Reading it is a whole different story, however. There is what? 50 000? 85 000 kanji characters? Although you only need a fraction of that in order to read something as simple as a porn game, we're still talking about memorizing thousands of characters before you can somewhat read it.

Though i think as you added story scenes you have you own or fine with old version, but will be usable if anyone want to try it too.

Yes i have been noticing they were smaller than the ones posted here from the nutaku page, but im doing the same steps as you mentioned before, i just start the scene and click on the last line that appears in the network tab in developers console and i open it on a new page and i save it.
im not a pro on those things but i think i have been following the steps, maybe its different in the DMM version or something.

It is indeed somewhat different, to proceed to the actual scenario script, you'll need to access the 'scenario.json' from the resource_directory value

e.g.

dc/46/7b40b24d2302fe133bd09c9975cb7a44f35e8ff45bc2dc46/ is what you can find in the tiny json file shown in the developer tool, and use it like what i provided above.

Did some investigation - yes, they changes it.
For non-hentai scene (and intro part for h) you need to get first.ks file from console.
For hentai scene you need to get scenario.json file from console.

They both plain text files.

So there are should be 3 "first.ks" and 2 "scenario.json" for chars wirh 2 scenes and 2 "first.ks" / 1 "scenario.json" for chars with 1 scene. So better to rename it to for example, 1.ks,2.ks,3.ks and 2.json, 3.json.

Also updated my version:
Added characters submitted from last release.
Fixed missing character arts on scene selection screen (but dont have Yamaraja sprite).
Fixed broken graphic on Tsukiomi scene.
Now button show character type: (K)amihime, (E)idolon, (S)oul.
Now button show how many scenes this character has (usually 5 sr+ hime, 3 other including aw hime).

I recommend Translation Aggregator (google it) for anyone wanting more accurate translations, jparser shows multiple possible translations instead of just guessing like google.translate does.

It takes more time since you gotta edit the files by hand but even with minimal knowledge of Japanese you can translate 60% of the text, and the remaining text should be easy to work out from context.

In a gacha game, a scene collection benefits everyone. It is not exactly fair to assume that everyone will be able to access even half the scenes.

Also, if somebody in China or Philippines wants to make a profit out of the assets, they wouldn't use Nutaku's. They'd use DMM version, since that has vastly, vastly more stuff than what we do.

Okay, I deleted the original scenario folder and added the new one into the game folder. After I did that, I launched the Kamihime Player and the new characters you added weren't added. It's still the same ol' launcher from before. What am I missing?

So, I restored the original scenario file, I entered the updated scenario file and selected all, and extracted it into the original scenario file so I can replace it. Got it. Alright, what's next?

I only overwrote with what's in the 29/12 update
sounds like you deleted something you shouldnt have
try redowloading the whole launcher again (unless you still have the archive on your HDD) + apply update on it

and please stop spamming

and when you're editing a post, there's a "delete" button

Alright, I extracted the entire Kamihime Player 1.0 and made it it's own file. I opened up the update with Winrar and used all the files and such with the new update to replace the original files. After I did that, what do I do next?
Edit - Well when I launched the launcher, nothing changed, besides reverting the launcher to a previous state when it listed the names of the characters by each letter. Including two new ones I never seen before: "(" and "U1"
This is all maddening. Forgive me.

You should again specify that those are the DMM version. And considering the file size, I have a feeling you weren't very successful in your ripping.

Those are files for Eunicorn, he only needs the _harem- files, they are really small, around 270 bytes, Elliont uses the first.ks files and scenario.json files, those are bigger, and i added them before, in the next wave of kamis i will upload everything in one zip, so both can access them, the problem is because DMM files are different from the Nutaku ones, thats why is a mess, but im trying to help both projects.

And yes, i dont play in nutaku anymore, my files will always be from dmm

Thank you. Also found the DS one, but still othing for SenPro. I downloaded everything in its file and sall that there were 2 .json scripts and it says recource dump in the link you provided. Not all that teachsavy so I don't what a resource dump is or what a .json file is a side from it being a type of skript, so no idea how to use it. Hate being a bother but can someone please tell answer this last question of mine for SenPro? How to see the harem scenes like in the game and not just the animations? Again sorry for being a bother and thank you in advance.

I was able to get the dialogue and character name added to the Player finally. The only problem? I can see the dialogue but get that exceptional error thingy because I don't see the animation being played out, nor voices being heard. But I can read the dialogue in the error. Is this supposed to happen? Just asking.

EDIT: I downloaded the Dark Amaterasu file someone posted here earlier and downloaded it into the player, but I see nothing of pics or an animation. This normal?

I used the same files and everything worked fine for me.

