On the one hand, $50 for 3 guaranteed golds and slightly increased odds for 6*s doesn't sound awful.
On the other hand, if I'm spending $50 for a single 11-roll, I almost feel I want more than just 3 guaranteed random 5*s.
I'd honestly rather pay big money for a single choose-your-own ticket than multiple guaranteed random rolls of the dice.
So, I think I'll pass this time.
At least it's a marginally more intriguing deal than previous weekly gachas.

in my case, i went for it. they did mention that the 6* rates were increased (additional 5* pulls had an increased chance to show too) and it paid off by giving me Wax Vine (along with easter balloon vine... who does have some big..... balloons...). I think the deal comes down to what you want to try for...
it's really an 11 pull with 3 5* or 6* guaranteed, with increased 5* rates for the other 8 pulls, with increased 6* rates for all pulls, AND it gives 40 flower gems.... that's a lot to take in...

eh, i got 5 magic girls and don't plan on another anytime soon so i decided to pass myself. if one does show randomly (i do want miko lycoris and easter helenium) then by all means they are welcome... but daily deals or gachas that forcefully hand them out (even the two I want), i'll skip
i want at least 5 rainbows of each type before i hunt for more and i'm still short 4 hit, 2 slice, and 2 pierce girls...

At this point there aren't many deals I'd really go for aside from all-time good deals like the Black Friday deal from December 2016 ($10 for a 6* of your choice, $5 if you'd never bought Nutaku gold before that point).
That said, I'd consider a deal similar to the current one if the 6* Knight was someone like Ghost Weed or Cactus. Blue manyu are the only type I'm not running low on given recent developments (evolved+bloomed Black Baccara and evolved Wax Vine (slice), evolved Jersey Cudweed and eventually bloomed Setaria (magic), bloomed Mei Plumblossom and Laurentia (pierce)).
Apricot, yes she is very good and highly recommended.
Getting super counter when she blooms.
I picked up one for the equipment slot.
I have her 5* version and is good too.

Nutaku doesn't want me to whale anymore. They switched to ProBiller, and I can't even add any creditcard details or paypal info there.
Looks like I wasnt the only one that noticed that paypal doesnt work anymore while buying Nutaku Gold, very odd indeed.

i'm trying to get 5 of each type before I go right after any more 6* girls... so considering i got a team of lycoris, helenium, iberis, scotchbroom, and sakura already.... not grabbing anymore guaranteed magic girls for a while...
but if a gacha randomly throws one at me, the what can you do...

Cacao is one of the few knights that increase skill damage I believe, and her bloom is basically a souped up version of Dendrobium. I will be getting her.

Given how long it's been since a 5* / 6* ticket sale, I really was optimistic after the disaster this past week that Nutaku's FKG team would at least feel inclined to host a generous sale to garner back some goodwill.
I love FKG as a game, but I don't have much faith in its Nutaku team...it feels like it's been six months since I was last able to buy tickets, and six straight months with no ability to customize my team is really disappointing
Today's Daily deal is Aizoon Stonecrop and a rainbow Skill bloom for 3500 Nutaku gold. Way too soon to put her back into a disconut as there are many other rainbows that didn't even get a chance yet since their inception.

For those who don't already have her (I've already managed to roll her twice) King Protea's not half-bad for a 5* unit.
I wish there was more transparency as to, how and why the daily deal girls were selected, though. Or at least some sort of formula or algorithm that led to all the 6*s and 5*s rotating through sales once before being offered again.
I think they just made a list of random girls for a generator to pick, similar to the actual daily deals about 6 months ago.
Anyway King Protects is decent, but rainbows are very easy to get on Nutaku so gold knights basically fill the Mai Waifu Doctrine. I want to see how long until we get the rarity grown update

There are definitely more 5* characters I want right now than 6* characters, but that's largely due to the numerical disparity in the number of characters for each rank (and the relatively large proportion of 6* deals compared to 5* deals.) It really does boil down to waifus though, there's no 5* character out there who I really want or need for my team that would provide any battle advantage compared to my current team makeup.
If you want to spend NG for the current girl then go for it. Nothing's going to change the fact that it might be useful, but then again you're asking for a girl with 5.2k base ATK then sure King Protea is for you. Statistically saying that most people will buy her for the sake of collection.

honestly, if the abilities the unit gets is OP, does the base atk matter much?
offensive wise you would want both, but if it's something like def up and evade, then that low atk unit is already playing defense

I happened to roll Dalmatian Bellflower in my second 5* roll in the desperate attempt to grab Tiger Lily.
So, logic dictates that if you roll the weekly Step Up gacha, Phob, you're going to get Tiger Lily.
And then we'll both scream to Nutaku and demand the opportunity to trade with other players.
Hilarious because I got Cattleya swimsuit from the Thursday Gacha deal. Anyway overall good deal, hopefully this stream of weekend dress bloom deals last the entirety of July or even Summer.

