Good timeofaday, brave Princes! With the second week of a Star Break comes the newest Revival mission. And not a MC one this time!
So let's get re-acquainted with the Ancient Automata!

This is a Unit Farm event. You obtain copies of event unit as a direct drop from event maps and upgrade it via regular unit combination for Cost Reductions and Skill Ups.

Star of the show:
(Re)Introducing the Automata Expert Rika (http://millenniumwaraigis.wikia.com/wiki/Rika), a Platinum rarity Puppeteer. Being the only Puppeteer so far, she represents a class that can't be healed but regenerate when not attacking. Normally she is a melee unit who blocks 1 enemy and pummels it with her huge stats, but when her skill is used, she loses that block and switches to sped-up ranged attack, allowing for an effective gatekeeping and frontline support. Awakening improves her regeneration from 6 HP / 0.5 s to 8 HP / 0.5 s and gives her 20% chance to deal critical attack (x1.8 power). Skill Awakening is most notable, as it changes her attack type from Physical to the True! Yep, powerful ranged attack that ignores all kinds of protection, on a event unit. And in distant future, Second Awakening sends her on the path of Doll Master, supercharging her regeneration in addition to some stat gains.

Seeing as it is a revival of an rather ancient event, maps should pose no real problem for any developed army, not to mention Awakened one :D A new G-tier map is added just for them, and to ease up the Rika farming, as it is 90/12 guaranteed event drop map! Anyway, Armored dolls are, well, armored, so pack your favorite magic damagers. Lava maps can be handily countered by Pippin or any other Feng-shuists, and Efreets should be dueled some distance away from your main formation, but other than that, have fun!)

As an alternative, I used a similar strategy to it (gloria's one), but with Nagi (any melee ranged should work) after gloria first skill, in the top-right, in the place where phyllis is put later (so no phyllis).
Instead of mage armor/samurai I just used a heavy armor.

Oh, and better Heavies. But they did not do much anyway.

As in Gloria's video, but Nagi on the top right (Phyllis place in video, "O" in map description), as soon as Gloria's first skill use is done. And activate Nagi's skill. And then a mage (I placed a bishop, not sure if higher range make any difference) and then a heavy armor below Nagi as soon as possible, better if it has high damage.

One of the events that I never finished when it first came. 3 starred all maps but the fairy one and couldn't get that last star on the reboot one. I did get my automata limit valued so I'm satisfied either way.

Phew, I finally manage to get min CR on Rika. I was missing a good niche unit that can change how the map is played, especially on TD events. It took me a while to 3 star Reboot G with my current team, since finding a good spot to place for Aisha took a few tries.

Congrats and at least Rika will appear in other Revivals/Events. I'm not sure if Nutaku has given her that true damage SAW as of yet, so no rush.

I would have settled for getting her Skill to rank 8+ but thankfully I was able to perfect her. Sophie & Deine ate most of my Noels and Rainbows so it's nice to have Rika in position for SAW without having to dip into my supply. The cost reduction is just gravy, all things considered.
