude you?!?!??! Jesus fucking christ, that seems to be a running theme here.

And on a side note I am very jealous of your Marduk Hammers.

What are the recommendations for building rainbows teams (for leveling/snatching)?It doesn't need to be a rainbow team. Just six Hime with all Accessory slots opened up and 5% Drop+ on each Hime. Which is a lot easier when you make a rainbow.

Then just run Solomon(/Medea) and kill everything with just your Soul.

And remember, they are working with a one-year old DMM client. Chrome has changed a lot over that time, specifically Google is trying to kill off stuff like Flash. A lot of our issues come from that, I assume.

Game was up for a some time, and, thing is, they added some stupid script which checks UA, and allows only wangblows/mac with chrome (didn't hecked out about phones, since don't use 'em). So, now we have to fake our UA at top of all other things. Surely, as you say, THANKS DEVS!

That being said, there is actually not just labyrinth, but also huge UI update, and seems like speed is better (as ppl say at least). So its more understandable why this maintenance takes so much time. But still, imo, unforgivable, wtf they've done before?! Or did they just slammed all the shit in single night?...

Also, i believe this game have nothing to do with flash, it's webgl. And yes, flash should die.

Also, using fodder that is the same type(weapons)/element(Eidolons) gave you a 50% bonus, so in those cases, it was the same amount of exp. But again, the point is, sell away! You just don't need to keep the fodder around anymore.

And note that this doesn't hold true for Accessories, sadly.

Game not working for me on iOS 13.4 - only PC and Android app. I was often using the iPad, screen big enough to see but not tied to a power lead, so allowed me to play anywhere around the house. Still, not the end of the world, and I doubt many players care. I doubt it will be fixed unfortunately, it would require dev time that they clearly just don’t have.

So I've been gone since August 2018 and started playing again in March. I do spend a bit on this game so I've had my fair share of gacha rolls. It was said that the kamihime to eidolon rate was not 50/50, but slightly in favor of kamihime? Did this change? I've had horrible luck the last three months and have been getting roughly 66% of my SSR as eidolons. In the past this wouldn't be a problem since Echidna and the likes weren't bad. Since the introduction of 140% eidolons and guardians, these are practically useless unless you can MLB them to use as stat boosts, but kaisers/beasts do a better job at that. Just wondering if it's just me or has the rate changed to closer to 50/50 now or has it even skewed to favor useless eidolons to just suck the joy out of getting a SSR? Thanks.

I'm not sure, but as far as I'm concerned, rates work only for rarities (SSR, SR, R), and since there is far more gacha's kami than eidos, chances to get kami are higher too. There can be some rate up's at work, tho.
So, "it's you"...

Maybe the info was wrong to begin with but I thought I read here the game first determines if SSR, SR, R, then does another roll to determine Kami/eidolon, then final roll is the result.

SSR slot is split into ~1.8% SSR Hime (and if you land on that, you get a random SSR Hime) and ~1.2% SSR Eidolons. Getting into Kamihime at a late stage is pretty rough. If your account doesn't have like 10 SSRs, it might be a better idea to reroll into one of the P2W Eidolons.

Is it just me, or was the "Vow of Love Overcoming Hardship" plot actually pretty good this time? Translation/typo errors ignored, it's been a while since any of the conversations I've clicked through in this game haven't felt like a complete waste of effort. Particularly the stuff in Events triggered by having several characters with shared back-plots that take 4 episodes to complete for 50 jewels total, don't unlock any abilities, and turn out to be some trite uncovering of a longstanding cooking rivalry that gets resolved through a cooking contest (this is one of the consequences for unlocking Baal Unleashed, for those who don't know)

I kinda feel my desire to spend monies and unlock all the himes might have been stronger in this game if it gave me something other than 2 vanilla sex scenes with one laughable justification scene tacked on the front. Actual characterisation and development must be the cheapest thing in the world to add compared to the time spent on art and game mechanics.

It's not great, but it's better than 95% of Nutaku's current lineup of mediocre western games with bad art. The H content is top tier even though the gameplay is lacking. Wish they'd pick up some more actually good games from DMM/Fanza, but I'm sure the ones they have are cheaper for them.

I'm impressed Nutaku may actually finish a game rather than cutting it early or letting it slowly bleed out without updates like FKG.

I don't have a ton of SSRs but I do have Sol and Cybele Unleashed who I really like so I don't see myself rerolling. Just wanted to make sure there weren't any warning signs before investing time in it.

Need some advice.

I have 3 draconic eyes right now and I'm rank 98. I'm thinking of awakening one of my dark kamihimes, but I also know that I'm getting close to being able to (start the process to) unlock the S souls.