I don't really have a use for Cattleya (Swimsuit) except maybe nations battles (when they get good again) I love her 6* though and run it with the mains. I needed the dress bloom (along with about a million more), so I went ahead and got it. Put the bloom on Scarlet Tulip since she got a big buff and looks like one who wants to tangle with the next big raid boss. :wink:

Welp, FKG devs did it again. A 5* code character from a 6$ book is being sold for 50$. She's pretty bad so it's more like a trophy unit. But 50$? Really? Avoid this offer at all cost, even if you want her. They'll probably resell her at a lower price. Also the 6* it's a lie, she's 5*.

eh, if you want 6* girls, there's a rainbow medal gacha as well.... each attempt is 150 rainbow medals and 11 premium draws
but it's 3k gold per attempt so... yeah... you can get up to 750 rainbow medals total just from the offer, and they made it a 7% drop rate for 5* with a 3% drop rate for 6* girls...
depends on how much you want to spend, but i got one draw of it and traded instantly for Herbaceous Peony. That now gives me 5 Slice girls... (Herb Peony, Acacia, Fritillaria, Dusty Miller, and Wax Vine)

Yeah, I'm glad I just used the 6* medals I got from the weekly gacha deal (which otherwise just gave me salt) on Hollyhock as I haven't seen a deal for her since starting the game nearly a full year ago.
I also feel like a few characters -- Aizoon, Apricot, Dusty Miller, Loquat -- are really heavily pushed on daily deals while others are neglected. While both Victorias are on my team, I don't recall ever seeing a daily or weekly deal for either.
We really need a decent 5* / 6* ticket deal, it feels like it's been more than half a year since they were last available.

That's irrelevant when operating in foreign markets. If Product A is legal for purchase in Country A, but illegal in Country B, then Product A can't be sold in Country B without running into legal issues.
That said, the wheels of law, particularly across borders, can turn pretty slowly especially if you're a small company.

Rarity growth is something to keep in mind for sure. I realize blooms reset if you chose to grow them.
but is likely a year away at best and I have only one of my 5* so far that has been released and interests me, and that is Ardisia Bride, who I don't use now at all. The rest are coming out later like Rainbow Rose. The other one is 4* who only will be amped up and ready, key add to Kerria team, that one is Bianca Tulip

Working on Snowdrop, Bonci, and Epidendrum(swimsuit) right now and waiting on blooms. if Aconite comes I will get her, if she don't then Epi will do the job.
I use the blooms on the girls that are needed now for Whale and Nations and raid boss events. Girls like Greenbell, Pitahaya, Dahlia and Tall Stewartia. They don't even have rarity growth yet on DMM. Its doubtfull that they will get rarity growth from me.

You do realize flower gems are distributed regularly from events right, no one is forced to buy them from 727
Also you wont be rarity growing everyone as there arent that many to do so in the first place

You get 22 rainbow stones per batch pull. The absolute cheapest rarity growths are 4-slot/5-skill gacha golds which require 500 rainbow stones. That's 23 batch pulls or up to 1150 FG. More common girls can cost up to 750 rainbow stones. Getting enough for a single girl simply will not happen in a reasonable timeframe without paying.
How close is Nutaku to finishing the blooming backlog?

Fairly sure that Nutaku is falling behind further each month with Blooms. We bloom less girls than DMM does in the same time they tell me, so Nutaku will NEVER catch up at this rate.

Well, there's typically 2 bloomed girls every week (pretty much each time they change the main/rerun events). Whether or not they give a 6* a chace to bloom is random, but they always give at least one 5* bloom status...
but yeah, i'm sure they're quite behind... cause each time DMM does blooming for girls, it's ALWAYS one 6* and THREE 5* girls...
but people forget... Nutaku and DMM are two separate servers... it's the same case with any online game that's spread around the world, servers are gonna do things differently... even if Nutaku is doing things worse than DMM...
Not to sound like an ass, but it pretty much comes down to "be patient and deal with the wait" or "give up on the game and move on", cause all Nutaku support will say is simply "we're sorry, but we'll think about it" and do nothing...
Yes, it costs alot of rainbow stones to rarity grow a 2-5 star knight, as intended. Because god forbid YourGames tries to implement something that resembles any kind of actual end game content right?

