View Full Version : Thinking of using a Coin Boost?

I regularly make use of the boosts (along with spending about 5-6 FGs on stam refreshes) whenever my gold starts getting low (I started playing FKG back in March and am still evolving/leveling girls), but last week I thought I saw something odd but wasn't able to confirm it until today:

The coin boost appears to stop being applied during the last five minutes of its duration. The mission complete report will show the boost being active, but the gold amount is the same as what was collected and the gold total confirmed that the final amount wasn't boosted. I don't think it's a display issue since I was definitely still in the hour window but would welcome any other confirmation on this. I did submit a ticket just in case.

i have never used coin boost but if you are having issues or concerns you could submit a support ticket to nutaku.

The coin boost count in time you run map not duration.
When you reach count limit boost will worn out even timer still running.

During Febuary I always left 15 mins+ on boost duration but boost effect already gone.
After that I never use it, just only run normal map to collect coin.

PS. During our current event the busty stamp rally or what ever it's name I don't care.
On DMM they do held coin boost campaign for 1 week.
You will get more coin from every map you run 1.5 time from normal.
But no something like that on Nutaku since it's Namely server hahaha.

Wait, the boost is only good for X number of runs or an hour, whichever comes first? That is not only news to me, it isn't at all reflected in the description of the boost. Interesting.

Yes the boost work as x number of run, not on timer countdown.

That x must be quite high since I have used it and had it work for 8-9 runs before (2 full stam bars I used 1 FG to add extra).

I can say it will be around 90 run before effect worn out.
I broke about 60 gems for testing it during that time.

I'd only done about 35 runs or so.

No, I get that; I'm just trying to understand what exactly this hidden threshold is. I can't fathom why a limit on runs would even need to be in place.

From the FKG Support Team:

Hey Taon,

There is no secondary limit on the number of runs. As mentioned in our previous reply, if it happens again, try to send us a screenshot and we'll investigate further as for now we are unable to reproduce the issue.

Regards,
Flower Knight Girl Team

So, just a bug then; I'll try to reproduce it this weekend.

Good to know it's bug.
Hope they already fix it, if not it's mean this bug stay for very long f*cking time.

Okay, here's video proof of the bug: https://vimeo.com/227544029

The bug isn't the bug I thought it was however; the boost did apply for the full hour which ended between the first and second run. The display timer for the boost on the main screen appears to be slow and showing 3 extra minutes that I shouldn't have had (even though the multiplier still shows up at the end of the second mission, the amount isn't multiplied at all).

For what it's worth, this hour test resulted in 40 total runs that were boosted with an average (boosted) gain of 42873g/run.

Thanks for proving it Taon, with this I hope those staff may fix this problem.
And I not surprise they let this buggy alive for 6 months.

So it's just a display bug about the duration of the boost?

Well, at least, with your video, now I understand why I always see half of the bugs gold added to the counter: the other half is added after the map reappears (on your vid, 7000 for the boss, 3500 during the fight anim, 3500 on the map)

Man, 40 runs? How many gems did you spend to resupply your stamina??

Yeah, just seems to be a display bug. Slow timer or something; I purchased the boost at 1020 and the last boosted run ended right at 1120 but with 3m still showing on the timer. And yeah, I was confused as well about the gold from the boss until I was watching more closely. As for stam, I burned 11 FGs; but hey, we got 15 yesterday!

So 11fg, 40runs, must give 17M...
Ok, I take note ^^

Also, I noticed in your video you don't spam mousewheel/Next button to go faster, so maybe you can get more in that hour (for more FG, of course)

Only 1.7m I'm afraid, Missed your decimal there.

Damn you, dot char !!!

(Yeah, I got that, but my fingers didn't...)

Well, a amount like that would be nice, I'm currently leveling equipment, and I'm stuck to upgrading all my lvl 1 to avoid big expenses.

Y'know, I've read from several people about how doing that makes things go faster, but it just doesn't seem to work for me. During battles it just freezes the action for a bit then resumes at hyperspeed until it catches up, but doesn't really seem as though it saves time. Maybe I'm just not doing it fast enough; I don't know.

did you reduce quality to "Low" that usually does it for me pretty well

What is this mousewheel method?

What is this mousewheel method?

Movement of the mousewheel is picked up as multiple button press triggers, so it's the fastest way you can mash buttons to speed up a fight.
Try it out during any ingame fight, it should be visible.

Nope, I'm still lost xD
Please explain in more depth?

When you have a fight running on the fast speed, if you wheel your mouse up and down it actually skips some of the combat animations thus making the fast speed even faster.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks for the tip ;)