Did you run the 3 scripts? If not you have to create a folder in game/nutaku with the name of the Soul/Kami/Eidolon you want to add and copy the 5 harem-character files there and run the 2_download_assets.cmd, 3_build_rpy.cmd and 4_write_config.cmd in this order so the animations and other assets are added to the player.

Always wait until a script has finished before starting the next one. Script 3 and 4 are completed rather quick, only 2 might take a bit depending on the amount of new files you have added

the player itself works even without any python installation on your PC as it is created using the RenPy engine. The only thing that needs python are the update scripts for downloading assets and creating the RenPy files the player loads.

As for if 2.6 works aswell, i can only make a guess based on the code that it should work as i havent seen functions added in 2.7.
However setting up 2.6 correctly with the needed modules is most likely more work than re-installing 2.7 (try using the newest 2.7.14 version)

Sorry, forgot to mention that it's prohibited bc square brackets is Ren'Py format enclosers.

Rename folder, for example [Mid Summer Sun] Sol => Sol (Mid Summer Sun) and relaunch 3 and 4 cmd file.

took a while until i could test it as i had been at work.
After deleteing my dll i had already so the scripts wouldnt run anymore, i copied it into the python folder and the scripts worked again. So this does work to get the scripts running for people that didnt have python installed beforehand

3. After extracting it, you should have a folder called Kamihime_Player

it fixes trouble bc installation of python also install python27.dll to system folder.

It happened because you deleted python folder with requests module installed.
You need to recover old folder or install this and other needed modules by youself.

No it is not. Though you can parse and machine translate them using parts of toolset for KH and DP (both exists in MEGA folder).
But there are no ready solution, you need to code it youself.

I'm pretty sure a frame of the animation was blank in the previous version, which was fixed with the lastest maint, so it would be odd if they were completely matching. :think:

Is there a translator I can use if I decide to download DMM Versions of the characters? And if there is, is there a way for me to copy the Japanese dialogue during the scenes into the translator?
EDIT: Reason why I ask is because I want to get the Kamihime, Thanatos, Eros, and Marduk already.

The .rpy files in game/scenario/ have all the text. Open them in notepad and they can be edited.

If you upload them here I'll try to translate them. I'm not good at translating hentai though so don't expect too much

I always saw lines and such that don't mean what the character is saying, but I always thought that was because Nutaku isn't good at translating. Why would Nutaku censor an 18+ game, and for what purpose?

EDIT: By the way, do you have Eros, Marduk, or Thanatos in the DMM Version? If so, can you post them in here? If ya don't know who they are, must I provide pictures?

That doesn't explain how I can install scenes from the DMM version that aren't currently in the Nutkau version and be able to watch the scenes in English rather then in Japanese.

I tried installing characters from the DMM version, so I did like you would do for any character from Nutaku. The second it read the DMM's file, it immediately ends the operation. Is there a special way to install DMM characters?

Anybody know what the next event will be? I hope it's not another god damn Union event because I hate those with a passion.
EDIT: And it's another god damn Union event with a character named Lilim Avaritia, then to what I'll assume is a raid event with a character named Amphisbeana (She has hearts and stuff all over her, so Valentine's Raid... I guess). After that is another union event is with a character named Lilim Acedia, and then to I think either a Raid or Advent named Icarus (Most likely Advent, because her character design is so bland to be called a raid boss), then to a raid with a Loli riding a New Year's Chinese Dragon who's name is Barong. And after that is what I know is a raid event, (Probably comes out either in March or April), who's name is Tiamat. After that, I don't know.
P.S. How come the Dark World for the quest line hasn't given us an H Scene yet? You would always get one on Mission 2 and 4, and this is the first time they never gave one out. Any reasons?

Download Python 2.7 something, download whatever file is not in the player, use Winrar to extract the files from the thing ya downloaded, make a folder with the characters name and place it into Kamihime Player/Game/Nutaku files, use the second, third, and fourth Windows application in the Nutaku game folder to install the files, not the Python versions. Then Vwalah! You updated the launcher, if you're incompetent to understand that, you don't deserve my help.

if you go to enhance you have a tab with awaken, costs 3 dragons eyes and the unit gets reset to level 1.
Limit breaking it anew is more expensive than before but the max stats are higher in return and abilitys get improved.

Yeah, the player doesn't work for DMM Versions. Ya gotta learn Python to use those. So in other words, wait a year for 2018's Christmas to get hers translated while the DMM Version gets a huge load of content.

Nah, Python is relatively easy, so you may start earlier... although I'd recommend don't 'try to learn it immediately.' Good thing the OP wrote it in Python w/ RenPy engine.

Just delete char folder from Kamihime_Player\game\nutaku and run 3_write_config.cmd to re-generate congig file.

Anyway if you try to open the Scenario.json file in the browser and translate it with google i think you can get an idea of what they are talking about.