Working on my third rarity growth since Christmas. It's 1150 gems for the cheapest ones. "Dealing with it" is relatively easy on DMM because they didn't design it to be ignored by 90% of players. Petals are also supposed to be easily obtainable via quest reward or coin exchange or the occasional farm maps.
The endgame content is maps currently recommending 680k power without a helper, not improving your characters.

Anemone's easily one of my favorite 6* characters. Great combat abilities, great appearance, great voice, even an unexpectedly great H-scene. (And I dislike and skip most the H-scenes.) I've never personally understood the value in spending real money for dupes so I won't be purchasing this, but anyone who doesn't have Anemone is foolish not to grab her.
What I'm more curious about is the logic behind this atrocious weekend gacha. If I'm spending $20, I either want something concrete, or I want to at least be buying my way to a great deal in a Step Up. There's no reason whatsoever for me to spend more than $7 on gacha rolls. $7 I can defend gambling away on chance for a bit of fun, but $20 is offensive.

and yeah, about the rarity growth, it does suck, but keep in mind that there's tons on DMM (gacha games in general for asia) that still whale and throw so much money at the game (as in THOUSANDS per whale... EASY)... they're gonna try to make a profit off it... no matter how screwed up the pricing is (i'm looking at you, Pero Pero Seduction)
and knowing nutaku, you're gonna wish it took 1100+ for the cheapest growths cause they'll likely make it far more.... no offense against america (i do live in it), but when they get a hold of games like this, they make it more expensive than the original... we're already seeing that on other games I play (or have played since ones like sengoku providence is gone from the english side).
and again, all they'll do is handwave the complaints... so better save up like the plague if you aren't pulling/buying 6* girls...

eh, we get so many 5* girls from events (and they can go 5/4 from them too), that I never really cared about going after gacha/daily deal girls that aren't 6*
i mean hey, if I do get one, that's nice (i did get balloon vine easter... who has some humongous "balloons" on her). but never really something I went too hard on...
but if it's what you like, that's up to you... after seeing my 5 rainbow magic girls smash everything (they alone are sitting around 150k power with 3 out of 5 bloomed now), i can't ever find myself caring about the gold girls anymore...

She was relatively recent addition to the cast, and has not been made available in a deal before. Trust me, I've kept my eyes out for her.

Love those Gacha 5* girls. Some pack more punch than 6* on certain missions and bosses. Benched more than a few 6* on the whale for them.
A few are just fun to watch and there is the garden where you got to just try them and see what they do.

Chocolate Cosmos is a great example of a 5* who really earns her keep with most maps, especially Whale Maps. I love when the healing panel lines up at just the right spot.

It is startling how quickly she's already Evolved, Level 70 and with full skills / equipment slots unlocked -- the only reason I'm holding off having her join my squads right now is she lacks the 2nd Affection boost. But I basically saved all my skillblooms / dressblooms / purple manyus in anticipation for this.
I wish there was a way you could designate two or three alternating special assistant leaders (instead of just one or randomly anyone available) so I could rotate her and Madonna without choosing one or the other.
Her voice is like Victoria's -- so smooth and addictive.

Swimsuit's the one I use as she has a slightly better visual design, but either Chocolate Cosmos is a worthwhile addition. Oxalis is another 5* that really packs a punch on my squad, probably not as strong a hitter as an alternative 6* option like Cactace but she holds her keep and will be great once she's bloomable.
Anemone's one of my favorite 6*s as she has the 6* version of the 3x hits, which is definitely the best skill as it's equally effective against mobs and bosses.
Now here's an unrelated question: Who's the last 5* slice girl in the collection book? (Organized by default, low-high rarity.) Cute design but can't find her anywhere on FKG's character pages.

unless they start giving access rarity boosting on nutaku, 6* do come with typically the better effects too... but between the scenes and the fact that I only have 14 rainbow girls total, i'm not keeping 5*'s out my roster just yet (they do help push my whaleship to a little over 900k at the moment, with the main 4 teams having about 520k). plus when they can bloom (and I have access to it), they do surpass an evolved 6* in some cases...
also, i have no problems with loli.... given who my avatar (and especially profile pic) is... i still enjoy Lycoris just as much as Helenium and Ghost Weed... it's just that the cuter ones tend to get my attention more (hell, i made a beeline for Herbaceous Peony when I had the chance)

yeah, i won't deny that....
the missions needing about 1.3mil power is doable for me only with her (i got the swimsuit one) on the team and a bit of luck on the skill activations for the ship...
cause when you factor in teams, weakness damage can more or less make up for about 50% of your ship power (it's how I cleared the majority of the maps with only about 900k average power between the 5 ship types)
(plus I do have a thing for holly as well....)

