Should add that special weekend gachas and guaranteed 5*/6* pulls don't count, unless it's excessive even for those.
For example, there have been some gachas with an extreme increased chance to pull rainbows ( I believe it was 10 or 20 percent). Pulling 2 or 3 rainbows on those is fairly possible. Not super likely, but not super unlikely either. On the other hand, pulling 8 or 9 rainbows on such a gacha could be regarded as rather extreme.

What Drip's saying is that, if you recall, we had access to a premium gacha for awhile for NG where the rate for 5/6* was quite high (20/10 IIRC) as well as a few other gacha offers with boosted rates; as such getting double/triple rainbows from them would be far less legendary than pulling them on the normal rates and probably shouldn't be counted or otherwise given the same weight.

Kind of saddens me knowing I have had some legendary pulls and have not screenshots of them. :(
My best roll ever was Saffron, Pepo, and I think Night Plox, Evening Primrose, and German Iris.
It was during the Saffron Pact, I remember getting Saffron, pepo, and 3 golds.

The screenshot was killed when they decided to kill the Pact channel in discord.

I don't know when it happened, but there's now a built-in screenshot tool when you roll the gacha, so nobody has anymore excuses for not screenshotting their LEGENDARY pulls :p

Given I doubt I will have any legendary polls anymore, I very rarely pull nowadays.

I know how you feel, back when I first started I didn't know how rare 6*'s were so when I pulled a double rainbow, I didn't think much of it. I regret it to this day

It's one of those features hacked together by the Nutaku developers themselves. Same thing was the case with Autorun, which I don't know whether DMM actually implemented that yet. (It's currently kinda borked though, if the last squad of your team didn't encounter a pest, the next set of moves will go on hyperspeed. I hope they fix that soon.)

Zandel is right about the math; for anyone curious about probability calculations, it goes like this:

The overall probability of an independent event over a number of trials is equal to A^B where A is the probability of the event and B is the number of trials.

The chance of rolling a 3* once is 63.5%. Over 11 rolls, the overall probability of getting -only- 3* is: .635^11 which gives 0.68%. It is indeed rare, though it is still more likely to roll all 3* than it is to separately roll a single 6*.

The chance of rolling what we typically refer to as salt though, consisting of only 3-4* is MUCH higher: the chance of rolling a 3-4* once is 93.5% and over 11 rolls, the overall chance of rolling nothing but 3-4* is .935^11 = 48%; almost a 1 in 2 chance of wasting 50FGs.

The overall odds of pulling a single 6* in a 50FG pull? 1-(.995^11) = 1-(.95) = 5%.

We don't have the Xmas girls just yet. Also, keep in mind that the 'New Character Priority Gacha' has much better rates than the 'Premium Gacha' and the 'Reissued Priority Gacha', so it's usually better to do them. Also, they give higher priority to 3 out of the 4 new Event Girls (one you can get by doing the event easily). Basically:

Premium/Reissued Priority Gacha: 0.5% for 6* | 6% for 5* | 30% for 4* | 63.5% for 3*
New Character Priority Gacha: 1% for 6* | 14% for 5* | 85% for 4* | 0% for 3*

So use [ ] brackets instead of { } , but if you do the following, you do not have to convert them over. I would also recommend people doing this in general tbh.


Right click on the image and copy image address.
Type {img=YYYpx} {/img} and paste link in between. (Check your link to make sure it is the correct thing!)

Remove the "&thumb=1" part.
Set an image size by replacing YYY with a size in pixels. In general, a small image should be <100px, a medium <300, and a large <600. Do not make your images too massive. Remove the "=YYYpx" part to use the original image size (Warning: this is usually really big).