My options for dark awakening are: Satan, Thanatos, Susanoo. I also have Pluto (my favorite character), but I'm not sure if she is getting an awakened form in the forseeable future (?).

I'm sort of leaning toward awakening Susanoo, because atm I find her to be very weak, whereas the other two are at least pretty decent while unawakened. But Thanatos and Satan's awakenings both look pretty strong. I could also just save my draconic eyes. Any suggestions?

Slashley

-- I also have Pluto (my favorite character), but I'm not sure if she is getting an awakened form in the forseeable future (?).--Nope, not happening at least for the next year.

You really want to Awaken all three of those Hime, but in what order... Satan goes from -15% Def to -25% Def (and almost nothing else), Susanoo turns into a damage dealing beast and Thanatos goes from -20% Def to -25% (plus some other minor goodies).

So I guess Susanoo > Thanatos > Satan? Those three will make a very solid core for you to play around with, with a fourth Hime being swapped around depending on content. Make sure you grab the monthly Dragon Eye from Raid Medals, by the way. And join a proper Union for Union Dragonic Eye Shard rewards.

I'm a bit confused, what is "Union Dragonic Eye Shard rewards"?Once Union event is over, you go to Events -> Ended -> Union event -> Ranking -> Ranking Rewards

... yes, it is hidden that well. You get a few days to pick up Dragonic Eye Shards, depending on how well your Union did in Ultimates. Top5 will get 15. You realistically can't get that high, but if you bother even slightly getting to top30 Unions is NOT hard (they get 10). Mind you, this game has ~1000 active players and 30 Unions have 900 people in them. You can very easily be in this top 90%, BUT YOU NEED TO BE SOCIALLY ACTIVE. And just sticking to some random Union that you started in or inherited will NOT cut it.

Well, the usefulness of this has scaled down a lot. Back when the game was more active, Union events were a monthly thing. So double the rewards. Now it is like every second month or so, so eh. But's still a free Dragon Eye every two months assuming you're in ANY kind of real Union.

To be honest, I am personally somewhat of a casual player myself. I vacillate between playing the game regularly and basically logging on once per day, doing the missions and that's about it. I also have gone completely inactive for months at a time in the past. So I'm fine with not being in the upper tier or whatever. Right now my union is set to get ~3-4 dragon shards from this event, which is fine by me. We got somewhat close to getting to the top 100 actually. I think with time we will get better. I like having control now that I actually have it, as it's nice to be able to set things like burst times or have more sway over buffs during these sorts of events.

I went ahead and awakened Susanoo. And I have been getting the monthly eyes and some of the shards from raid medals, but I'll probably redouble the effort with that.

Alright, I started playing this back in the day, but picked it up like last month.

My current teams are as follows:

Fire:
SSR Beelzebub (fire)
SSR Mars
SSR Uriel
SSR Amaterasu

Eidolons for fire kinda shitty, Fafnir/Crom Cruach being only two of note really

Water
SSR Ryu-Oh
SR Oceanus
SSR Raphael
SSR Nike

Eidolons: again kinda shitty, just the basic epic quest ones

Thunder:
SR Tezcatlipoca
SSR Jupiter
SR Astraea
SR Baal

Eidolons: Kirin/Girimhelka (i pulled Kirin yesterday) This is one of my weaker parties, haven't put anything into it

Dark:
SSR Nefertem
SR Meretseger
SSR Kali
SSR Osirus

Eidolons: Anubis

Wind:
SSR Azazel
SSR Hastur
SSR Gaia
SSR Cybele

Eidolons: Behemoth and then epic quest eidolons

Light:
SR Anteros
SR Hermes (light)
SR Mithra
SR Artemis

Eidolons: epic quest ones

Which party should I focus on? I also have SSR Diabolos if that makes a difference.

Soul wise I have been using either Mordred, Arthur, Solomon and am in the process of leveling D'Artagnan, and as soon as I hit 200 SSP I am going to pick up Yukimura.

In terms of gameplay wise what should I be focusing on? Each element party is at 30k+, what am I missing to go take it to the next level?

If there's any more information needed, please don't hesitate to ask.

One more question, rare weapon farming, besides gem gacha, are there any quests that reward rare weapons that's worth farming?

If SSRs are not available from Epic quests and what you've farmed before, you should get SRs from Standard/Expert Disaster raids.

Find yourself a Union that can carry you Ults so that you can get an offensive Soul weapon, which should probably be Hercules' Axe.

Beginner support gives you no AP costs for main and raid quests until you reach rank 50. Is that worth holding onto instead of the current guild order missions?

