No more contests?

Yesterday I only had two contests, now I have none, and it says I have to wait two days to get more. Does it happen to everyone, or something is bugged on my end?

For how long did you skip attending to the contests?

What do you mean by attending? I get credits for contests by playing normally, and click to collect the rewards when they run out. Now I get this:

Theres an issue where if you don't collect rewards for a while, you will no longer receive new contests. I assume Jessie meant that.
I also assume that you collected them often, maybe even every day?

I got it again, a couple days ago I ran out of contests, it said two days left until new ones. I waited, and instead of new contests the timer reset back to two days...

I wanted out the timer, and it reset to 3 days AGAIN. Help?