I wasn't trying to bash lolis -- everyone's entitled to their own tastes and preferences. I just personally avoid them.
I'm just in favor of complete customization of my squads favoring personal preference without automatically favoring 6*s for rarity or power. There are actually 6*s I own who are only on my whale maps, while there still plenty of 5* characters on my four main squads. That's just because I design my squads based on how much I like the girls, rather than how much damage they deal.
Similarly, four of my five 'A-team' characters on my first squad are not bloomable, while I own plenty of characters who I could stick in there that are bloomed. I could have a much more powerful first squad if I went for my strongest characters (Kerria and Saffron are both on my second team, and bloomed) but I'd rather keep the five characters I like the most on my first squad. It's a privilege to be on that squad! You have to earn it by being the Knight Commander's favorites.

I still use some 5* Knights (Toad Lily, Lantana, Evening Primrose, Yukata Dogwood, Laurentia, Gardenia) in my main set of squads partly because I like their designs and mostly because I wipe out the vast majority of pest battles in 1-2 rounds anyhow so sticking solely to my strongest Knights isn't necessary.

People on Discord are actually trying to defend the loot crates... I'd say that I should leave the server, but Discord is basically the only way to get your opinion heard by the devs (even if it's generally ignored).
I also just realized that the loot crates are worse than I remembered. I thought coins were the worst thing you could get, but then I saw that the dragons in the dragon pack were only lvl 20s. I know lvl 100 dragons aren't uncommon in events, but they are much more difficult to farm when you need them. For example, I'm in the situation where I had a bunch 5* slice girls to evolve, and after all my event/whale shop dragons were used, I still have 12 slice girls left to evolve.

Loot crates, from the consumer point of view, are a terrible idea. From the dev/publisher PoV though, they're a gold mine; as such it's not surprising that Discord has gradually been taking the shape of an echo chamber.
I have no desire to purchase any loot crates, but I'm not going to fault the devs for putting them in for those who want them.

on the other hand.... loot crates are seriously rigged against you. yeah it's a gamble, but if my chances aren't decent, i'm not looking at it.
but in something like this where there's ALREADY a gacha system, loot crates are more or less ignored by me. only exception is if it'd do something like spit out a random girl that ISN'T 4* or below (i'd prefer random 6*'s or guaranteed rainbow medals).... then it could be worth looking at

I thought so too, but considering when I add together all my girls stats in my helper without Ampies or affection, and I get ~108k... and they are all max ampied, I have my doubts ampies are included... because I would expect to see helpers of ~130k.

To be fair, I don't think they were even in the office today, there were none of the community managers on Discord pretty much all day. Daily deal is Mei Plumblossom, rainbow skillbloom, and some manyus for 3500 NG.
Also, the gacha display for the new Kingdom Fest gacha is not a mistake, the only 6*s are Black Baccarra, Alpinia, and Alstroe, and the only golds are Lily R and Onci. Multiple rolls on Discord have pretty much confirmed this.

probably next year at best started in march on DMM. You can use blooms but keep in mind that they all reset when you RG a girl. I got Ardisia Bride on the backburner with white tulip. Ampys stay with the girl but not blooms

At first this was my thinking too; "why wouldn't the blooms stick; it just devalues all < 6* blooms". But, after reading the article after my second cup of coffee, I realized that any blooms applied reduce the number of rainbow stones needed to grow a given girl (by over 100 in the case of 5* girls). Considering you only get 22 stones per 11 draw, that's a considerable amount of stones saved. You probably would actually want to use the 5* blooms before rarity growth.
3-4* blooms aren't worth considering really; who in the world actually buys 3* and 4* blooms?

I ended up actually going Firethorn instead of either Heather or Pomegranate. I very nearly went Pomegranate but decided at the last second that I disliked her battle sprite animations. Honestly, at this point I'm just stocking up the last few slots in my whale squad anyway so it doesn't really matter.
I purchased my summer gacha stuff several hours before the daily update and the switch from blue dragons to purple and yellow manyu harvesting -- and I haven't seen any option to repurchase the summer gacha tiers. So, I'm guessing I somehow missed the cutoff to have another shot at that. At this juncture, the dressbloom and skillblooms would almost be more valuable to me than the tickets -- and I bet we'll see a dressbloom / skillbloom daily deal during this sale.
While I appreciate the sales immensely (though I still believe selling exchange tickets instead of gacha tickets at this price point was an error), I do almost worry that I've gotten everything I wanted all at once, which may diffuse my enthusiasm for future sales. There's a few future characters slated for release that intrigue me, but the only 5* character available now I'm remotely interested in is Yarrow. I guess if Heather or Pomegranate are offered on deep daily deal sales, I'd consider them. But I'm basically in a position where my entire whale squads are set up, all I need to do is level up everyone I've acquired.
This could backfire for Nutaku, at least for me -- having gotten all the characters I want future daily deals are going to be tough sells.
Though maybe that's Nutaku's strategy -- having invested so much in characters, they could now switch gears and start offering skillblooms and dressbloom packages, or blooming elixir and petal packages, and I'd be all over those.