Is that worth holding onto instead of the current guild order missions?Well, GO will flood you with lots of consumables... but I dunno. You make the call. And remember that you'll need to be there at Thu or you'll be down to 8 points (assuming that you can clear wave 3, which I'm not sure you can, but I'd think it's possible thanks to Epic quests).

Thank you for all the help. Do you also have any advice on what to farm to get stronger? I am running mostly epic quest SRR eidolons for stats, and have 30-33k atk on each hime (my weapon grid is mostly 3* SR, and only 2-3 SSR). I was thinking of getting one of Andromeda's weapons (idk which one is better, but I suspect the staff is); however, I read your soul guide and it seems she isn't a very good soul past early game -- is she still good in lightning teams?

Also, do you know anything about farming the new labyrinth event? Is it better to just continue at your highest lap and keep dying for drops? Or just start at weaker laps to build a lap bonus? Is it worth farming for players who don't use water as their main element?

I really appreciate the advice.

I'm sure Slashley has a ton of things to say, but I'll make a few suggestions while he's busy writing event notes. Andromeda isn't a bad soul, she has her uses as either a turtle team or a raid support team lead. Her main problem is she's not going to help as much with solo content, because the quantity of healing you get is never going to match the rate of damage coming in, unless you've gone for a turtle build, and turtling makes the grind even longer. It's worth mentioning that the most important thing to work on in this game is to maximise your rate of improvement for time you put in; anybody could grind everything for 18 hours a day and get good. The trick is to get to the highest reward content with the fewest hours spent grinding.

So, on souls - you do want to unlock most of them if not all, ultimately. And you'll get a steady stream of soul points for that. Key are Shingen, because even when you're not using her, you want Provisional Forest available, and I'd say D'Artagnan, for Sniper Shot. It's worth going for Solomon to get through some content like the current labyrinth quickly, and to get Medea who does the same thing only better, and Hercules is great as an A tier, but her S-tier evolution isn't great until we get a rebalance patch in 8 months time.

So, back to the benefit-per-hour stuff. I'd say your objective is to get:
* 4 SSR Kamihime in your chosen element, each with 5 unlocked accessory slots, each with 3 maxed out demon tier tiara accessories
* One S-tier soul unocked with a MLB weapon
* 9 SSR FLB weapons, ideally each with Assault, in your chosen element (or 8 and one phantom-weapon matching type with at least 5 others), ideally with several kamihime weapons among them (Guardian weapons are a possible stop-gap here)
* A pay-to-win eidolon in your chosen element. Or, if you're an idiot like me who didn't reroll into one, a MLB Guardian eidolon in your chosen element
* Relevant SSR Dragoon eidolon for your element, plus 2 SR Dragoons MLB in that same element, plus at least 4 MLB eidolons in the same element including the Guardian eidolon if possible

Most people won't get that far, but it's a good baseline to aim for. How to get there? Try to build

So, I'd list tasks as follows:
1. Events that give Magic Jewels. P2W Eidolons are the hardest thing to get in quantity. followed by SSR Kamihime. So do these first. Usually they give out other things you need, like accessories, SR fodder, usable SSR Eidolons, soul points and the like. If you don't want to spend the time to complete everything, pick the cut-off point as most of the events have a sloping curve for effort-reward towards the end. For example, there's no point farming for 4 copies of an SSR eidolon; if you don't MLB it with 5, then you won't use it long-term. So if you can't be bothered to pick up all the stretch goals of draconic eyes and jewels, at least pick up all the SSR weapons and eidolons.
2. Guild Orders. You need Ori to FLB weapons. It's 5 fights per week, two of which you quit out before even starting so under 1min. It gives Jewels as well, and those yellow books you need to limit break your kamihime, it's the most efficient farming in the game.
3. Gemcha. Draw all 10.
4. Raids. Support others, start your own. Aim to get at least enough grails/SR fodder to burn through your gemcha R weapons. This has synergy because it gets you globes, magnas or regalia you need for other things on the list.

Beyond that? I'd recommend getting the best accessories you currently can, and filling the 3 open slots on your hime with the best you have and levelling them to about level 20 because that's a big improvement for a small investment. After that, ignore accessories until you can both farm accessory quests for demon-level accessories, and host-farm Magnas through ragnarok raids, either solo or with a union who reliably back you up. The rate of getting Magnas from leeching is so pathetically low, it's not worth considering accessory unlocks with them. When you can reliably host and win a guardian raid, then you want to do at least one daily, and then host a Och raid for the pages.

My recommendation is to avoid as much wasted effort as possible. So for example, levelling up the skill level of SR weapons you are using will help you in the short term, but you're not going to be using any of those weapons in 3-6 months time. Levelling up a nice SSR accessory to 50 is fine, but if it isn't a demon accessory, you'll ultimately replace it in the future for something better.

