This is an Item Collection event. Farm up as many event items from maps as possible to reach milestones to upgrade the copy of event unit you'll get in the end

Introducing the Magic Priestess Eterna (http://aigis.wikia.com/wiki/Eterna), a Black rarity Bishop. The only existing Black Bishop (even in DMM so far), she is a hybrid Mage-Healer, who hurls fireballs at enemies normally, and switches to healing allies with all the Mages' power (and slowness). Eterna in particular have Heal Magic Plus as a skill, same as Paula, so her curative mode last quite a long time (and gets pretty hefty power boost and reach), so care and planning is required in knowing when to relegate her from AoE attacks to healbot duties. On the other hand, should you need a far-reaching healer, she's the woman to go to, as her rarity allow her to become dedicated healer right after the deployment. As per customary for a Black rarity character, she has a passive ability from the get go, and it is always appreciated "Attack Speed Up (S)". Awakening strengthens that to "Attack Speed Up", further increasing Eterna's DPS/HPS. Skill Awakening is interesting, as it gives her ability to heal allies and fire down the fiery destruction upon enemies at the same time, at the cost of original skill's range increase and half of its power (changes x1.6 power to x0.8 power). Such sacrifice is steep indeed, but it could be used to save up on healer and mage slots or allow her to survive in isolated deployment away from the main forces. Duration long (one and half a minute), and cooldown is even longer, so it is doubtful to see her using her SAW more than once a map. Still, as we have Paula with original skill, SAW'ing Eterna would still leave our bunny bishop to cover the range-and-power niche)

Likewise, Introducing the Martial Arts Princess Alice (http://aigis.wikia.com/wiki/Alice), a Black rarity Monk. All the usual Monk goodness - modest cost, 2-block and evasion, now with the Black tier stats!) Her skill reinforces her anti-zergrush prowess with +1 block, increased defense and counterattacks, for the whole minute at max. Being Black, she is entitled to Ability from birth, and it is another reinforcement to her anti-rush kit - Whirlwind Kick - giving a (40%) chance to attack all enemies in (120) range, even if she does not engage them. Awakening adds the monk tokenization to it. Skill Awakening trades increased block, defense and counters for permanent staged increase to her max HP (up to x1.9 after third use, with later patch) and massive attack buff. Last stage returns defense increase into the play (with latter patch), making her quite a beefy tanky facewrecker. All in all, a premier Shrine Black.

Another Item Collection event, so close after previous one, uhh... And it's for Black rarity unit... Hope you still have some crystals left :D As always, higher the map difficulty, better the item payoff, and if you want to perfect the unit, you will have to cough up some crystals or leftover treats. But if you don't, despair not, as event unit this time around is really not the make-or-break one, given the existence of other event Bishops, and is perfectly serviceable even without being perfected.

On the event itself, pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere! It's a Halloween event all right, so let's pretend that holiday is arrived earlier :D Remember, Jack-o-Lanterns fly whenever they want and shred anyone they come in contact with hi-speed gyration smashes) New arrival Pumpkin King has pretty massive AoE radius, so bait him with lightning rod away from your camp and snipe with extreme prejustice. And there's the star of the show - Dracolich DracoRICH, the big brother of our dear friend from the previous event, Zombie Dragon. He might have slightly lower attack and defense thanks to the lack of map multipliers, but attacks noticeably faster and is clad into composite armor of 600 defense and 50% MR to make burning him down harder. Prepare to facetank him with either status-immune duelist (Rowanna or Thetis), or surround him with two-three meat shields to bounce around when he paralyses his current victim.

Farming-wise, 90/12 should provide highest drop rates among non-guaranteed maps with maximum yeld of 2.167 souls per stamina. If you feel yourself lucky, you may try 50/7 for a chance of 2.286 souls per stam. But remember, drop rates there are worse, and missing a single major (x5) drop hurts more. If you feel yourself extra unlucky, there's a guaranteed soul drop map in 70/8, but it is hardly efficient with 1,625 souls/stam.

And Dracorich? Dracorich? Is the translation team serious? What is it it rich in dragon bones or something? I mean we have Liches with an "L" why is this with an "R"? Maybe we should change Liches to Riches, heavens knows there be more jokes to be had.

Anyway, it's a problem that occurs sometimes when a translation team doesn't realize that a word was Western to begin with. I've seen Fenrir become Fenril or Fenlil (though I still think the former sounds awesome), I've heard of Orichalcum becoming Olichalcum... stuff like. I suppose there isn't much excuse for it, I don't think it would have taken much effort to look it up... I mean, I feel that when you're translating Japanese to English, words that aren't originally Japanese tend to make themselves obvious...

