i used just 2 teams. team 1 was rather weak but strong enoigh to defeat the first 2 pests on its way. team 2 was just a few points slower and went for the "difficult" pest. the first team died on the last boss, while the helper squad was slow and went the way on top...
that was the first time i had to do such complicated preparations for a event stage.

This is the perfect place to post your question. My answer to the question is: it depends on whether you want to farm the rewards given by the L1-4 bosses since the later bosses only have a 50% chance of awarding one item from the same table -and- that table is further diluted by mid-gacha equipment starting at L5. If not, you can probably give them a miss.

When you defeat a Bon Odolida Boss of the specified level, you get one of the rewards featured below.

Oh didn't see the 50% chance, thanks that does help. I'm not really in the need for Equipment and the low chance of getting lv100 Dragons & Manyus (12out of 40 chance being 30% for Top Items) makes it not really worth it to me. So I will just farm Fans till lv 12+ comes out so i can get the equipment upgrades then. Thank you again.

lv.8-11 bosses gives 1 upgrade mat. + 50% chance of another item (see list from Taon above).
lv.12-14 bosses gives 2 upgrade mat. + 50% chance of another item (see list from Taon above).

you have to calculate or try, how many attacks you need for each lvl. to maximize your rewards.
e.g. if you need 2 attacks for a lvl 15, but only 1 for a lvl 14, then do only the lvl 14 boss.

If you're specifically farming for ampies, then stick with L1-4; those will have the highest drop rate.

Ok, I know that most of you don't really have info on the number of headbands dropped by this Raid Boss. Plus, you gotta wait 1 day for the next Raid Boss to appear to determine the number of headbands dropped.

Here's my advice from playing on the DMM version: The number of headbands dropped does not change so much as the Raid Boss Lv gets higher. So, you don't have to estimate the best waiting time to spend your fans. This event is all about farming a specific boss which you are comfortable with, not farming the one who drops the most headbands. However, if you still want more info about the drop rate etc, feel free to request it from me. Do be warned of spoilers though.

Doing about 50/50 against the lvl 8 boss with 30 fans, with upto 200k hitpoints left on the times I don't make it in the first attempt. The side drops are totally worth challenging this one instead of the lvl 4 boss though. With a bit of luck, I'll gather enough equipment materials this way to raise my ratio to 75/25.

The lvl 1 boss yields 265 headbands

If you can easily deal with the lvl 1 boss using only 30 festival fans, but need to spend more festival fans on the lvl11 boss, then, for clearing the shop, you're better off focussing on the lvl 1 boss (or whichever lvl boss is a guaranteed kill using only 30 fans), untill you at least got everything you want from the store.

I'm focussing on the lvl 4 boss myself, since I like its rewards better than the rewards from the lvl 5-7 bosses, which I can down with 30 festival fans as well. But that's a personal decision. Once I get the most important pieces from the shop, I'll move on to whatever happens to be the highest level boss is, for the side drops.

Yeah, same here. I just gave up on getting her blooms and went for the manyu (which I need the most right now). We can get her blooms more easily and cheap when they reissue the event anyway. Since I don't really need this girl, it wont make a difference for me if she only has 2 equip slots and lvl 3 skill for now... :p

The bonus stages definitely don't seem as common as past events, but they do exist.

Yesterday I did the whaleship missions after clearing the phase 2 missions, (and updated the whaleship page), but with the bonus stages from yesterday and today,
I have already cleared all the equipment and blue Manyus.
I'm targetting the gold materials now, but it's going fine with the lvl 5 boss.

Have cleared over half the shop already and look like clearing it all before the event expires with no trouble. This event is much easier then a lot of past events. Run the 80 stam event map, kill the raid boss with 30 fans, rinse and repeat. No waiting on others to spawn bosses, no terribly hard maps, RNG barely matters at all and the event SGs offer so little that running them is not required to complete the event meaning even less RNG. BEST EVENT SO FAR!

Oh FYI: that is with no gems going to stam refils, I have not needed any extra stam at all.

I'm sure I got an ampy from one of the medium stages (30 or 50).
But if you just count the chests, then:

I'm not sure what the chests have to do with anything since they don't contain event currency. In terms of overall resource gain (LCs, possible ampies and event currency) then the 80 stam map, as usual, is the best one to farm. HH, if you're farming the equipment upgrades (which is the only reason to be doing any bosses past L4), then you're better off spending the 80 on L12 since the L12-14 bosses give two upgrades whereas the L11 only gives one.

But if you want equipment mat them 8 using 30 fan or 12 using 80.