So, over to Slashley for corrections :-)

Thank you for all the help. Do you also have any advice on what to farm to get stronger?By far the most important thing is doing Gem Gacha every day and getting one element full on slvl20 SR Assault weapons (or better). That is the STARTING point of Kamihime.

Andromeda is a newbie trap. She seems great, but sadly, she is not particularly useful. As soon as you reach the above mentioned starting point, you'll do enough damage that heals will be far, far less useful for you. I highly recommend you stick to my guide, which is Gawain -> Cass -> MORDRED, followed by Dartagnan/Herc/Joan in whatever order you feel like.

However. Since you're below rank 50... ... it would also be extremely good to reroll into a 100% or better Eidolon. Aim for Cerberus/Leviathan/Hanuman/Nidhoggr, maybe Managarm/Anubis. Yes, that means throwing all of your progress so far into the trash bin. But trust me, it is VERY worth it. Trust me, trust me, TRUST ME. Seriously. It makes a HUGE difference, both right now and far, far, far into the future.
Also, do you know anything about farming the new labyrinth event? Is it better to just continue at your highest lap and keep dying for drops? Or just start at weaker laps to build a lap bonus?Sadly, I do not know. When Labyrinth event came out, it was such a breeze for me that all mobs just fell over. As such, it is difficult for me to understand your pains...

Anyway, higher levels have bigger chest bonus, which means less AP spent to get treasures. But if you're struggling, it might be better to farm lower levels and just keep moving up until you hit a wall.

All events are always worth farming. Remember, everything you do will make you stronger. The main weapon this time around will be really great for Medea builds come April 2021. Even if that wouldn't apply to you, there are lots of other neat stuff available from the event such as Jewels.
I'm sure Slashey has a ton of things to say, but I'll make a few suggestions while he's busy writing event notes.I was at work!

I don't really have much to correct. Except you spelled my name incorrectly (twice) and I think you're jumping ahead quite a bit. I doubt he needs that much of a list of things to do just yet~

Hello first time posting, been playing for 3 weeks, If I am to Mtix the Hundo Eidolon, can I ask a suggestion on which element does better beetween Wind and Dark?

Wind: Gaia, Chulain, Isis
Dark: Susanoo, Thanatos, Satan, Berith, Pluto, Chernoborg.

Have more Dark core than wind but that Azzazel AW is just one of the strongest, Anubis is Best Eidolon for dark, while Hraevs is still bellow hanuman.
Grids are 0LB guardian weapon.

By experience, the Highest 10 or 20 level that you can do,If I am not wrong Bonus lap is based on how high the Floor you are on, eg: Ultimate Floor 41-61 is always Lap Bonus 2
while bellow it is Lap bonus 1, so it will net you more chest every run. But if you want it easy just do the lower floor and its fine as well.
15 Grimoires is crucial for starter, and everything else is nice too, definitely clear everything.

I think the most important thing to do as a new player (besides re-rolling into a 100% hundo) is to build a multi-color DR (drop rate) snatch team. When the raid is already won, you can drop in with a team that maximizes your drop rate of the super rare stuff. You have to hit only once to guarantee getting drops from that Raid. Each accessory that has drop rate is fixed at 1% (no matter the level) and you can immediately put together a team of six hime with 3% DR each for a total of 18% DR. You can max out at 30% DR which gives you pretty high chance of getting the valuable magna or labros drops from high level Raids. You can even have the team be a rainbow team (all colors to maximize your DR accessories) initially just to leech rewards. It's a bit scuzzy, but it is a valid tactic.

Certainly it would have to wait until the next Mtix if wind is choosen.

Not really, tbh. Dark still looks more appealing to me there, for wind, aside of Azzy, you still want Aether/WiAtum/Frigg, not to mention that all elements 100% eidolons are kinda obsolete except for light and dark.

True, Mtix for 2nd best Eidolon that overshadowed by 140% is not the best decision. I have light and fire Eidos, maybe should just get Dark to compliment light. and just farm for MLB Bethor as a holder.

I appreciate the suggestion.

I forget where the source comes from, but someone did a large sample drop test (high hundreds) for no DR and 30% DR. It showed that getting magna/labros without DR is around 20-25% and with the DR is around 60-70%. It seems to be every point of DR gives you a chance for moving the rare loot by that amount. I believe in that test they also showed that Mammon's and D'Art's Snatch abilities didn't have an appreciable effect on the magna/labros drop rate. It did seem to push bronze chests to silver chests (but no internal chest scaling was seen).