I decided to try my luck one more time with the reissued gacha in the hopes of getting Halloween Herb Pony but ended up with Halloween Lagurus instead, who is nonetheless someone I didn't already have.
Figured I might as well splurge on the summer sale gacha too and get Ghost Weed for my active teams and Sarracenia as another drinking buddy for Hop, Heather and Gardenia. The second step gave me another new 5* (Tree Pony) which is nice.

The first summer daily deal was phenomenal, and the others so far have been very standard and not discounted.
Honestly this reinforces my suspicion that Nutaku’s FKG staff intended to sell 3 5* random gacha roll tickets in the first deal, as their own description of the offer stated. And someone on the staff messed up and offered 3 premium tickets.
So really, the only great deal so far was likely a Nutaku error. Heck, even offering the summer one-time weekly gacha twice (for early purchasers) was a huge error.
3000 gold for up to 2 of each rainbow skill and dress blooms is a decent deal, as rarity growth will be a future update.

That reminds me that I never did use the rainbow dressbloom and gold skillbloom I got from the summer gacha until today. Kerria's going to last much longer against the super raid bosses now that she has another 1100 defense to work with. I threw the gold bloom on Gardenia since she needed it the most out of my active Knights (20% -> 22%).

One could argue that the dress slot is a problem, but considering how lucky getting a rainbow pot is, getting the same rainbow on DMM at least has only happened once for me in the 2+ years I have played.
Regardless, back on topic. I wouldn't overthink this deal. Nutaku pricing is all over the place and honestly they probably could care less about mum. She is a fairly weak unit whose collection value was already taken advantage of.

Well that's an oxymoron. How could you claim that it takes a long time to accomplish in the same sentence as saying it takes less time it than a rainbow?
Remember that you need to still gain the crystals by drawing from the premium gacha. At a tiny rate of like, 22 growth stones per 11 draw.
The cheapest you can rarity grow a character is a gacha 5* knight at max equips (that's 3 dupes or dressblooms), which means 500 stones totaly for rarity growth. That is at least 23 11-rolls, or 1150 flower gems at the cheapest.
For free players, even with the high flow of flower gems on DMM, it still takes a few months of collecting. And free players likely won't have a lot of maxed out equip slot knights.
For whales, it's likely not as a big deal, especially now that leader medals are a thing, Rainbows also have a set amount before you guarantee getting a one you'd like. So they're likely to draw a ton of times anyways to get what they want.
Today's deal: 6* dressbloom and 10 FGs for 2000 NG. Not a bad deal.

Picked Cactus up a few weeks ago , just getting started on the upgrades. I like her as a everyday sweeper a lot. Bonus she has a good trigger out of the box. Cactus and then Mei going to get ATK up.

it depends entirely on the artist for every knight's bedroom scenes, some artists are actual professionals at drawing porn while others arent, which is why theres a mix of properly drawn (Iberis) and poorly drawn (Lotus) H scenes.

I think it'd be fun at one point or another to do a character ranking thread and let folks vote, akin to what the DMM forums are doing for 6*s in DMM now.
Only if we did so I'd want there to be two separate votes for each character: One based on personality / art / voice / design (the 'character', as it were) and another based on battle utility / use on teams.
I'd enjoy that thread, anyway.
Maybe I should start one sometime if others would enjoy it too and vote respectfully instead of resorting to juvenile flaming arguments.

I do complain a lot but I would never get angry, just disappointed in deals I wish were better and a little nostalgic about past deals.
Facez hit the nail with the I'm being upset about the gems, not dusty. I have just hated them doing that ever since early on to daily deals when they did it with Agave. Just feels wrong to me.

I don't know it they just messed up the Gacha Contents panel, but there is only 1 6* and 3 5* in the lineup.

If that's really the content, then you would really be paying 2000G for a bunch of 3* and maybe a 4*...