This event is kinda making me happy just because we actualy have to tank a paralyzing unit now and i have every immune unit in the game (thetis, rowanna, elenia) including Lianna who can heal that stuff. Well tbh i had none of them awakend, Lianna isnt even cced yet but since thetis and elenia were both cc70 i just had to chose which to AW. I went for Elenia for the obvious omph reasons. Her skill went to 4/5 with just 3 rainbow fairys too. This luck better continues during the event.
I even found use for Liddy on that map for just some extra faster clearing of dracoRich. Even placed saki, farne, grace since Elenia only needs one AW healer to tank the DracoLich. Sadly my Sheryl is still so new that shes lvl 10 , but thinking about it now... that doesnt change her skill at all. When farming the map i could just add her too. Kinda overkill but im happy i could use some units i usualy never deploy lol.

As MalusCourvus said foreign words tend to pop out with Japanese since there written in katakana. The only way I can think of is that using another method to translate. As an example, I typed in Vampire Lord (Eden's class) in katakana in Google translate and it gave me Vampire Road. Granted they sound similar in Japanese but one can use basic understanding to see which is more appropriate.

Also to further counter lolix, they managed to to get Dracolich's original name, Sevlml, which should be even more difficult to transliterate from katakana, but they put an r rather than an l in the dragon's new title. Unless they're trying to be different it's a poor mistake. Also Elyse for B. Iris doesn't count. That gets a slide because even though there is a discernible difference between イリス (B. Iris) and イーリス (G. Iris) in Japanese, that nuance is lost in English. (Mentioned in case anyone uses it as a counter argument)

Hmm, it's possible that the Dunning-Kruger effect (thanks for clearing it up) may be at fault here. Having seen the previous translations there are some interesting mistakes, so that may be it. The weird thing is though that those mistakes were minor grammar errors that may simply slipped past the editor. The actual Japanese terms for the most part seem intact though altered, as with mononoke rather than youkai. But they both relatively mean the same thing so it's not too much of a problem. As to their native language playing a role, that may also be true but again, having seen the previous translations I am not entirely sure on it. Wouldn't a person whose bilingual notice these?

The funny thing is that the more we try to explain it the less sense the actual mistake makes. It certainty is an odd one.

Rule of thumb, drop rates of such things are always the same in regular events. Plat Armors are always considered 10% drop chance.

the vamp hunter (preferably awakened because it gaines 80% damage vs undead) + dancers is really good at taking down well , undead monsters.

Fran is good because she has a damage boost but considering her base stats and the fact that she's not awaken (just 50% bonus vs undead) , i'm not sure if she can break through his armor without a dancer.



Anyway , seeing that you don;t have claudia/dancer , i'd suggest trying to place shery on one od the 2 spots which block the spawn points . Considering the pumpkin spawns first , she will block him and eventually kill him , before he can bring his aoe near the rest of your team. (ofc , don't have anything placed near that can get aoe-ed and therefore strain your healers)


With enough healing she should survive even when the dracorich spawns , but since she can block just 1 target , let him pass. Make your defense on the last line before your base and use cornelia and lolonee to block him. That's similar to the strategy i use with my claudia (it's really similar to the one in the guide actually) , but you will use sherry instead





Otherwise , i'd honestly try something with eden , an alchemist and again , an multihitting attack (probably fran , she can probably shred him at 0 defense). Not sure if dracorich can be paralized tho....haven't tried

You need to keep the pumpkin right at the stairs with 1 unit that won't die , even if you can't kill it right away , and let the dracolich get down and try to use eden then.

Main thing is to separate the 2

If the King is only surviving by a small margin you might want to consider including Sandra as one of the blockers you're deploying at the bottom of the map. That's an extra 1k+ true damage from a slot that normally doesn't contribute much to bringing him down and her skill deals amplified damage against the flying pumpkins as well.

Wierd, using Katie and Aria you should have enough UP to immediatly gank the pumpking when he arrives. Yet alone because u withdraw units in his range asap. The draco takes his time to enter after the king. If you lack magic dps on the left side for the pumpkin knights use a cheap magic dps unit like solano or another witch or just use Sherry to block the left side as honestly pretty much everything can gank the king that has some attack power and can kill him. If you can generate enough UP with katie and aria you can bring out any duelist also dragon riders if you got the event one for example. Heck AW Elenia costs 38 UP.

I use a nearly identical set up (except I tank "SkullGreymon"(lol) w/ AW Rowanna) I gank the pumpkin king w/ Aw 39 Sherry and to survive and kill him all she needs is Eterna's skill activated and a healer (CC60 Fedora for me) replacing monica. I activate monica's skill to help kill the last enemies on her side before I withdraw her.

Draco usually gets a hit on Sherry before I get fedora placed but she always survives, and I don't have Iris (CC60) placed before he engages Rowanna in hand-to-hand.(the first time I did and 3* it but every time after he killed her before switching to melee, not sure why? So now I wait to place her and I don't think I even need her really?)

Point is if you place sherry ON Pumpkin king, not before and activate Eterna's skill she should survive (with help from your AW Iris and/or maybe Chydis w/ her ability active and/or any healer replacing monica). Also activate Sherry skill asap to kill a little quicker.