I'll look for the reference but it's a DMM player that did the testing.

This will be such a huge game-changer if it is true, Labros for me were like 1 out of 3 not counting purple chest, being able to double it will be very neat.

Thank you everyone for all the previous response to my questions. I have definitely been collecting a lot of materials from raids/quests, but just don't know the best uses for each currency. What are the best ways to spend:

Draconic Eyes
Idea Regalias
Magna Cravis
Relic Fragments
Orichalcons
Raid Medals
Holy Treasures?

Also, is it best to just mass sell normal and R accessories to get enough points to buy a devil SSR one from the shop?

Lastly, I wanted to ask about f2p gacha tickets, such as the premium,10-chain premium gacha or the "SR or higher" tickets. For all of the tickets, I don't see a "gacha details" page where they show drop rates/increased drop rates (unlike the magic jewel gachas). Do these tickets still have an increased drop rate for the himes/eidolons listed in the pictures? If so, how often do they rotate?

Any help/response would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, the encyclopedia in Sanahtlig's toolbox (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PhfOAQk6EyK5l33ux_C4T-cexVIQp6D-_Hbd-OO1OmQ/edit#gid=1090858479) gives you a quick peek on all the upcoming events. I haven't been updating it properly for a year, but you'll still get a good idea of what is coming.
What are the best ways to spend:Draconic Eyes are mainly for Awakening Himes. They are also needed in small quantities for T4 Souls, but Pages are the bigger bottleneck there. If you ever pile up these - and you probably won't - the other things you need them for are bricks (20 each) and Dragon Eye weapons (15 each, you need 60 to MLB). However, Dragon Eye weapons are a bit outdated in this age of triple skills, so really the only one worth it right now is Merc Axe for Water.

Idea Regalias are for T3 Soul weapons, also needed to host Ragnarok Disasters and Guardians. Plus required in MASSIVE quantities for T4 Souls, you cannot have enough of these ever.

Magna Cravis are for unlocking Hime Accessory slots (60 per SSR). This is very important to get your hands on the Tiara set bonus for ALL of your Hime, as it is a HUUUUUGE boost in power. You also need 100 of these to MLB a Guardian and used in small quantities to unlock T4 Souls.

Relic Fragments are just there for you to get a few Magnas every month. Also, if you play a lot, you can exchange the excess for Ori. No other use whatsoever.

Orichalcons are used for ALL FLBs, and also in small quantities to unlock T4 Souls.

Raid Medals are all monthly, mainly for Pages. 100 Pages exchanges for one "Soul's Secret Book of Heresy" under Material Exchange -> Raid Quest, limited to 5 a month. This is THE bottleneck for T4 Souls. However, newer players should also consider cheap Premium Tickets, the one single Dragon Eye, maybe the 5 Dragon Eye Shards, and the Special Soul P for early Shingen unlock.

Holy Treasures are used for Guardian stuff. You need 200 to MLB a Guardian Eidolon (BY FAR the best Eidolon you can get through grinding), and also for making a Guardian Grid. Some Guardian weapons are extremely strong for weapons that you can grind, spending 20+30 monthly on these is not a bad idea. Spending the remaining 50+75 is not recommendable unless you can solo these Guardians. Oh, and also used in small quantities for T4 Souls.

You also didn't say anything about the final one:
T2 Cores (Prison of [element], Idea Core), these are used mainly for Limit Breaking Hime. However, you also need them to spawn Ults, which you need to farm to get Regalia, which you need to get Magnas and Treasures. Also, used in M A S S I V E quantities for T4 Souls. In other words, these are a HUUUUGE bottleneck and you should really appreciate them as much as you possibly can. Please farm as many Disaster Experts for as many as you can be bothered, and consider Standards too. Also, exchange for these in Material Exchange -> Raid Quest using T1 Cores and Regalia Gems.
Also, is it best to just mass sell normal and R accessories to get enough points to buy a devil SSR one from the shop?Rings suck, even if they're Ancient. So no. Now that Gems costs are gone, you might as well spend those to level up decent Accessories, such as SR Tiaras with two decent enigmas on them. You cannot ever have enough of Tiaras, after all.
Lastly, I wanted to ask about f2p gacha tickets, such as the premium,10-chain premium gacha or the "SR or higher" tickets. Do these tickets still have an increased drop rate for the himes/eidolons listed in the pictures? If so, how often do they rotate?Tickets don't have Rate Ups. On Nutaku, neither does Jewels, but eh.

Kali will probably die fast and get replaced by Agaliarept. Or you can keep Kali as a sub for a quick burst of damage once things go south. So suit yourself, really.