This is because Dracorich will not change to melee mid-ranged attack, but he does change targets if someone new is placed in range before he completes it. The first time you placed her, you'd done so you placed her before he began a ranged attack, probably placing her as he was walking forward to the position. After that you timed it to place her while he was in the middle of his ranged attack animation, which has a somewhat long pre-attack portion, and so he finished said ranged attack before swapping to melee.

90/12 actually bested me with repeated 1 star a good 10 times. If it wasn't my second-rate feng shui/healer not being able to pull her own weight or me forgetting to switch Eterna to healing, Draco would run the paralysis chains so fast that I couldn't recover in time. Eventually I got so frustrated with it that I went out of my way to AW Thetis and threw her in front of it (even that got dicey since her defense barely holds at AW lv30 but it worked out in the end).

All in all the event's been a good reminder to me at least that I still need to push for AW on some classes/roles otherwise I'm gonna have a nasty struggle against the more situational battles.

min cost isnt realy important for her, if you aim for 1400 you should aim for 1500 for max skill if u want to skill AW her. Otherwise everything over 700 is solid enough honestly

If you are going to use sc on them , it's probably better of to aim for 1400 and use a fairy for the last skill up....which is exactly what ill do because i've calculated my sc usage and natural regen to fit exactly on 1400 during the last day of the event

When are you dropping her? I know something similar happened to me once when I placed her too soon. The Pumpkin King had not yet been close enough to block, and once she was placed, he began attacking, slowing him enough for her to start fighting the smaller pumpkin instead while he slipped past, and Dracorich came out and began fighting her. I find it works best to place her when the Pumpkin King is halfway across the slot.

This, more or less. If you saw the video, than I followed that pattern, but used Phylis in place of Aria, Liana instead of Chydis, Momiji instead of Maribel, Lolonee instead of Claudia, and Sybila instead of Imelia. That led to the defeat I mentioned above, but the next time, I swapped the places of Lolonee and Sybilla (using the former to block the Pumpkin King instead of Sybilla), and withdrew Alissa when her health got too low and put down Verdinate instead which got me 3 stars.

she can be usefull but there is decent amount of "better" choices and many ppl just focus on best ones

well , i consider myself a min-max gamer as well. I generally don;t roleplay , nor do i go for waifus either (probably the only exception would be raven , but i;d rate her a decent unit either way) , and i still think she;s a pretty good unit. I mean , she is the bishop with the strongest attack in the game right now.

She has the same skill as paula (which everyone regards as a very good bishop) , so that means she beats her all around because of higher stats and black skill (1 second to deploy) and all that is at a 33 cost (as oposed to 32 for paula). As for SAWs , paula is a direct upgrade of her skill , increasing the healing to 1.8 from 1.6 and increased range to 1.4 from 1.3

It's a good skill , and can become a pretty good healer , but the fact is , she still has bishop healing speed for 1 , and she becomes a full time healer for quite a long time (70 seconds) , which means that you just placed a healer at 32 cost.


Eterna loses power but she will attack and heal at the same time. She won't heal as much as paula during skill usage , but she will heal faster because of her attack speed increase. She will also attack at the same time , and considering max level and prince buffs and any other potential other attack boosters , her attack will still be in the 700-800 range. That;s like having a gold mage+ healer combo in your team at the cost of just a mage


All in all , in my opinion eterna is the strongest bishop in the game right now.


I mean , looking at DMM , reve might be an interesting option to have , but other then that , i don't realistically see a better bishop in the game

My Problem with her is... i have AW Farne who straight outshines her anyways. In cases i need raw power i have Grace whos a monster. In case i need stable aoe dps or nuke like fireballs i have Garania&Sasha. I was blessed at the shrine with many magic premium units especialy the aoe ones. Bishops are generaly no units im realy interested in. If i want hybrid units shamans/priest warriors are a lot more to my liking. I still did get Eterna at 800 Souls cause... shes a free black and in no means bad. Just... ill propably be able to level her in what? 1-2 months not sooner. Theres still other units waiting to be max cced and after those the ones i want to AW still need to AWed and after that... all my AWed units in the last 2 months are only lvl40 cause i had no time to raise any of them higher, so they get treatment too.
Good thing about this is im not too hard tempted to roll on gacha... i just cant stand the idea of not maxing everything i want.

Bishops in general have started getting power creeped all the way to the bench on DMM. There's many ways to deal magical aoe damage--Rino (http://aigis.wikia.com/wiki/Rino) alone puts a shit ton of magic users out of work--and mages have received serious buffs so Eterna has plenty of competition even when the map favors long range and the classic fireball splash pattern.

Don't rally dislike her, I just don't think I'll need a bishop in the near future. I already maxed the gold rarity dwarf (can't remember her name). Her power is reasonable and she give me more gold, which I'm always consuming.
